Great location, small rooms fit for purpose. Environmentally conscious

We have used wren urban nest every time we visit Dublin and it seems the standards have dropped this time, dust gathered in the room. Hot and cold tap on the wrong way around, broken bin in bathroom and host at reception was quite abrupt in the evening

Perfectly located for explore central Dublin! It felt like almost everything we wanted to do and see was always only a 5-10 minute walk away. Yet it was still fairly quiet despite being close by to pubs and restaurants. The price was also the most reasonable we could find for our dates. Everyone who worked there was very friendly.

Bed was quite short (if you’re taller than 6’0), also the channel offerings on the TV were quite limited and Chrome Cast didn’t work. These did not significantly impact our trip though and are more small nice to have things.

Location is great. It is easy to walk in all directions to many tourist spots! The restaurant is fantastic and I must say I enjoyed the absolutely best fish & chips I've ever had!!!!

I knew the room was going to be small, and I read reviews and looked at pictures , but confess, I really didn't realize just how small! It was very difficult to unpack and get situated, and nowhere to hang clothes. I eventually just draped my hanging clothes on a pull-down bar thing (no hangers) that was on the wall. I think this hotel could take lessons from cruise ships! There is wall space above the bed that could easily have housed overhead cabinets! View was non-existent; laneway/other bldgs and rooftops.

Beautiful light filled entry, great decor Very practical but also beautiful Rooms are small but brilliantly laid out so all the normal expectations are fulfilled (except No conditioner!) and the finish is high spec luxury. Getting all this in a zero carbon, small differences baked in to make sure the footprint is light way, was brilliant. And the location is unreal. Price very good for spec and location and I am happy to have a smaller room for all these pluses. Brilliant, will use again.

Cooked breakfast was not great at 10.30 the next day - maybe I was too late… Lights were a bit confusing

Located in a lane near where you could find cafes, a restaurant, laundrette, Dunne's, drycleaner, a newspaper shop, a Jamie Oliver's & some clothes stores. The bed was very comfortable, the WiFi was good. The shower was hot. Breakfast had a lot of choice. Plenty of power points & a full-length mirror. Staff were helpful. The room was clean, cartons of water were available daily.

Room needed a chair or two. Got a crick neck trying to watch TV as there was only the bed in front of it. Very hard to work out the card controlled lighting system. BBC not available on TV. Only lots of Virgin channels. Shower base didn't drain well.

It’s modern and clean and we loved the eco features throughout the hotel. The location is excellent.

I expect a small room in Europe but these rooms are really small. The bed is like a bed in a camper - one side is built in against the wall so if you are traveling as a couple, one of you needs to climb in first and then over the other person to use the bathroom in the middle of the night or to get out first. We actually wouldn’t stay here again because of this. The breakfast starts at 7am which we felt was really late for most tours which we needed to be leaving earlier and there’s no budging on the time - it would be nice if even the continental part and/or coffee could start at 6:30. Finally, the price is super high for what you get.

Great location and breakfast. Helpful staff. Basically all you need for a city break. We had positive experience being first time in Dublin. We were also pleased with lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant, saved us when the weather was extra moody. Cosy nest is convenient for two people for 3-4 days in Dublin and if you travel light. The bed is also good. Don’t know about other rooms, but in ours bed was accessible from one side only. For us it wasn’t a problem.

In some places of the room or in the shower you could see some minor damages, but nothing bad, with so many people visiting it is understandable. But maybe some minor works would be in place sometime soon. One day we had funny smell from air con, but the next day it was okay. Some slippers and extra hooks would be super handy.

It was very nice, the atmosphere, the restaurant was great, the food delicious, the staff very friendly, the location was great, they let us in immediately when we arrived and it was around three hours before the checkin time. The only problem I had was with the panel control, it had some problems and the lights wouldn’t switch off, it took a lot of tries and time to switch them, we called twice they were helpful, the night before we left when it didn’t switch off at all they offered to change the room but it was too much bothering for us so we passed, they offered a free breakfast in return. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was delicious, the location couldn't have been better, and the room was lovely – especially the fantastic shower and toilet. The excellent wifi and connectivity were much appreciated, and the filtered water tap in the hallway was a thoughtful bonus.

Breakfast: it would have been nice to change a bit from one day to another (not talking about the sweets), there were no legumes in the menu. Location: the only bad thing about the location was that you had no good view (even from 7th floor), and the hotel exit is right behind a restaurant which made the street always smelly. Staff: sometimes it felt you are not welcomed. Room: no slippers, and the half the bed felt like it was sinking
