The hotel is an older beautiful building with modern amenities with very comfortable beds and well designed rooms.The morning breakfast was continental or full service ordered off the menu. Great items and selection and the coffee or tea pot was a nice addition. The heated towel bars along with robes made my wife very happy.

They could use a small shelf inside the glass shower so have a place for your soaps and razor. Bring a small mesh bag to hang your items. Problem solved.

Right after taxi dropped me off, once I arrived in the room I discovered I had accidentally left my cell phone in the taxi cab. Desk clerk Neil took down my cell phone # and called repeatedly to my phone which, unfortunately, had the ringer turned to silent. Apparently the taxi driver noticed the buzzing of the phone and answered. He brought my phone to hotel the next day during breakfast. I was very impressed with Neil's diligence with this task.

The lock to my room 203 was difficult to get used to. The first day I could barely get in and then I was afraid I would not be able to get out.

Loved the breakfast. I really like a breakfast that you don't have to queue up for and Wynne's hits the spot for this. You are offered juice at your table by a waiter/waitress and your tea/coffee order is taken. There is a selection of cereals, fruit, yogurts, pastries, muffins, bread etc. But there is also a hit menu and everything from the hot menu was really appetising. I had smoked salmon & scrambled eggs and my friend had bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms and scrambled eggs which was presented nicely and was really appetising. There was a lovely young man who was just delightful really pleasant and with a genuine smile. This was a fab place to have your breakfast - thank you 😊

The noise from the Luas, but you can't be held responsible for that!

Everyone raved on the breakfast and that is my most important meal- it was beyond my expectations. Staff were very accommodating to our dietary restrictions. Front desk staff we’re extremely helpful and customer oriented. They addressed our concerns promptly (loud street noise with the window open for vetalation.) wish I had said something sooner they were so great. I plan on staying here again. The location could not be beat.

The city center location and great view met the street noise was bothersome (window open since there is no AC and not really needed.) the shower was funny and would shut off after a minute and turning it on would be like a faucet easily spilling the shower pan.

We stayed at a wonderful hotel in Dublin, built in 1845, where we spent 4 nights. The hotel retains its historic interior, which adds a special charm that I personally loved. Both the interior design and the staff were of a very high standard. When we arrived at the hotel a few hours before the scheduled check-in time, our room was already prepared. They allowed us to go to the room immediately without any extra charge. At the reception, there is a very friendly lady named Roberta, who greeted us warmly every morning, asked how we were, and if everything was okay. Her warmth and kindness made the entire experience even more pleasant. We spent the first night in a room on the first floor, which was completely renovated. However, since we were disturbed by the noise of the tram, we requested a room change. Roberta quickly arranged a new room for us on the fifth floor, where it was completely quiet. The hotel's location is excellent, as it is situated in the city center, close to the bus stop for arrivals and departures to the Dublin airport, and next to the city bus and tram station. Restaurants, bars, shops, hop-on hopo-of buses are within walking distance. Breakfast is served at the table, but there is also a self-service section available. The breakfasts were delicious. I personally enjoyed porridge, and then something different every morning: pancakes, salmon, avocado with hummus. There is also fruit, other cereals, yogurts, cheese, ham, and brioches available. The only downside was the coffee, which was not quite to my taste as I prefer Italian-style coffee. There is also a bar on the ground floor of the hotel that offers drinks and food. I really liked the hotel furniture, chairs, windows in the hallways, and the sound of seagulls in the morning as the city wakes up. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable stay in Dublin.

Beautiful hotel, made you feel like you’re in another era. The breakfast was excellent and the location of the hotel ideal to go everywhere you need in the center of Dublin. The room was clean and was cleaned daily which was realy appreciated.

Only negative thing I would say is that our room was in the front and tye noise from the tram was too much sometimes. The tram unfortunately stops late and starts very early. Noy sure if there is something that can be done for sound proofing as the building is itself very old, but I guess if you ask for a room on the back side you’ll be fine.

This was my first time actually staying at Wynn’s Hotel, even though I’ve popped in countless times over the years to meet friends and colleagues. I’ve stayed in many hotels around Dublin, but I was genuinely really impressed by just how good this place is. From the moment I checked in, the staff were exceptional—welcoming and professional. A special mention to David, the bar manager, who was not only incredibly friendly but clearly runs a tight ship with real professionalism. We dined at the hotel and the food was excellent, well presented, and served with care. My room was spotlessly clean and warm. But the standout for me was breakfast. I was greeted and shown to my table by a gentleman who clearly had years of experience—you could tell by his poise and attention to detail. He poured the orange juice, took my order, arranged coffee for the table—it honestly felt like a masterclass in Silver Service, something you rarely see these days. The breakfast itself? Piping hot, fresh, and absolutely spot-on. I truly couldn’t recommend Wynn’s Hotel more. It exceeded every expectation, and I’ll definitely be returning.

Theres nothing I didnt like about the hotel.

Hotel has character. It's our second stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Special mention to David behind the bar for making us feel welcome. He was attentive with a sense of humour and very easy to chat to. Lovely warm open fire in the lounge. Bedroom was clean, cozy and comfortable, big bathroom and both rooms fully equipped with all you could need. We were at a concert in the 3arena so late enough back. Porter on the door was very welcoming and enquired as to how our night went. This hotel is aged, but that's its charm. The breakfast was excellent, and once again, staff were fully attentive. I would not hesitate in returning. The Luas is right outside and so convenient. We felt safe and secure and look forward to our next visit.

The location was superb, so easy to travel to by public transport as well as by car, with the Irish Life car park less than 5 minutes away, and the parking price was a huge bargain thanks to the discount offered by the hotel. The breakfast was excellent, only a few items are on the menu including the full Irish breakfast. The rooms were wonderful.

The mattresses were very old, we could feel the springs while we slept. It was also noisy, which is to expected in the area as it is right in the middle of the city centre and looking over the Luas line. The rooms were not sound proof, we could hear someone sneezing in the next room. But overall considering the price it was a real bargain

Breakfast as always was excellent - great service from all staff in breakfast room; Large windows are fabulous but quite chilly when sitting next to them - maybe some secondary glazing to retain heat & keep character might be worth considering.Bedroom was lovely - large bright & airy - maybe a tad too airy as we stayed on one of the coldest nights of the year and the room is at the top of the building with nothing to protect it - heating on one radiator worked really well but second one was off on arrival & room was quite chilly 0 staff quickly sorted problem out but lack of secondary glazing was felt that night . Im not normally someone who feels the cold or complains about it - but the two nights we stayed were chilly and it was down to lack of secondary glazing rather then no heat in hotel. Only complaint was the lack of TV channels - usually have a full suite of channels to chose from here but seems major problem with system & restricted to about 4 channels.

HEating was on but weather was ultra cold and as building is ol, the windows just cant cope! ; Other than that nothing was wrong - minor issues that can be addressed.
