I loved the possibility to just basically walk in to the hotel and room without having the long checkin processes. Felt like coming home as you just get a code and grab keys and you are good to go (if you arrive in the evening at least like we did). The hotel staff was also very helpful and fulfilled my extra requests regarding birthday balloons I ordered for the room as a surprise for my partner before we arrived - for a low staff hotel a very hospitable thing to do! :)

The mirror in the room was very close to the wall and you could only "open it" towards the wall so there is a very small area to stand to see yourself for doing your hair or looking at your outfit.

The payment situation could be improved. Check-in automatic and zero staff there, but that also means that unless you pre-pay on Booking BEFORE, they'll call you to collect the money over the phone (which sounds sketchy but it's not, I just don't feel very safe doing that). At that point they charge you through Booking, and I got double charged (probably going to be refunded soon, but still). Also, before check-in they send you a link in order to.. secure your payment? (I did not do it). Nothing too crazy eh, but just improve it :)

Very beautiful and unique place! Located in beautiful neighborhood, near by restaurants and supermarkets, airport bus stop just nearby. In this place you can really sense the history which was lovely.

I booked the room with 2 beds in description - I got the room only with 1 bed and 1 blanket, I sent the message to the staff but they said I only booked room with 1 bed. After I said that in the description was mentioned 1 bed and 1 sofa bed they admit the room I booked was under the maintenance. Not very well handled from their side.

Confession to begin…I prefer smaller accommodations…less wait times and admin to deal with. First thing which drives you to consider / select an accommodation or not is location - box ticked, It’s perfect. So why does this accommodation make me a repeat customer ? The room…Describing the room leads me to an almost strange contradiction - it conveys this feeling of opulence but yet minimalism. Well it just works…and works really, really well. I get some people will prefer having lots of amenities in larger properties, but i like to think these owners have actually realised what the core business is and focused on delivering on that. Sounds obvious right - but it’s that feeling of being in a place which lets you feel comfortable, at ease and a little pampered. This is where they truly excel…it’s getting right that thing we lay on, settle into under the covers, with hopefully some nice reflections of the day gone and optimism for the next one ahead - the bed. Whilst here, you won’t queue for breakfast, wait for a slot to use the spa, or wait in line for check in or out. You will however, spend approximately 8 hours of your time in perfect horizontal bliss and this is what all accommodations should strive for.

Beautiful, period home with lots of character. Room was minimally modern and tastefully furnished with added benefit of air-conditioning. Very comfortable bed, Nespresso machine, kettle, etc. Small, but perfect en suite. Great location for city centre, but many great cafés and breakfast/brunch spots nearby. As an extra bonus, the Aircoach 703 from Dublin airport ( Stand 20, I think) stops less than 5 minutes walk away. We met Hilary, the guesthouse owner, just as we were leaving. She was very friendly, hospitable, and had been quick to communicate and respond to any messages prior to arrival. Overall, a great place to stay; I'd definitely recommend and consider staying again in the future.

Personally, it was perfect for my brief stay, however, for longer stays or for travellers with more baggage, there may be more clothes storage required. Pretty sure Hilary could advise, though!!

Beds and linen were fabulous. Cosy in the bedroom area. Property was elegant. Cleanliness excellent. Great location for eateries. Staff friendly. Quiet street for sleeping.

More shelving and power points in bathroom please. No heater in bathroom. Coffee maker not easy to operate. Shower more complicated than ideal. Only minor thoughts however. A lovely stay.

This is an old Georgian style house converted to an AirB&B. Clean with all the necessary equipment in the room. Complimentary coffee and biscuits. A very big window with view to the street. Friendly staff that offered us an ironing machine.

Expensive, but seems to be the norm in Dublin. 200 Euros per night without a meal option. A little bit far from the town center, but you can go there by simply walking and enjoying the city streets. Pay attention in Dublin almost everything closes at 10 PM.

It's a very pleasant classic, older house, which once inside is like walking into someone's home. Great keyless access to the building (card-key for room), it's spotlessly clean and generally very comfortable. Great soap, towels, bedding, coffee machine and all that. For me it was a good location within walking distance of a convention I was attending at the Royal Dublin Society.

To be fair, I'm not a regular in Dublin, I thought the pricing was a cut above what I would have expected...and for me would have been great to have a breakfast option on-premise.

Hilary was very welcoming and checked to see if our room was ready early which is was. This allowed us to drop our bags off and freshen up in the hotel room earlier than expected so we could go out and explore Dublin. We have stayed here once before and both times have been fab as they cannot do enough for you. Hilary showed us lots of different pubs and restaurants to go to which was very helpful.

Pembroke hall is in an awesome location, not far from some of the best Irish pubs, small cafes and other cuisine! We were welcomed with a really nice view from our window of the street, and it was never too loud for us:)

There was nothing my partner and I didn’t like, the only very very minor thing was that one of the pillow cases was a little bit dirty but other than that there is nothing bad to say about this location!
