Location is accessible with the LUAS , Dublin Tramway, many food options around and nightlife just at your doorstep. Rooftop & Restaurant are super nice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hotel has good ambiance, nice Gym and room is well furnished.
Be aware that the nightclub is really just downstairs so you can see hear all from your window! Light sleepers should stay away.

I arrived earlier than check-in time, and they had a room ready for me which was great. I was up since 3AM and thanks to staff I was abe to take a shower and a nap! At first I was in the new wing, the room was beautiful and comfortable but very small, no space at all to unpack suitcase, or beauty items, no desk space to work..) So after communcating, they made an other room available for me on day two. I had an issue connecting to the TV, and staff was so helpful! also for recommending restaurants and pubs and outings in the neighborhood. Staff: a big fat 10 out of 10!
Room size and lack of space/shelves in the first room I was in. Cleanliness could be better (it was ok..)

Really great location, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Even gave us both complimentary drink each on our anniversary!
Our room, although lovely, was a little noisy and there was a sliding door to the bathroom that had slight gaps when pulled across but when I asked if there was a possibility of changing rooms the next day, they did so immediately. Upgraded us ar no extra cost. The 2nd room was great, spacious, quiet but the bathroom was pretty wet after a shower bit we just put the extra towels down. I'm sure it would have been sorted had I mentioned it but it was fine.

I had the most wonderful experience staying at this hotel, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff made me feel welcome with their warm and professional service. Their attentiveness and friendliness set the tone for an amazing stay. The vibe of the hotel and the room was simply magical! Everything about it made me feel so happy that I couldn’t resist taking plenty of pictures. I stayed in the townhouse section, which was a fantastic choice. Having a balcony was a special touch, I had never stayed in a hotel with one before, and it truly elevated the experience. One of the standout aspects of my stay was the housekeeping service. Not only were the rooms spotless every day, but I really appreciated that they didn’t stop at a certain time. Having my room serviced even after 5 PM was a huge plus and showed their dedication to guest comfort. The receptionists were always prompt in answering calls and incredibly helpful with any requests, making everything smooth and hassle-free. The security guard was also a true gentleman, always kind and assisting with doors, which added an extra layer of hospitality. Additionally, the gentleman in the black uniform who works until 7am in the townhouse lobby was so welcoming and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, and I will definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for a place with exceptional service, a beautiful atmosphere, and a team that goes above and beyond, this is it!
NOTHING!

Pool was lovely. Location is excellent. Checkout staff very courteous and efficient. Night porter or barman in the townhouse was very welcoming. The rooms were fantastic, great decor, fabulous balcony over the courtyard. Bathroom was spacious and showers were great.
The sauna flooring has an issue. I scalded my feet, they have the wrong tile type or need to insulate it from the base of the coals. It's genuinely dangerous. A small inconvenience that the hotel is split over 2 buildings so you have to leave and go outside if in the other building. The building works from early morning right outside all the rooms wasn't exactly great either.

Lovely property, great artwork, staff are excellent, Rooftop restaurant really good. Booked a suite, great sleep in a very comfy bed, lovely plush sofa in the music listening room, balcony great for us smokers, did not get time to use pool and sauna, but could see from our balcony and there was always someone in it so, it did entice but we just didn’t have the time so now we have to go back soon but for longer, lovely stay
Ok, the suite taps and plumbing need a little attention from a maintenance man to tighten everything up, as they are a little loose, and the bath stopper lets the water out, so have to keep refilling bath, just minor stuff.

I've been passing The Dean for 10 years, visited Sophie's a few times but delighted to finally get to stay. It has such a lovely atmosphere in the public areas and I really enjoyed the whole experience. My meal at Sophie's was great, such a fabulous space, and Gabriel (thanks for looking after me!) and the restaurant staff were good fun. The Dean really raised the bar when it first opened and I'm so pleased to see that it's still going strong. Happy 10th anniversary!
Maybe it was me but I thought that the lifts were a bit weird? Pressing the down button when calling for a lift never seemed to work for me (?) so I would have to go up and then back down :-D

I might have been lucky to have gotten a courtyard room in the townhouse - so it was perfectly quite and comfortable. Also Price more than decent. I wonder how it had been on a Friday night facing the street or a lower floor of the hotel. Reception personnel very friendly, also very kind and flexible about check-in at 13h. room original design and furnishing, including the "munchies corner". The room itself is very small but that didn't bother me in the least for one night. I found no cupboard just four coathangers on the wall, which was perfectly ok, but I wondered what you'd to if you stayed longer and had more clothes, and if it was raining and your overcoat and shoes wet - not really any room to put them. Also not really any storage room for the suitcase etc. But otherwise perfect. Breakfast in the rooftop restaurant in the main building (next door to mine). No buffet but served, but you order from the menu and pay there. Was ok. Could not work out if it belongs to the hotel or not. Had lunch there as well, was ok but not 5* quality. Personnel nice.

Location is good, the booking.com price I got for the night was really reasonable. I’m pregnant so they put us in a quieter room to the back of the property & we had no noise at all. Shower was also great.
The mini bar is a bit confusing. There are loads of treats & drinks laid out which may lead you to think they’re complimentary however the price card is tucked down to the side- def not complimentary. We also priced the very same room for a week later; price was treble what we paid which for the same room, even by Dub standards seemed a bit outrageous.

stayed here for one night in room 407 and I would highly reccomend it, the room was so spacious & very clean. There were also so many nice amenities like a vinyl player & a speaker. The fridge in the room was fully stocked with different bits which was nice and there was extra room to put our own drinks in it! And the bath/shower was so good ! We parked at the Stephen’s green Q car park which is about 8mins walk away from The Dean and reception then validated our ticket so we got a discounted rate which was €29. Reception also took a €50 damage deposit fee at check-in but this was refunded back soon after check-out.
I did think it was slightly noisy in the morning with other guests etc walking around & we could hear music at night time but we were on the 4th floor which seemed to be a quieter area so it wasn’t loud enough to be an issue! The hotel staff did also advise us of possible noise disturbance due to the location which is fair!
