The location is great for exploring the city on foot with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. The hotel has so much character. I loved the lobby area in particular. Also, after a day of running around Dublin, we decided to dine in the hotel restaurant on our second night and it was excellent! Loved having that option. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

The room was small and we were given a handicapped accessible room, despite not reserving one. The bathroom in particular was awkward for an able-bodied adult (especially the toilet). We were travelling with another couple and they were also given a handicapped accessible room with the same challenges.

In a good location and the staff are friendly. The Afternoon Tea is very nice.

The property states they have elevators and they do. However after getting off the elevator for room 452 there are no less than 5 sets of stairways that you must traverse to get to the room. One of the considerations when booking at this hotel was the elevator as my wife is unable to walk down the steps. The manager offered and I accepted another room that still required the use of 1 stairway. You must use stairways to get to the breakfast and also to get into the regular restaurant. Another issue that I had with the room is that there is no thermostat to control the temperature. We we uncomfortable with the room temperature the entire stay.

The location of the Fleet was great! Central to everything, right in Temple bar. Off the Dublin express bus from the airport and down the street! No stress! The staff at the hotel were lovely and friendly! The décor in the lobby was beautiful! Real 1920's vibes! We ate every night in the restaurant and the food and staff were great! €7 for a pint of Guinness I thought was very reasonable for Temple bar prices! Breakfast was really nice, especially the mushrooms that were perfectly seasoned! It was a trip to meet up with my sister and we had a great time! Thank you!

Our room overlooked the alley which had a very late (middle of the night) bin collection and street clean! Lovely that it's being done and all but quickly learned to close the window on the second night! (Coming from the country side it was a bit of a shock!)

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It is so lovely, and the staff are more than accommodating. The rooms are stylish and clean, and the beds are comfy. Breakfast has a wide range of selection, and the food is delicious. I will always stay here when in Dublin!

We paid for a birthday package and some extras that totalled around an additional 200 euros. The birthday package consisted of balloons and a banner. The extras included champagne, strawberries, and chocolates. It is unfortunate that I must say the birthday package was far below satisfactory for its price, and appeared as though it had been quickly purchased from Tesco. I appreciate the staff's efforts to decorate the room, but when paying that sort of money, I would expect more than five balloons and half a banner.

Loved the comfortable lounge area with Christmas tree, comfy chairs, free soft drink, newspapers and mints available . Staff very helpful and lovely. Good choice of breakfast and well cooked. Perfect location in centre of Dublin but still quiet and refined. Comfortable bed and pillows, pencil and pad and water in room, very clean and smelt nice.

Breakfast coffee the worst I've ever tasted the cappuccino was horrible. My room had no view, frosted glass and no slippers, robe or fridge but still a nice room and very clean . This isn't a complaint just being helpful!

Everything was great, but I have to say that the STAFF WAS IMPRESSIVE. Our concierge from Zimbabwe (I am so sorry that I didn't ask her name) was so welcoming and warm. Then our HERO, Octavio, bar keeper, luggage conveyor, and furniture mover extraordinaire, was wonderful. I chose the hotel because of the LOBBY where we could gather and relax, and it was beautiful. When we wanted to sit by the fire, Octavio moved big, heavy, wonderful chairs closer to it so we could all sit together. Then he served up delicious drinks and snacks for us weary travelers. Everyone was so gracious and kind. On our last night, we ate in the restaurant and Daisy and Vitao (? I think) were so informative and helpful in our selections of food and drink. Engaging with the people around me makes a huge difference in how I feel about a place. I want to know about them and let them know I appreciate what they're doing. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed, but with that lobby (and the sun terrace!!!! yes I said SUN; we had perfect weather), I felt as if I were staying in a country house and just going up to my room to sleep at night. Double windows kept out almost all of the temple bar noise and I never found noise to be a problem as some have mentioned about the area.

The only thing I didn't like and IT'S A TINY ISSUE, was the music in the lobby. Maybe they don't expect people to be there as long as we were (like I said, I picked the hotel for the lobby), but the music was a soundtrack of piano music that wasn't to my taste, and even that I can ignore, but it was just a little buzzy in the speakers. I'm talking PERFECTION here, as it was just a little thing. I'm a musician and notice that stuff. Also, even with elevators, there are still stairs to navigate, so be sure to ask about that if there are mobility issues.

The location is a deal-breaker here! Right in the heart of the Temple bar district, so everything was close by. The lobby looks as posh as in the picture. This gives a nice vibe to the stay. The personel adds up to the vibe!Breakfasts were heavy, though a bit monotonous, as content does not vary much. The bathroom was freshly renovated, no mold at all!

We got both lucky and unlucky with the room. The window was not facing a busy street but it was very thin and covered with a non-transparent layer. And it was an industrial fan from a restaurant outside, working 24/7 and bringing some overfried food smell. Though we got used to the noise in a week, it was not the most pleasant experience. We either had to keep the window closed to have it a bit more quiet or to let some fresh air in.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the lobby with the bar is so relaxing and lovely. The rooms were very clean and looked after. With barely any noise disturbance. The breakfast was lovely and hot and plenty of options to choose from The location is perfect, a few minutes walk and you are outside the temple bar, great shopping aswell within a 10 minute walk

We had our check in around 5/6 and the receptionist was very blunt and straight to the point. Not a friendly hello or trying to start a conversation. It was just straight to payment and room number. Maybe she was having a bad day. But we just felt like we were annoying her. Other than that the hotel was great, and the rest of the staff were lovely to talk to!

Such a beautiful place. The lobby area is amazing and relaxing. The room was really nice (except where it wasn't) with plenty of space to settle into. It's right in the middle of everything related to the city centre.

The hotel is on the edge of Temple Bar, an if you haven't stayed in the area yet you may not realize how loud it can be there, even in midweek. The room to the outside is not sound proof. Add to it warm weather, and no way to cool off the room (and you don't want to open the window due to the noise) and you get a stay where the room is 23 ° C. Not to pile on, but the pillows are crap. Spending that much on a room and have bad pillows - they can do better there.

The lobby was elegant! In the heart of Temple bar, so it was quite loud outside during the day. Things began to quiet down around 10/11pm. Clean rooms, staff was friendly. Unfortunately, I cannot share opinions on breakfast due to leaving early in the morning.

The phone in our room wasn't working, so it was difficult for us to get connected with housekeeping while in the room. You had to go back down to the lobby to get assistance. Showers are small, not much room to get around. There was no A/C, however, you could open your hotel window a bit. The room itself was clean, however small for a double bed, so there isn't much room for luggage keeping. No fridges in the room either.
