I really enjoyed my few days at the hostel. The breakfast was delicious and the other facilities were excellent. The staff were very friendly and considerate. I had a lot of luggage and Enrique helped me carry it to my room. This made my move very easy. The location is also in the center of Dublin, so you can go everywhere. I would definitely recommend this place.

The reception staff were amazing and very helpful from the start. Our room was exceptionally clean and the bed was super comfy. The location of the hostel also superb - a close walk to the train station and airport shuttle. Fully recommend- great value for money.

The continental breakfast was plentiful and good. The location is superb, next to the river and in the centre of Dublin, a few minutes' walk from the Luas (tram) stop. Dormitory rooms are fairly basic but the beds are comfortable, each has a curtain for privacy, a reading light and sockets for phone charging etc. Ear plugs recommended if you're likely to be disturbed by traffic noise or snoring!
The "Reading Room" was locked, so it was difficult to escape from excited teenage noise!

The staff is friendly. Each bed had a socket and a small lamp. There was enough space in the middle of the room, you could freely unpack/ move around the room. It's not crammed.
The navigation is a bit complicated: long winding corridors, up and down the stairs - an intimidating labyrinth of some kind. There are direction signs though.

The staff was SUPER accomodating for our needs- shoutout to Henrique at the front desk who was AMAZING- he made the experience perfect for us and helped us as needed! The location was awesome- very convienent for bus stops and right across from the temple bar scene, as well asthe shopping district to the north! The all girls room was great and easy to make friends in! the facility itself was incredible with all of the offerings like a movie room, restaurant, garden, workspace.
In the mixed-rooms, curtains would have been nice- as a female in a mixed room, it was not an ideal experience with no privacy curtains.

I spent a week at Abbey Court Hostel and had a really great time! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, the staff are friendly and always ready to help, and the location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of Dublin, just a short walk from everything. The common areas are cozy and colorful, and it was easy to meet other travelers. Breakfast was simple but enough to start the day, and the hostel was generally clean and well-kept. The only downside was that quite a few of the showers had only cold water, which was a bit uncomfortable, especially in the mornings. Hopefully that’s something they’ll fix soon, as everything else was great. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Abbey Court to anyone looking for a social, central, and budget-friendly place to stay in Dublin!

The Staff Location and Breakfast
Only two things one. the bed hight..you cannot sit properly on your bed your head is always at the risk of bump in to metal rod if the bed but otherwise bed was comfy Two. The hostel don't have a lift you have to use stairs only.. I stayed on 4th floor.. Rest was great specially the Staff... I love them they all were supper helpful nice and availabile 24 hours even have so many tour booking options at their desk... I remember I booked two bus tours through them and even I chanced one them to an other... The staff were supper helpful... May God bless them

Convenient, affordable hostel right in the heart of Dublin along the River Liffey. The beds in the shared rooms have curtains, allowing for some privacy. There is a rolling lockable wire basket under the bed to store belongings, though it is not big enough for a large (or some smaller) suitcase. Luggage storage before check-in was very convenient and affordable. The staff are very kind and helpful in finding local gems. The pub right next door is a great spot!
Being in the city center, it’s a little dirty with a number of people asking for change early and late. I was approached several times in my short stay. Not the fault or responsibility of the hostel - just something to keep in mind.

The location is perfect. The staff were very helpful and there were a number of them. Bedrooms were fine. Had curtains for bed and big window to open. Bathroom in room.
I did not like the fact that the downstairs was an absolute maze of stairs. You were constantly going upstairs and winding around. Signage was not good enough for me. I was constantly lost. I did not care for the decor, which was a bit dark. But it did have a nice set of rooms downstairs, with comfy sofas, a computer room etc. I would have been nice to have at least a bench in reception area so you could sit or open a suitcase. All in all it was a very good place to stay.

As always, everything was great. I was really happy that the staff remembered me. This trip has come to an end for now, but I’ll definitely come back again someday! Wishing all the staff the best—take care!
This time, though, I couldn’t sleep at all for the first time. Since it’s a shared dorm, I can tolerate some snoring, but someone was having a nightmare and crying out in their sleep. A few of us, myself included, couldn’t sleep, and one person even got angry. I didn’t think waking them up would help, so I just put in my earphones and listened to music to try to sleep. It wasn’t anyone’s fault, but it was a really tough experience. I’ve never seen someone so distressed in their sleep before.
