We loved the layout inside: it felt traditional, cozy, and welcoming. Ann and Daniel were great hosts, very kind. We were happy with the room. The beds were warm and comfortable. We had the sea view and appreciated the breeze from the window. Breakfast was nice, good-quality eggs. The location is great! A 5-min walk to the DART station (goes to Dublin, or to Greystones in the other direction), and less than a 10-min walk to the waterfront. There is a Spar, restaurants, cafes, a park, and shops within walking distance. Traveling to and from the Claremont House was convenient. And they have their own restaurant, "Daniel's," on the waterfront road!
The only thing I didn't like was more an "us problem." We felt like we were being too loud at times. We have a 5-year old; he was well-behaved, but we thought we should be quieter than usual. The hosts and other guests made no indication that we were loud guests, so it's entirely possible that no issue existed.

This is not just a hotel, but a real guest house. When I rang the bell, I could not believe that I would be spending the night in this house with a beautiful red door. I really liked the house, the corridor with the clock and the stucco on the ceiling, the hall on the first floor look very cinematic. We had a separate room-number with a separate bathroom. Large comfortable bed and a very warm blanket. Also on the first floor there is a cozy breakfast room. The hostess was very nice and kind. I also remember the shower with very small streams of water. It was so gentle :) On the street near the house you can find places for a couple of cars. The sea and the wonderful embankment are about 15 minutes walk away.
everithing was perfect

It is situated in a quiet dead-end street. Though the DART track & station is near, we were not experiencing nuisance from it. Breakfast was very convenient, with options prepared to the order (Having choice from 12 different cereals can be overwhelming for a continental). The breakfast room is open all day for making tea or coffee, and you can relax in the adjoining conversation room.
Reversing in the small street is tricky, especially with carbesitas. On the plus side, there is no parking fee.

We received a warm welcome on arrival. Coffee and a good varietry of teas were available in the dining room for us to help ourselves to whenever we wanted, with biscuits. Breakfasts were very good. Our room was comfortable and quiet, everything was very clean. There was adequate off-street parking, which is always a great help.
It would help to have a small sign at the gate saying the name of the BnB, to help guests locate the house on arrival.

I got off from the DART too early at Dun Laoghaire and couldn't find a taxi so I began to walk. After 30 minutes, I was nearly there but the last bit was too confusing. I phoned Claremont House and Anne came out with her grandchild in a stroller to locate me and bring me to the house. So kind. The DART Station I should have gotten off was just 4 minutes from the house. Oh well. The House is clean, comfortable and in a good location (once you find it!). Beautiful People's Park close by and several restaurants.

The Style and flair of the place in general. Very clean. Good beds. Good dining places in walking distance ( in particular “Daata”). Short walk to train station. “Professional” , polite host. (Nothing to complain)
Poor water out of shower and tab. Couldn’t open Bathroom window. No hook in the room for wet clothes. Host not as attentive/ready to help as other hosts we met during our journey . Did not waste too many words.

We were met at the front door by Daniel with a warm welcome and given, a grand tour of his B&B which was very unique and welcoming. He supplied us with lots of information about local transport and a brief history of the area. We had a delicious meal at Daniel's restaurant and he even opened early to accommodate us, we'd highly recommend the restaurant.. Many thanks Daniel for a lovely stay, best of luck David and Alison....
There's nothing to dislike...

The room was very very clean and the proprietary was very nice and helpful. It makes you feel in a real typical bed and breakfast. Very good breakfast. It is easy to reach with the dart and the sea side is very nice in the morning (5min walking). Totally recommended.

Traditional Bnb, with resident owners and cooked breakfast included. We had appt and difficulty getting a taxi so one of the owners drove us in their own car. There was a significant storm night of our stay and although central heating was operating all night, the bedroom was a little chilly. Only shortcoming of our stay. Highly recommended!

Great location (right near the DART station), lovely breakfast (and access to the breakfast room the rest of the day to make coffee or tea), spacious and comfortable bedroom, very accommodating on check in and checkout time, and lovely owners. Would stay here again in a second.
