Good selection, great value and met the needs of our party. Staff extremely attentive and helpful.
Occupants of one room, think it was 112, had disturbed night’s sleep because of street noise following closure of nearby night club. Hotel staff were able to offer them an alternative room at the back of the property.

Perfectly located, pretty much a 10 minute walk to central Dublin, often walking through the pleasant St Stephen's Green park. One street away is a lively bar / club scene, too. We didn't use public transport much, but a tram station and bus stop are about 3 minute walk away. The hotel itself is quiet, clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. The reem was VERY spacious with a big bathroom and decent hot water with good water pressure. The bed was comfortable, too. There's an elevator (though you have to climb 6 - 7 stairs to the landing outside our room. No A/C, but we didn't miss it in Dublin. Fans are provided. No in-room safe. Wi-fi was spotty but we're told they're in the process of upgrading.
Wi-fi (but expect improvement after upgrade.)

We stayed for 4 nights….great room, very spacious! Close to everything we wanted to see but not busy. The only quibble was the wifi was very intermittent. We had to go into the breakfast area to get decent wifi. Other than that it was excellent!

I cannot recommend this place enough! Staff: The staff (especially Una) was incredible in helping my partner and I extend our stay after a passport theft. They were so helpful in guiding us on next steps, helping to print documents, and making me feel safe/cared for during a difficult time. Safety: Location feels very safe and outer door to building gets locked every night. Value: One of the most affordable hotels we stayed with during our whole trip. You really cannot beat a 5 euro breakfast! Comfort: Great sized room with enough room to store luggage and move about the room, easy to use bathroom fixtures (this was a struggle for this American at some other hotels), and fan provided to make room temperatures comfortable during summer.
Street noise could be an issue if you're staying on a lower level. If you sleep with earplugs like me, you won't even notice.

Didn't actually stay in this property as they experienced a flood and could not accommodate guests. The reason for this review is to share that the property went well over the norm to find alternative accommodation and followed up to make sure I was happy. I felt it important to let fellow travelers know that this property has integrity even though they had a disaster.
All good

Our travel plans changed very last minute due to Storm Darragh and ended up having to get a much earlier flight than planned. I called ahead to let the lovely lady on reception know and fortunately she was able to arrange for our room to be ready within half an hour of us arriving - which was greatly appreciated! Beautiful accommodation and kept spotlessly clean. Mattress on the firm side but we tend to prefer that. Breakfast was more of a continental style but staff were so friendly and attentive it still felt luxurious. Fantastic location with most attractions within walking distance. Very good for attending the RCSI. Gorgeous Christmas decorations. Overall very good value!
Bathrooms were a little on the small side - those with limited mobility may struggle (though shower was lovely and spacious). Asked for some extra toilet roll in the early morning of the very first night (as I had come down with food poisoning and used up the two rolls that were provided) but unfortunately were not able to provide any more until the rooms were serviced (I was however able to get some delivered with some extra supplies from a nearby Spar via Deliveroo relatively cheaply).

I liked the location which was a fairly short walk from Temple Bar along Grafton Street and alongside St Stephen’s Park. The bedroom was nicely decorated and the twin beds were comfortable with feather bedding. The bathroom was also nice with twin sinks and a large walk in shower. The continental breakfast was pleasant and was served by friendly staff
The only problem I encountered was the noise levels from outside the hotel which is beyond their control. There are a couple of nightclubs nearby and the music can be heard until the early hours.

Clean room in a very nice building. The staff is super friendly and very helpful with all your needs. The breakfast room is filled with light and cleanliness. I love the French press coffee served.
The room was on the lower ground and thus a bit too dark for my taste. In the morning, you hear the noise from the street, and the trams can easily wake you up. The continental breakfast served is somewhat limited; it would be nice to have options like scrambled eggs, for example.

Albany House is a gem. Its exactly what I would imagine a stay in Dublin to be - traditional, yet modern and friendly. Actually it felt rather posh but just because everything is in good taste. The beds were very comfortable and spacious room. The furniture and decor is very tasteful. The staff at reception were super helpful with info and the breakfast staff were lovely. Breakfast was exceptional. Very clean and definitely had the Irish atmosphere I was looking for. Highly recommended and I would love to stay here again, thank you.
I loved everything. Only thing is if you have a front facing room and its the weekend there's a couple of clubs across the road. So when the party people leave it has a chance to get a bit noisy. But that's not the hotel's fault.

This building has a traditional Irish Bed & Breakfast feel at this property. It’s a large and spacious house. Staff extremely helpful and friendly and go out their way to help. Traditional Lovely Irish decor.
Would be great to have a hot breakfast as it’s a cold buffet, although quite a lot to choose from. I wouldn’t have minded paying an extra price supplement for hot breakfast as it was chilly outside it’s nice to have that option. Some rugs on floor in the hotel bedroom on the wood floor would be nice touch to make it more cheery and homely.
