When I arrived, Marie warmly welcomed me with a cup of hot tea and showed me to a room with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The room was impeccably clean, with fresh white linen bedsheets, cozy beds, a spotless bathroom, a TV, and free Wi-Fi. It was also well-equipped with a kettle, an iron, and an ironing board. The property featured a fully stocked kitchen with all the necessary utensils for preparing breakfast. However, breakfast was not included in my booking. My room was cleaned regularly, and fresh towels were provided. There was also a charming lounge downstairs where guests could relax and enjoy a coffee. Parking was available at the back of the property, but as I often returned late, spaces were sometimes taken. However, Marie was incredibly kind and provided me with a daily parking ticket, allowing me to park conveniently in front of the property. Overall, Marie and her team's hospitality exceeded my expectations. Their warmth and attentiveness made my stay truly enjoyable. If I ever return to Dublin, this will undoubtedly be my first choice of accommodation—if available.

I had a wonderful stay, and I would suggest nothing to improve it.

Beautiful red-brick terraced residence, very well located within walking distance between the villages of Rathgar and Terenure We loved relaxing in the sitting room beside the bow window The kitchenette concept with access to tea, coffee (capsules or plunger), cereal, fruit and a good bit more, really scores points The whole place was spotlessly clean, cosy and welcoming We're looking forward to having an excuse to be back!

Difficult to find something negative, but I'll give it my best: There were a few pieces of information that we had to ask as they came up over the first few days of our stay (about parking, the use of the common spaces...) - the woman who welcomed us didn't give us those indications being probably still busy getting the rooms ready, although she was really nice and gave us a choice between 2 bedrooms! Another minor issue, there was a chest of drawers in the wardrobe, so it was difficult to use the hangers - yes, I'm really trying to be fussy here!

We had a great time in St. Aiden's. While booking I saw in the photo, that the house looks nice but when we arrived, the street, the area completely exceeded all the expectations! It is absolutely beautiful and safe a a bus stop is nearby. There is a common room in the house we could use with the kids to play games (provided) or chat with other guests. There is no breakfast served at a specific time but you can find everything in the kitchen, which was convenient for us with two little kids. They were in love with the house. The owner and her help were also really nice and check-in and check-out went smoothly without any problems. We had to leave very early the last day. The airport bus stop is btw 5mins walk. We'd recommend St. Aiden's to anyone 😊

It’s close to shops and bars and on the bus route for the city and airport bus. The location is in a lovely tree lined residential street. I was looking out on to the back garden and could hear the birds singing which I love. There is lots of choice for help yourself breakfast, you can make yourself tea and coffee whenever and if you wish to cook there is an oven and hob. My room was comfortable, warm and clean Downstairs is a lovely comfortable lounge for you to use. All the staff I met were so helpful and friendly.

This was an excellent find for our family's one night stay in Dublin. The location is excellent with lots of supermarkets, restaurants and bus stops nearby. Free parking near the premesis. The guesthouse itself is a beautiful old property that is well maintained, with a clean fresh interior. The room has a small fridge, kettle, towels & hairdryer. Nice shower & clean, comfy bedsheets. The shared kitchen, although small, was very well stocked and had everything we needed for our young family. Anna was very welcoming on our arrival and we would be happy to return to this guesthouse again.

Struggling to answer this one! We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

There are several options for buses to central Dublin within a short walk from this venue. It is in an interesting, beautiful area full of well cared for properties, many in the Georgian style. It has a very safe, comfortable feel. Several choices of restaurants, cafes and grocery stores in varying directions, all walkable. The host also provides some breakfast basics and invites guests to use them as well as a small kitchenette.

I wouldn't have changed a thing and would be happy to return.

This accomodation was amazing, the best one in all Dublin! We were a family of 5, we stayed in one triple room e one double room. The staff greeted us with a very warm welcome, offering us coffee, tea and the best biscuits we’ve ever had! There is a big common area with very comfortable sofas and a big fireplace that makes the place feel like home! There is also a common kitchen were you can help yourself if you are hungry or need sono cutlery. The rooms were big and all very well furnished, with everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay, such as toiletries, hairdryer, tv, heater, coffee and tea facilities, water to drink for the night…small details that made our stay perfect! Big point for the very comfortable beds! It was a pleasure staying in this accomodation and we hope to meet the staff again in the future! Thanks everyone for the generosity and big thanks to Marie! We hope all the best for you! From Liliya and family.

I had a l lovely stay at St Aidans - was visiting a friend who lives nearby and recently had a baby so wanted to be walking distance but out of her hair in the evenings! St Aidans is a beautiful little guesthouse with clean and comfortable rooms, decent shower and friendly service. There was also two lovely sitting areas and a small kitchen with lots of breakfast options for you to help yourself to. Around the corner is a cute little high street and your a short bus ride away from Dublin centre. Would definitely stay there again

Nothing - it was all very nice!

The staff member we met was a wonderful lady who was exceptionally welcoming and made us tea on arrival. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the front sitting room was tranquil and relaxing. The location was a beautiful quiet street close to the bus stop. While they do not provide a seated breakfast there was a small very well stocked kitchen that had some food such as fresh bread, milk, cereals, etc. The latter was a lovely welcome surprise.

Really helpful owners/staff members. My bags were delayed by the airline and only delivered the next day, when I was on an organised tour to Newgrange, but I returned to find that they had been carried up the stairs to my room for me, which was very kind. The room was small, but well equipped including, for example, a tin of plasters, which aren't commonly offered to guests. On booking, I had requested twin beds but there was only a double bed available and I was sent a message to alert me to that fact, which I was impressed by. The kitchenette with cereals, bread, milk, a coffee machine, fruit, dried fruit, a washing machine etc was much appreciated. There is a local bus which goes directly to the airport (although it takes quite a while!) and another which goes to the city centre. The neighbourhood is quiet and feels safe, with good grocery stores and dining options available.

This is a comment, not a complaint, because I was fully aware when I booked - the room was small, with limited storage space.
