We arrived 3,5 hours before check-in time, just to ask if we could leave our luggage and come back later, because we had to attend a wedding and probably wouldn't be able to come back before midnight. It was no problem, they checked us in early, stored our luggage and pointed us to the free coffee/tea/water thingy. When we just had our coffee and made a plan for the day, they already came to us with a key, saying the room was ready! We were there just for ten minutes and waaaay too early! Last day when we checked out I asked if they could call us a taxi and it was there under five minutes. Service, room (entire building actually), breakfast, location: excellent! :)

We enjoyed everything about our stay at Pembroke Townhouse. The staff at reception was friendly and readily available to accommodate requests. We appreciated the variety of hot breakfast choices—the Irish breakfast and omelette were our favorites. Also, the service and atmosphere were lovely. The guest room was well-appointed with a large window, comfortable bed and very nice bath. The additional loft space was a bonus. We liked the availability to refill water for the room and the complimentary croissants. The location was ideal for us—on a beautiful, quiet street within walking distance of central Dublin.

Breakfast: Good quality selection of cold breakfast items and nice menu for cooked breakfast. Something for everyone, and focus on quality. Room: Clean and comfortable. Nice mattress and quality bedding. More spacious than many places I have stayed before in Dublin. Location: Close to everything one would want to see in Dublin, within 15-30 minutes walk from most places. A few small restaurants nearby - no more that a 5 mins walk - more than enough if one was not bothered to have a full night out.

No kettle & tea/coffee in the rooms. We were told at check out after 2 nights, in which time we did complian. "You have to call reception to bring it to you"..I don't know if that attracts a charge as we were booking out at that time. One of us did have to change out of our nightware in the morning, come down to reception, make a cup at the "coffee bar" ( which is complimentary) get back into the lift & take it to our room. Get back into bed with it before the day begins. Over the two days, there were other grumbling guests also taking drinks up to their rooms. Seems ridiculous when the room has a fridge & extra snacks that are chargeable. At the reception "coffee bar" drinks & pastries are free very nice of them to provide this service. However, I would forego that for a standard tea tray with a kettle complimentary tea,coffee & biscuits in each room as is normal in most hotels now. A nice touch would be fresh milk in the fridge . Loved everything else about the stay, fabulous staff.

We liked everything about this hotel. It is exceptionally well managed, and every single member of staff was friendly, polite, cheerful and helpful. Lovely touches such as complimentary tea, coffee etc and fresh pastries available in the lobby at all times, along with filtered water and ice. The rooms were not huge, but very comfortable and well designed, the bathrooms were smart, modern and spotless. The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated throughout, and the guest lounge has a lovely ambience and is a genuinely comfortable place to sit and chat, read, or work. We will definitely be back!

There was nothing not to like.

This hotel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in and I travel a lot. Comfy, well heated and noise insulated rooms, great location in a beautiful area and super convenient for events at the Aviva. The facilities are a bit dated but still very elegant and cosy. I felt treated with respect and attention by the staff.

The TVs in the rooms are quite dated, and it would be nice to have a hose in the shower. There is a gap under the room’s door that lets in a bit of light and minimal noise.

Out stay was very relaxing and we can tell even the guests feel the same way as they were all very cheery. There's free breads and coffee all day long.

The reception staff asked for the card that was used to book the room, and she proceeded to type the whole card # on to her computer. Our room was already fully paid, so I dont see the need for her to do that. I asked for the reason, and she just kept deflecting. It gave me so much anxiety that I had to lock my card on the app while she was copying my card #. I am from another country, so getting the bank to send me a new card is going to be too much of a trouble. Had we known sooner, we would've booked another hotel..

The Pembroke Townhouse has become our go to when staying in Dublin. The rooms are lovely, there's a good atmosphere in the hotel. Staff are friendly and a big bonus for us is the on site parking. We plan to stay here again and again.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. They catered to every need we had. They gave great recommendations for restaurants in the neighborhood. The hotel lobby and lounge area were fantastic for the kids (and the games they had were a hidden bonus). They allowed us to keep our car parked in their parking lot after checking out which was extremely helpful for us to go and explore Dublin! The location was superb. You’re right in the heart of the city, with pubs and restaurants just a hop, skip and jump away. I can’t say enough great things about this place! Would definitely recommend!!
