I had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel on Gardiner Street. The location is incredibly central — just a short walk from Dublin Portal and close to everything you might need: shops, restaurants, attractions. Despite being in a lively area, it was perfectly quiet at night and early in the morning, and I felt completely safe the whole time. Getting there from the airport was easy: about 40 minutes on the Dublin Express bus and a short walk to the hotel. My double room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and well-maintained. No noise, no drafts, no odd smells — just pure comfort. I really felt cared for. The bed was excellent, perfect for getting proper rest, and the room had everything I needed for a short stay: tea, coffee, hot water, a wardrobe, a hairdryer, and heaters that kept the room warm and cozy. I also had the view to a charming inner courtyard that added to the authentic and peaceful atmosphere. Wi-Fi was high-speed and completely reliable — perfect for video calls and streaming. Breakfasts were a highlight — hearty, high-quality, and served by incredibly thoughtful staff who quickly remembered my preferences and made me feel truly welcome every morning. Whether it was tea or coffee, they always knew what I liked. The staff at the reception were equally wonderful — attentive and helpful, whether it was providing an adapter for the sockets, storing my luggage, or giving local advice. I didn’t experience a single inconvenience during my stay. This hotel really offers a sense of safety, comfort, and care — I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Note: there's no elevator in the building, so you might want to check in advance which floor your room is on. For me it was not a problem but for other people it may be important.

The location was just to the north of the river Liffy. About 10 min walk to Oconnell Street and 20 minutes walk across the Liffy to Temple Bar, which was great. The hotel is amongst hostels and has no pleasing foyer or bar area to walk in to, so we were very dubious. The reception is simple and hostel like in appearance. However the staff were friendly and the room ( on the 3rd floor- no lift) was very comfortable with tea coffee TV etc. Good fast wifi, opening window and great bed. Small modern pod bathroom with great shower. We pre booked parking at the spire car park and found a 10% discount voucher on line so only paid 27 euro for 24 hours parking. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice. Friendly and pleasant eating area. You have to book your eating time so if you need a specific time book that time in advance with the hotel.

WE had to find our own parking as the hotel recommended going to Irish Life car park and bring back the ticket for a discount stamp from the hotel. However the hotel had no idea what the rates were or what the discount was.

The decor was really nice, staff 24/7 who helped us with taxis. Room cleaned every day. Not a far walk up Temple Bar. Room was nice, clean and there was fresh filtered water and coffee bags provided which gave a personal touch. We booked an extra night due to the late flight home and the staff were really concerned that something was wrong, but we would definitely stay again!

The only thing I would say, is that I'm not sure if the hotel would be suitable for disabilities. If you're a fan of a big breakfast then also maybe not the place for you, however the portion sizes were fine for us and didn't leave you feeling sluggish

We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. The room was small but had everything needed and was super comfortable and clean. The location was good and within walking distance to anywhere in the city. The breakfast was plentiful and overall it was great value for money.

Not an issue for us but there was no lift and there was no vegetarian alternative for the cooked breakfast although plenty of other offerings so was ok for us.

Super friendly staff. We left bags after check out and they were stored safely. Breakfast is freshly cooked for order. Shower caps available in the shower.

In the morning there's rubbish collection and it's very noisy and there were some building works outside early in the morning and woke me up. Technically it's not hotel's fault so I left the highest rate for the hotel. And room is quite small. There's is no shampoo so bring your toiletries, ladies .

The customer service was EXCELLENT. All the members of the staff (reception, kitchen, cleaners, etc.) were very professional, helpful, friendly and accommodating whenever we had requests or questions. The venue was lovely, well maintained and well looked-after. beds were comfy, cupboards had enough space for the two of us, the furniture was beautiful and well maintained and the bathroom was quite spacious and perfectly clean. Breakfast was good and offered pretty good choice, and the hotel location was excellent. We were at walking distance from nearly everywhere we wanted to go to and everything we wanted to see. And if you happen to have forgotten to bring something with you. just around the corner there's a long street (Talbot I think it's called) where you can find everything and anything. It's an absolutely superb location, as you're close to everything but the street itself is calm and quiet so your night sleep won't be disturbed at all. We stayed 5 nights and our experience at the hotel was fantastic.

1. A lift would be ever so handy. My friend has mobility issues and we failed to mention this while booking the hotel (our fault completely). I'm sure they would have been accommodating and given us a room on the ground or first floor at least. In fact, lovely Sebastian tried to change us to another room, but everything was booked so we couldn't be moved. A lift would make this place perfect but I understand it's not an easy facility to install! Next time I will make sure to communicate our needs better. 2. We would have liked the hotel to offer shampoo. They have a shower-shampoo product which is perfect as a liquid soap but we didn't quite like it as a shampoo, so we had to buy one. Just a small thing though- the rest of the toiletries were very good.

Excellent location for the city and Croke Park. Spotless, comfortable and modern. Very nicely decorated and nice touches throughout about Irish history. All staff apart from one, were lovely, friendly and helpful.

There was a waitress who was very rude. We booked breakfast and she told us there were no tables and if we weren’t seated by 10 am we would not get breakfast. I complained and we were advised that even if a table didn’t become available by 10 we would get breakfast. The same waitress continued to be rude once we were seated. She did not offer a menu and proceeded to huff and puff and slam our food down on the table.

The design is nice, and while the room is small, it was clean. The bed was comfortable with soft sheets and towels. There are two terraces in the common areas. It’s about a 20-minute walk to Temple Bar Square, and if you take the route through Talbot Street and Dublin Portal, it’s pleasant and safe, even at night. The bus stop for the 41 to the airport is just a few meters from the hotel (make sure to have coins).

Our room wasn't cleaned despite us leaving the sign for housekeeping. When we returned, we noticed that the shift had already ended. However, fresh towels were delivered upon request.

The room was on a top floor overlooking the back garden. It was quiet, which was great. Building on the opposite side had people working thru the night, but it was just an interesting fact not a problem at all (I latter find out that Irish Water - Uisce Eireann HQ is there). The hotel is a sensitively converted Georgian house. The breakfast room has been inventively contrived in the basement-level space of the garden, under a glass roof. The staff were attentive and friendly but unobtrusive.

It was not really a problem, just an inconvenience; room was on the third floor without elevator. And, as I am way from fit, going to the room two or three times per day was, well, sort of fitness. But, on the plus side; they have elevator for suitcases.
