The location is the best you can find in all the hostels in Dublin. Situated right next to a main bus stop that operates into wee hours of night, there you can go almost everywhere in Dublin. Also, it is conveniently located around the sightseeing parts of Dublin, including the famous Temple Bar. Everything you need is within walking premises, thus not much Uber fee is needed. Staffs are very accommodating and kind. They try their best to cater to your need, give information, and help.
The luck on the roommates may not be the best. Some of the roommates had a habit of sleeping with a podcast on, and it was not nice to sleep with the sound of a crime news. Also, the ventilation of the room may not be the best, and it can get a little stuffy in the room.

The common room was big enough and comfortable for my needs to eat and study, the lockers could fit my bag and the overall vibe was nice. The fridge had free for all milk which was nice! The location was also prime. Would stay again for a couple nights.
The room's bathroom sink was clogged so had to turn the tap off in the middle of washing hands. The common area closes at 00 and the kitchen at 9.30pm. Although these didn't really limit my stay, I see ways in which they could've were I to stay longer than just 2 nights. The bed was really uncomfortable for the price and the rooms would get extremely warm. I was also hurried out the toilet in the common area after just 2 minutes. (There is 2 toilets) I wasn't hogging it, just doing my business.

I liked that I was able to choose a smaller and female only dorm. Would have been nice if the shower and toilet were separate, but the group in the room managed okay I suppose. Room was on Liffey side above Riot bar so quite noisy, but as I had expected outside noise and snoring roommates, my stay wasn't bad at all. The second night I actually enjoyed the band playing at Riot, from the comfort of my bed! Bathroom could use some TLC as it was a small space with no window and limited ventilation, so sensitive to mould. Lockers in the room were perfect, glad I thought of bringing a padlock. Did not use the kitchen or common room. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay. Due to circumstances I booked the hostel out of necessity, but if needed I'd stay here again on my next visit to Dublin.
The electricity of my bed was on and off, but since I was able to manage charging my devices otherwise, I did not report the issue to staff. Mattress was quite hard and the room was a bit hot and sweaty, but I stayed during a warmer week with very high humidity. The room could use some more storage space for coats and towels. Bathroom could use some planchets so all 6 women can actually put down their toiletries.

The location is perfect. Minutes from Temple Bar, within walking distance to the Guinness Storehouse, Trinity College and other interesting sites. The airport shuttle bus dropped us off nearby on Aston Quay. To catch the 700 bus back to the airport a few days later, it was very easy to walk to the nearby bus stop on Westmoreland Street around the corner. Staff are friendly and provided us with a nice big paper map of Dublin to give us an overview.
There were no usb chargers in the room, however, staff were kind enough to loan us a plug adapter so we could charge our phones using a wall plug.

I really like the shared pantry/cooking area with self-service coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Although I didn’t cook during my stay, I noticed it was very well-equipped, from utensils to an area for leftover ingredients for use and sharing. The en-suite toilet was great. Friendly staff members and easy check in and out procedures. Maps and bus timetables were clearly visible and the information shown was accurate. Brilliant!
Quite noisy at night. It seems to me there were more elderly and family travellers but not many young travellers during my stay. There were only me and an uncle in the 6-bed dorm (which I think I was lucky!)—I was hoping to make more friends around my age though. If possible, it’d have been better if travellers of similar age could be grouped together?

The hostel is located in an ideal popular location in Dublin centre. They're bunk beds in dorms which have ensuite shower and toilet. There are also 2 toilets and 2 sinks in the downstairs communal area. There is use of the kitchen for cooking up to a certain time at night, thereafter for tea/coffee etc. Free tea and coffee are provided for residents. The kitchen areas are clearly labelled.
I don't know if waste items are supposed to be separated for recycling and it doesn't seem to say anywhere what goes in what bin. Even if everything goes in the same bin it would be helpful to label the bins that way as most people are used to separating recycling now.

Staff are great. The location is great. Facilities as expected for a hostel. Kitchen available with all the appliances. There is a mini mart ( centra ) that is open 24/7, and is steps from the hostel. They have a coffee shop there called Frank & Honest that I frequented. Walking distance to busses and other forms of transportation. There are laundry facilities nearby. All American laundry has self-service and takes cards.
Street noise, smokers outside the hostel at all hours. Nothing they have control over. The walls are thin between rooms, and some people return late from drinking and are quite loud.

We stayed in three different rooms as we spend two separate weekends in Dublin and booked an additional night later on for which only a dorm room was available. What bothered us in the dorm is that the light switches for the toilet and shower are pretty well hidden and there was a bit of commotion every time someone wanted to use either which kept interrupting our sleep. The first double room was facing the street and super noisy - as it was on the first floor and directly next to the bus station, the busses' passengers looked directly into our room. We asked for a quieter room for the second stay and that was much better as it was looking out onto the alley behind the building. No breakfast available but a well-equipped kitchen and free tea, coffee, cocoa and milk to prepare your own.
The noise in the rooms facing the street and river was super annoying.

The location is excellent, right in the city centre and near train and bus stations. The facilities were very clean, especially the kitchen and also the bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The beds were comfortable enough for the price you are paying, but the pillows were way too soft. We had to ask for a second pillow (which the hostel provided free of charge) but it was still uncomfortable. The cages under the beds were also not very convenient since they were noisy and you had to sit on the floor to sort out your luggage. I think lockers are a better option.

Exceeded expectations. Everything had been thought of. Security with padlock by bed but also locker by front desk. No nickel and timing eg free coffee tea hot chocolate free kitchen fridge freezer. Location was SUPER convenient in compact city where a few minutes walking or bus always required yet you wsnt to pack in a zillion activities. Cleaning agents in bathroom. Everything nice and clean. There is mild street noise by talking pedestrians outside waiting for bus, but I was too tired for it to interrupt my sleep. No noise from roommates because staff created a congenial atmosphere
It's important to note than more bodies e.g.12 bed can be distracting. I choose to upgrade to more relaxing 3 bed for a trivial few dollars more. Priceless. Only concrete issue is they need to upgrade showers handle which is too touchy making relaxing shower suddenly too hot/cold if you bump it
