We spent the weekend here and had an amazing time! One of the highlights was that we were able to bring our dog, along with us. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was so good —especially the beef cheek, which was so delicious! A special thank you to the manager, Ciara, who was super nice to us and our dog. We will definitely be coming back again soon!

Amazing location and gorgeous, clean and big rooms. Loved the bath tub! What I really want to say is that Bethany at the front desk went above and beyond for us and really made the stay go by seamlessly. She really went the extra mile to ensure we had a seamless check in, so we truly appreciated that and set us off on the right foot.

They warn you about this in advance so I was well prepared, but it is very noisy from the nightclub next door. They give you ear plugs to help. We were out late anyway so it was all good, but I can’t imagine trying to get an early night there!

The room was cute and comfortable, just a few moment's walk from the beach. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful as well.

We booked a room with a private hot tub but the hot tub didn't have temperature control or bubbles, meaning we couldn't really use it as it was very hot on the afternoon we arrived. Of course, the weather could not be helped but I think most people would expect bubbles. We also got lots of emails once we had booked telling us that the weekend would be extremely noisy but they would not be providing a refund for noise complaints. The noise actually wasn't too bad though, and earplugs were provided.

Great room with hot tub and attentive staff and very clean and great vibe to the room. The high ceilings, view of the ocean from bed and refrigerator were great touches.

The Palm restaurant DOES NOT even come close to having the quality of food expected at a great hotel like the Palm, the seafood options were not fresh, in some cases out of a can, and pre-made and NOT made to order. POOR JOB on ruining a restaurant that is tied to a great hotel with poor poor food. You can do better !!!

Great location on the seafront overlooking the main promenade. Room was very nice with a private (Swedish style) hot-tub on the balcony so you can relax while looking at the sea! Room was spotless with a very comfy bed and good shower. Bar downstairs is excellent and very friendly. Great food, better than the nearby sister restaurant imo.

Lacking any kind of ironing facilities but not a huge problem, just had to go to my meeting looking crumpled. Wooden floors in all rooms mean you will hear niose from above but not too bad. The location is very popular in the summer months and they have bar downstairs with live entertainment. They do warn you that it gets loud and supply earplugs, so don't expect a peaceful night during high season weekends!

We had the private hot tub on the balcony with a sea view - it was great - but actually a bit too hot to sit in for long. The decor was great, the room had a fridge, coffee machine and a big kettle, and dog friendly (for a fee). Bed big and comfy, elegant old-fashioned sea front and this building part of that with a great facelift Cosy and warm in the room, lovely to have the balcony Staff friendly and welcoming We stayed on a Monday so no noise issues, the town was pretty sleepy and very friendly

The room smelt of damp - but people coming in and out of the hot tub this may be inevitable The shower got luke warm only No staff to be seen in the morning - the cafe opens at 12 so no breakfast, or coffee served even Parking on the street - but not expensive, and we got a spot right outside

We stayed here for what was meant to be the night before, and night of, our wedding. Storm Eowyn had other plans, though, and wedding was pushed forward a day. Hotel was very accommodating, making sure everything was ready for an early check in on the new wedding day. Staff were all lovely and extremely helpful. Loved the room, too. We ate here the next day for breakfast and dinner, even had our lunchtime coffee here. Food was really great too

Couple of touches need to be checked. Like one lamp was broken and just dropped against wall. Nothing that would impact our stay though, just some small touches

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, highly recommend a stay. We stayed in room 102 which had a balcony and a private hot tub - it was amazing - especially the views. As our room was on the front of the building and we were there St Patrciks weekend so you could hear the music BUT it clearly states when booking that you may be able to hear the music and they give you ear plugs in your room. If you were in the bar until closing/ out for the night, this wouldn't be an issue. We had no problem with it as it was stated upfront and it was worth it for the views. Music was only really noticeable from bout 10-1am and it wouldn't stop us from returning. We had dinner in the restaurant, the menu had a great selection and the food was lovely.

I loved the boutique rooms and the exceptional friendliness of the staff. They couldn't do enough to help and make your stay pleasurable. The availability of the hot tub was great. I would stay again, but in one of the rooms with a private hot tub to make the most of it. Good proximity to the beach and the cliffside walk.

We didn't realise that it was above a late bar. The noise on the first night was a surprise(ear plugs are provided), but the second night we stayed up later and enjoyed it! They didn't do breakfast, but this was only next door and the choice was excellent.
