The man on reception was a assistant manager I think his name tag said andrea. One of the most accommodating receptionist I ever met, very polite and professional I got a warm welcoming smile everytime I came back in from having a fag. It just made me feel like he was making himself very approachable for any issues or questions.

One of my door keys kept on call locking the lift I don't know if it was me or there is a primary card for going outside the room and the other as a lighting card, I am a smoker but I think if you put a little hut or shelter up the side it wouldn't make it look as bad for non smokers coming up to stay. I just don't think it looks like the professionalism a hotel is trying to achieve. I thought the breakfast was 6-10.30 but when I got there I was told 7-10 but I stayed up there incase it was frosty because my mum had to go to Vincents hospital early and being so far away I didn't want to chance the frost

The hotel itself was very nice, the rooms were very clean, there was almost no noise coming from other places. There was not much to complain about room-wise. There was a beach nearby, it was pretty okay, sometimes you'll get a whiff of some smells. The bus stops were pretty close-by, both for the regular buses, and airport coaches.

The train was a little far away, even though buses are near, it still takes around 40 minutes to get to the city, so a lot of time is wasted on that. Nearest shops besides a gas station, where prices are hiked up are quite a distance away. The staff was okay, they did help but they grumbled quite a lot.

My room was big and comfortable and clean. The housekeeping staff checked in to see everything was good and replenished everything. Easy to get taxis and Ubers and lots of space for them to pull up. Easy to get to from the airport and my meetings in Blackrock. Food was good - I had a great pizza when the kitchen was closed.

It’s a little remote - but obviously not something the hotel can change - so that would be the only reason I might not chose it for my next visit. Maybe a bit more selection at breakfast please - some more healthy options - avocado on toast etc.

Comfy room, nice variety of foods available for breakfast. In the evening we ordered some pizza and chips from the restaurant which were delivered to our room, which was nice.

Hadn’t realised there was an extra toll to pay to drive down to that area of Dublin.

Loved the hotel and the room . Service excellent. Must particularly call out John who seemed to be a one man band at times but was super helpful. Rafi too. I highly commend John and hope he gets a promotion or a bonus . Fabulous worker and so nice. Breakfast was ok. . Loved the hotel in terms of location and bus stop right outside. Would return.

Breakfast was ok. My rashers and mushrooms were cold from the buffet. I did not complain. Asked for Americanos x 2 for my friend and I . Happy to pay but thought 4 euro each very steep and to be honest the coffee was not great.

Bed clothes, room and general hotel were lovely. The food was tasty

I had dinner when I arrived and although the food was well presented and tasty, it was served with cold mashed potato. When I advised the staff on this they did take it away and sort it. Unfortunately the breakfast the following morning from the buffet was freezing. I highlighted this to the person I felt was in charge and she was very apologetic. It was a shame as everything is lovely. I think you could also consider closing sections as the restaurant is very large a d there were not enough staff present to cover such a large area.

This is a beautifully designed hotel and its location is great.Rooms are lovely and the facilities are excellent.

Unfortunately our experience at breakfast wasn’t what I expected. I would have liked staff to come around the tables and ask if we’d like to order the lovely porridge, but I had to go and find staff to ask. I wanted poached eggs and was told they don’t do them when in fact they did and after looking for another staff member I eventually ordered them.Unfortunately they took 20 minutes to be served and when they were brought to my table were placed abruptly without any apology.Overall lovely food for breakfast but service was frustrating.😒

The staff were so helpful and friendly. Mum needed a taxi for a medical appointment and when we returned they were so lovely and said they hope everything went well and if we need anything just to ask. It's small things like that I consider to be some of the most important attributes in staff. The rooms were spotless, we got a beautiful view of dublin bay, we could have sat at the window all day watching the world go by. Beds were so comfy, room spotlessly clean, facilities were perfect. The food was so good. Great breakfast spread and evening menu. I could keep going it was such a nice stay. There is a garage literally next door they have M&S treats and food. So convenient.

Having to leave

The location was great for us because it was an easy commute to the centre but we were away from the centre for peace and quiet. It was also a lovely walk to the town of Blackrock. It was clean and tidy and the staff were really friendly. The breakfast was also really nice and the staff were always on hand should you need anything.

The only thing, and it was nothing at all really was that the sink plug didn’t work, but we didn’t need it and like I said, was so minor it didn’t change anything about our stay at all.

I recently stayed at the Maldron Hotel for a night, and it was a wonderful experience. The room we stayed in had a stunning sea view, which created the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable evening. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make my boyfriend's birthday truly special. They arranged a surprise as requested, and the heartfelt card from the team added a genuinely personal touch that we both deeply appreciated. It was clear that they put thought and care into ensuring everything was perfect for the occasion. The room itself was immaculate, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed. The overall service was outstanding, and the thoughtful gestures made our stay unforgettable.

The only minor issue we encountered during our stay was the insufficient supply of toiletries. There wasn’t enough body wash for both of us, and the body lotion provided was nearly finished upon our arrival. While this didn’t detract significantly from our overall experience, it would have been helpful to have these items fully stocked.
