Beautiful room, spotlessly clean in a fantastic house, and location.

The check in process was absolutely terrible. Firstly I got far too many (about 6) emails from No 9 Rathgar, and a further 5 from booking.com all very complicated and confusing. The email from no 9 told me to phone, so I did, as I hadn't got any codes. The "gentleman" I spoke with was extremely difficult to understand, and was not very nice, refusing to give his name, refusing to give me the codes as he said he had given them to booking.com and I "should have" received them. Why not have clear written instructions about the electronic latch on bedroom door?

Lovely accommodation in a great location. No staff available but we didn't need any. The room was lovely apart from the carpet needed a stain treatment. But the rest was perfect.

My sister's room smelt like someone had just done a big shit and there were a few skiddies in the toilet. We didn't arrive until after 7 so maybe housekeeping got caught short. After having to make sure there were no hidden turds in the room, my sister was able to settle in the room and enjoy her stay after the smell dissipated.

Good accommodation, small but clean, quiet and great shower. Also great communication with host and "staff-less" check-in was easy. Only 20 minutes from Central Dublin by car. There is off street car parking, only a few places but I was lucky to get the last one! But there is plenty on street parking available at a fee - pay at meter.

There is nothing to really comment on negatively ... what would be great is fresh milk in the fridge for tea or coffee.

When you compare with what you get at the Travelodge down the road in Rathmines, No9 compares very favourably and without the traffic noise. I will certainly be looking at staying again. A fridge in the room and a microwave being available in the lounge are in my opinion bonuses. I didn't find the self-check-in an issue and it worked well for me.

There was occasional noise from other guests coming back after a night out, but that was more them being inconsiderate than a fault of the accommodation. In the absence of reception being staffed, a welcome/information letter in the room would have been helpful. There was no milk on my tea and coffee tray in the room (probably just an oversight) and as it was after 10pm and the lounge locked, no way of getting any. Perhaps a small supply by the entrance, just in case?

Really great location, some off-street parking supplied make the property great. My room, whilst small, had everything necessary for my stay. Management have thought of everything.

I didn’t have hot water to my basin & had to find out myself that there was a lever on the plumbing under the bench to turn on to make it work. Just a bit of info would have been good. Everything else was great.

Convenient location close to bus routes, shops, etc, yet at the same time not on a busy road. The freedom of self-check-in/check-out works well for me. The staff were outstanding on this visit trying to resolve an issue (see below).

There was a problem on this visit with the TV, which wasn't fixed on the first night, however the staff worked very hard to try and resolve it after that and offered a room change.

Very clean. The room was not big but well organized so it appeared more spacious than it in fact was. Keyless entry and instructions were clear. Excellent coffee machine and good quality coffee. The bathroom was cleverly organized: no washbasin! This was in the room. The shower door was excellent quality and the size of the shower (floor) was more than standard!

Ok, just one minor thing: parking a motorbike on the dirt is a bit tricky, unless one brings a piece of e.g. metal to extend the surface of the sidestand/jiffy.

The bed was comfortable, it was super clean and the location was quiet and very well connected to Dublin city center. I was not feeling well and they allowed me to check out an hour later. Definitely recommend for a short stay will be back soon

The room was super hot and we could not open the window more than 3 centimetres. As the reception was not present we couldn't ask for help. The room was tiny even though comfy and the bed had wheels so if I tried to sit on the bed to read a book, it would move very easily.

this is close to public transport lines and also has parking if needed. Arrival and departure are seamless - all done online. Nice pizza restaurant nearby with Supervalu and excellent Bijou deli for take away food. there is a fridge available and microwave for use by residents. decent coffee machines with plenty of pods always available.

No elevator and there are stairs. Parking is limited. there is street parking but you need to be out early to move your vehicle. you cannot get food on the premises. This has never been a problem for me but just not a service available.

I had a lovely stay here. The room and bathroom were both very clean, and although the room was small, it was perfect for one person. The location is great too - there are shops and bus stops nearby, which made getting around very easy. There’s no reception, but they send you a code for the front door and your room, which I actually liked, it felt very convenient.
