The location was excellent. The room was very quiet and dark for sleeping. The air conditioning was essential, as the duvet was very warm. The coffee kiosk and space to sit in the lobby was appreciated. The contemporary lobby, restaurant, bar and patio on the main level were attractive and inviting. There is a map on the back of the room key to help you find your way back as the hotel is tucked away.

The bed, although comfortable, was surrounded by three walls making it difficult to get in and out of, as we are an older couple. We changed the direction that we slept. There were also only two pillows in the room, which is unusual these days. The space in the room was very limited so we adjusted furnishing to make room for our luggage. It was far too much trouble to put them into the drawers beneath the bed. Although, there was good air conditioning, the duvet is quite warm. Having the option of an upper sheet, would have been great. and would have lessened the need for the air conditioner. We needed some assistance with the electronic check in.

This hotel is well located. It is warm, immaculately clean and has friendly and helpful staff at every level. Breakfast was plentiful with a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere not usually found at a buffet. I really appreciated that I could access tea pots and milk jugs instead of just drinks from machines which are available too. I liked the room even though it is quite small apart from the bed though the deep drawers beneath provide good storage space There was a compact tea and coffee station and bottled water was replaced daily..The shower was good and gels etc provided.

I truly hated the bed. I'm sure for those younger it proves no problem but there is absolutely no space at either side to climb in and out of it. Therefore if there is a need to get up in the night one of those sharing the bed has to clamber over the other in pitch darkness as only one can reach the light switch. This results in the inevitable ows and ouches and a danger of falling. Apart from this it was comfortable to sleep in.

The air conditioning reset itself every night around 12-2am so I was awake at 3 am when the room was suddenly much hotter (and you can't open the window). There's no vending machines in the hotel at all, or a coffee machine in the room.

Good location, absolutely lovely staf. Lorenzo Lisa Lea Fernando Orhan Gemma Onur Airan and everyone else whose name i did not ask I was in a Cosy Room with Kingsize bed, a mindblowing contradiction. A single room (said to be used for 2, which will be rather uncomfortable) with a kingsize bed from wall to wall to wall, 7ft x 7ft -2.12m x2.12 which fits at least 4 people, but 5 would be possible. Half the room is bed, which is crazy. The head site of the bed is made up under the window, which is 7 feet away from where you stand. i wonder how the beds are made up, you have to crawl all over the place to cover the edges. You can't look out of the window, window is too far away, or you have to crawl 7ft etc etc There is only 1 chair, and no hooks anywhere, in the bathroom is just 1 hook. Where to hang your wet towels. Where to hang your clothes or whatever. There is a big drawer under the bed. If you study the pictures you can see it, but you don't realise it. Anyway, I was there 6 nights and I am a flexible person, so it was allright

We loved the location of this property. It is directly across from the St. Stephen’s parking garage which was great for both our arrival and departure. The area the hotel is in is perfect for brushing elbows with locals and getting remarkably tasty food at a reasonable price point. The hotel itself is well-organized. There are FREE washer and dryer laundry machines in the basement level for guests — and they sell detergent at the front desk for €2 each. The machines are easy to use but best for small loads because the dryers are not as powerful as what we are used to in the US. However, our room was very quiet and comfortable with plenty of room for the two of us and all of our bags. Also — the buffet breakfast offered by the hotel is AMAZING. It was not included in our room rate but for €18.50/per person we felt like it was a great value and the food offered was comprehensive and tasty. Bring some ziploc bags with you to make a sandwich for your lunch if you’re trying to save money.

The only thing that was sort of annoying was that in our bathroom there was a sensor attached to the light which was nice at night because the under sink light provided the perfect visibility for the midnight bathroom breaks but all the lights turning out in the middle of my shower every day was a bummer. It also felt like the AC in our room was on some sort of timer so we kept waking up in the middle of the night WAY more warm than we would like to be. Not sure what the settings automatically were but our thermostat seemed to “reset” after about 2 hours. Either way, we decided that we absolutely will stay at the Marlin Hotel when we return to Dublin.

Modern hotel located within few minutes walk into the centre full of various bars , shops and restaurants. Breakfast was buffet and comprimised of full irish (hot) and continental choices! And was tasty and many options. Had a gym which was basic but useful if wanted to use. Stayed in a cosy king YES SMALL but room perfectly formed! Bed is massive and is wall to wall, so doubles as yours seating area for the tv. Has a desk and nice sized bathroom with 2 shower head types. Overall very happy with the hotel and not the cheapest but HEY HO IT IS DUBLIN PRICES! would definitely stay again.

Liked eveything, only miner complaint was sometimes the cleaners took say the cups, or spoons or when toilet roll had run out and they did not replace! Most likly an oversight but happened couple times, where had to let reception know needed replacements.

Hotel is in prime location for exploring Dublin City. It is far enough off the main street to be a quiet location but local enough to the main area to easily explore on foot. The staff were really helpful and available at all times for questions. The breakfast was good with a nice selection so pretty much something for everyone. I loved the addition of a coffee van inside the hotel and had a really nice latte from here.

It's a bit pricey but to be expected when staying in such a prime location. It's tourist central and as such the price reflects this. The bed was a little firm for my liking and after a couple of nights, I was ready to get back to my more comfy bed at home. That said, the way they have used the space in the cosy king rooms is fantastic.

The hotel is in a great location. A 2 minute walk to The Stephen’s Green Centre, Grafton Street and a Luas stop. I was there to attend a conference in the RCSI and it is less than 2 minutes away. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The hotel foyer is large and welcoming and has a cute horse box style Coffee Dock. Check in and out is so easy and the luggage room is a great idea. Breakfast was excellent. A great selection of food and all very nicely laid out. The hotel room was excellent with a large TV, kettle, fridge , iron and ironing board and a safe provided and a lovely bathroom with a fabulous shower. The bed was extremely comfortable with a nice warm duvet. The room was cleaned every day and new towels were provided.

My only complaint is more to do with the Architect than the hotel itself. The windows are huge single panes of glass which are very aesthetically pleasing and make the room lovely and bright but there is no opening. It’s a personal thing but I always like to leave a small window open to leave fresh air into my bedroom at night.

The location is brilliant. The ground floor of the hotel, the reception, bar area etc is lovely but I didn't use any of the facilities here. The staff were very helpful. The room was clean, and the super king-size bed and pillows were lovely and comfortable.

I was staying on the 4th floor and the corridors/outside of the rooms, as in the doors, gave off a vibe of detention centre. Quite closed in. My room felt a bit claustrophobic. No hairdryer, no iron, (although there is an ironing room..but I couldn't gain entry. A quick call to reception and an iron and board was brought to my room) No wardrobe, just 3 clothes hangers on a wall. There was some mould in the shower, too.
