Hotel is lovely, even when busy it doesn't feel too crowded. Staff are excellent, pleasure to deal with. Location is excellent, just a short walk from the centre and good bus routes. Rooms are lovely, well laid out and comfortable bed. Bar is a great spot for meeting family and friends. This is my second time spending Christmas (stayed for 9 nights as added on 2 more to original booking) at the Dylan and hopefully it won't be the last.
Aircon or some fan noise (not from my room) was going most of night each night but after a couple of nights it became like white noise and ear plugs helped. I would only consider this a small negative as noises can't always be prevented.

Location was amazing, a 10 min walk from the city centre. Staff were great and very friendly. Our cocktail before dinner in the city was a nice start to the evening. Our room was also lovely.
Even though the room was lovely, the pillows were hard and very uncomfortable. And I'm not talking about the presentation pillows. They were so uncomfortable that we didn't sleep well at all. The bathroom was also a continuous hot, hot, hot temperature, that wasn't really needed. I don't like moaning about stuff like this but when you stay in a 5 star hotel, you expect the best. Especially when you and your partner only manage one night away together a year. Oh, our view was also obscured with the pillars at the front of the hotel. So really, zero view. The full breakfast in the morning wasn't great either. Stick to the yogurts, granola and eggs.

Our room was on the ground. It was beautiful but I had imagined it would be a little bigger. The price did not include breakfast which I missed on the booking. I had expected breakfast for the price I was paying. Location was perfect.
I felt for the price the mini bar could have had minerals and snacks as complimentary. The room while fabulous just felt a little tucked away and there was noise outside the window. Beds were superb. The reception was also top class.

Location and boutique feel. The staff were warm and welcoming
We did wait a little while for our drinks in the lounge and we had to move rooms as we had asked for a twin not double. Once in the correct room it was lovely, clean and comfortable. The shower drain was blocked but I’m sure would have been easily solved had we contacted reception. It was just too late and I was too tired so used the bath instead.

My room was so beautiful, quiet and comfortable. I loved the decor and the bed was absolutely divine. The bathroom floor had radiant heating and the towels were luxuriously thick, soft and absorbent. I didn't eat in the restaurant so I can't say anything about that, but it looked very inviting. Last but not least, the staff was top notch. Genuinely friendly, warm and helpful. Especially Diego and Susie. The staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and figure out what I was going to do in this strange city. I was alone on this trip so it was nice when they asked me how my day was going and listened when I told them about my adventures. Always very professional, yet warm and fun. A perfect balance. 5 Stars plus plus.!

Lovely hotel with attentive staff. Very comfortable room . Delicious breakfast with loads of choice.
Couldn’t get my water to be hotter than just hot. Mixer issue. Reported it but nothing was ever done.

Essentially what you’d expect for a 5 star hotel - room and service were great, the restaurant was nice if pricey - if you’re looking for a top level hotel and aren’t put off by the price, it’s a really good choice.
It’s a bit of a hike to walk the main Dublin sites, otherwise perhaps just a bit expensive for what it is really, though considering all hotels in Ireland are like this it’s not unusual!
