The staff was overwhelmingly fantastic! Special thanks to Tara at the bar! And there was a young man at the front desk on the evening we checked in (Friday, 7 June, 21:00 [9pm]), who was fantastic, too. I wish I had gotten his name, to mention here, because he was really great. The water pressure of the shower was fantastic! And there was 1 pillow on the bed that was really huge, that was perfect for me (a side sleeper). I joked about finding a way to pack it in my suitcase to bring home.

There was a smell to some areas, including our room most days. The prices of food were high.

Room was very comfortable

As in most hotels I've stayed car parking for residents is always free I found it strange that residents had to pay 10 euro per night to park .In my opinion I find that a little high.

We art here regularly as it’s close to family and it’s very convenient for the village and to get o to the main roads to nearby areas and to/from Airport. The staff are always very friendly.

We wish we had asked for a room overlooking the car park as we had a room by the road and it was too noisy to have the window open and then the room was too warm. The room we were given had eroded enamel in the bath, fine for showering but put us off having an actual bath which would have been nice to relax. The room itself was large with handy extras like an iron and board but would have preferred a larger bed, there’s definitely space for a king or superking.

I liked everything about the Maldron. The staff was very friendly and our room was exceptional. The service was also very good.

I didn't like anything about my stay

I stayed at the Maldron Hotel Newlands Cross for 5 days for a leisure trip and had a very comfortable experience. The room was cosy with a very comfortable bed, and the housekeeping staff did a great job — towels were changed daily, and two bottles of water were provided each day if the previous ones had been used. It made the stay feel fresh and well-cared for. Breakfast was impressive: all allergy types were clearly listed both at the counter and on the menu, which made choosing food easy and stress-free. Overall, the hotel offered a relaxing and worry-free stay, perfect for unwinding!

Our 4th stay over the years at the Maldron Hotel, we always stop here every year. As expected the rooms were clean with very comfy beds. The bathroom was also clean and a good size. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and had a wide range of foods available for all tastes. Above all, the staff were excellent, we have gotten to know them over the years and our welcome is always a warm one. See you next February.

On this visit we had an evening meal in the bar area, it took a considerable amount of time to arrive and one of the dishes contained ingredients that were not disclosed when giving the order, we had to return the dish. They had also run out of my choice of beer and it wasn't available during our 5 day stay.

Fold out couch was not comfortable and was very squeaky when the person using it moved. There were also 2 fire alarms in the space of 4 hours in the morning that were disruptive. We had prepaid for the room, parking and late checkout. We had to pay €12 to get out of the parking lot which was annoying; housekeeping came prior to the late checkout hour we’d paid for and when I tried to check out at our late check out time the message was we had already checked out, which we hadn’t. Alone none of these things were especially annoying (except the €12 to exit the parking lot when we had already paid for parking).

This hotel is tastefully decorated. We loved our room! It was so spacious and clean and tidy with beautiful decor. It felt like we were in the med! There wasn't just tea and coffee provided in our room but biscuits too and posh water in cartons! The food at the hotel was outstanding and reasonably priced. The live singer/guitarist did a grand job. The staff were all so friendly.

Sadly our shower was leaking! We couldn't work out how but the floor was all wet. We had to mop it up with our towels and request more. Other than that everything was perfect.

The staff on duty in d morning today was very rude very very rude, The lady on duty in d early morning..A staff of d accommodation badged into my room in d morning without my consent nd met me and my partner in an uncomfortable position..we paid additional money to check out at 12 only for him to carelessly badge in at 11 am asking unnecessary questions about our check out time..I called the reception and d lady at the desk did not make matters easy..our rudeness was out of this world..

Staffs require more training in talking to guest nd to be more polite..

The staff were so friendly and helpful,loved the décor.hqd a lovely meal in the bar..Had a lovely time with family and would definitely recommend this to anyone,I could not say enough about all the staff they could not do enough for us ,they were so friendly and made our stay so good they all had a smile on there face..

Room was very warm and was a bit noisy with the window open,for three people sharing the room I found it a bit small ,with only two chairs .but this did not take away from our stay had a lovely time
