Check-in was easy, staff very pleasant. Room was comfortable enough. Decent-sized mirror positioned on desk beside plenty of plug sockets for using hairdryer and straighteners, and doing makeup. Sufficient room around bed and room for luggage. Extra pillows provided in wardrobe (although I still could not get the pillows right). Decent sized free water bottles provided and replenished both days which was a great touch. Lots of great restaurants and shops within easy reach of the hotel. Lovely location.
No plug sockets or USB plugs beside the bed. Shower over bath (really just want a walk-in shower these days). Fixed shower head on wall with no hand held. Furnishings felt quite old fashioned. Bed was not the comfiest. Housekeeping came to service room at 10.30am on a Sunday morning!! (seems far too early for most guests on a weekend). No kettle provided for making tea (could use the Nespresso machine but the water had an odd taste and the cups were TINY!).

Location to the RDS was crucial for us so this ticked ALL the boxes! The apt rooms are gorgeous and worth it to book! Lots of lil extra touches.
We had an apt room and unfortunately our aircon was broken it was late when we discovered it so staff offered to move us but we didn’t wanna pack up so they dropped up fans and gave us a complimentary breakfast which was a lovely gesture BUT as a result of the aircon being broken we had to leave the door open as the fan really didn’t cut it and the beautiful Irish weather meant it was a hotbox and at 6:45am we were woken up by bulldozers behind the hotel working and it was unbearably loud! It was such a shame as it’s not the hotels fault but drastically affected our stay! I mentioned it that morning at the desk but nothing really came of it which is a shame as the hotel and stay up to this point had been perfect!

As a long-time traveler, I have experienced many places and hotels. This hotel is record-breaking. The reception and service in the breakfast room was very professional and competent. When I asked when lactose-free milk would be available, I was offered coconut milk as an alternative. The next day, this milk was already on my table before I even ordered it. When there was a small technical problem, they responded immediately and offered various solutions within a few minutes. 200 m away (near the American Embassy) is a bus stop that goes to the center.
Nothing.

We had fond memories of the hotel but hadn't stayed for several years. Glad to say it didn't disappoint with it's elegant reception and public areas, lovely views of the Park, spacious room and good breakfast. The staff are very helpful and efficient and were very good in finding the glasses which I had mislaid. My husband's birthday was marked with a room upgrade and some sweet treats in our room.
The pattern on the carpets in the corridors and rooms makes them look worn and shabby which they aren't . The shower with its single fixed head is rather basic and not in keeping with the quality of the hotel.

have to say this hotel knows what it’s doing From check-in, which was warm and friendly to when I left it was five star luxury The receptionist on check-in was delightful, she was warm and friendly and fast! I was thrilled to hear that I’d received an upgrade, made my day My room was absolutely stunning, so clean and fresh it smelt amazing. The amenities in the room were excellent. All that I needed. The shower was huge and indulgent. I ordered room service dinner, which was delicious. I also ordered room service breakfast, which was also delicious. I felt refreshed and rejuvenated after my stay . The bed was beyond comfortable. Every single person I met that worked there was professional, but incredibly personable and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. Everything from the food to the service is just amazing. I’d happily stay here again and again I look forward to my next day.
Not so keen on the toiletries in the room. also would be great if they had a mirror on the dressing table.

Fantastic location less than 14min walk from Lansdown Dart through ballsbridge village. Beautiful lobby area with plants, trees, candles, great ambience and marble floors, nice lighting, loved it. The room was supervclean, cosy and the shower perfectly met my heat and water power strength. As I could not have breakfast due to v early start reception offered wake up call which delivered on time. The staff prepped me a goodie food bag instead of breakfast n booked my taxi. Wonderful experience 😃 Staff very accommodating, helpful, kudos to all. I would stay again.

I grew up in Dublin and remember a time long ago before the hotel was built. The purpose of our stay was to meet friends and relatives whom we hadn't seen for a couple of years as we now live in Co. Donegal. We chose the hotel because of the location and the on-site parking. We put the car in the underground park and, except for two brief visits to friends, left it there for 3 days. There is regular public transport nearby, both bus and rail, with taxis on call. The staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient.
The shower is over the bath. That is intrisically unsafe and we would have preferred a shower cubicle. Also, there was no extract fan in the bathroom. Some of the power sockets are of a type no longer used and don't match current plug types.

I had a nice stay, but I could only stay one night. It was nice to be near the Bridge 1859, a great bar a block away since I didn't have time to explore the town more fully. The Irish Stew was the best I've ever had.
Due to a delayed flight, I was forced to book 2 nights in Dublin which was supposed to be a one-hour layover. When I checked in, I told the desk I hoped to get an earlier flight home to my family and cancel the second night. They understood my problem but said that since I booked through Booking.com, I had to request a refund through them. So I did, and Booking.com reached out to the hotel, which promptly replied that they don't do refunds for reservations like mine. Funny, they seemed to be amiable to doing so, both when I arrived, and when I checked out after a one-night stay. I am quite disappointed in the disingenuous nature of their communications with me. In the end, I returned home to my grandkids only a day late, and the hotel got to keep my $200.

The location was ideal for us.
The noise from the construction work which was right near to where we were. The apartment we were in had great big doors which could be opened but unfortunately were unable to during the day due to the noise. I did request an apartment which would be quiet. Also when we did open it we got a smell of drains and then things being cooked! This part of the stay made it disappointing. Also the room service menu needs more snack type foods, like salad bowls and healthier choices…..fruit etc.

Excellent location in a really nice neighborhood with many public transport options to get around Dublin county, some great restaurants just down the street, and a lovely park with a Sunday Market. We enjoyed all the amenities in our room during our week-long stay. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Soundproofing wasn't the best due to the joining door connecting our room to the neighbors as we could often hear full conversations and even smell their food that was ordered late at night. Could use more hooks in the bathroom for hanging up clothes or towels.
