The staff were friendly and the room was spacious and clean. Big comfy bed. Location was great, the city centre and shopping area was 10min walk away. We stayed to watch a comedian at the 3Arena, that was about 20min walk away.

I didn't realise it was so close to the railway/tram routes and even when we closed the windows you could still hear them. We also visited on a rare very hot weekend. But the radiator was on in the room when we arrived :( and no fan in the room was provided. Couldn't have windows open for noise of the street/trains, so was abit stuffy to sleep in.

It is a handy location - taxi rank close but and airport buses and a five minute walk down town. The breakfast selection was good and varied and the Station Bar is pleasant although it could do with improving its lighting - a little bit gloomy but as everywhere friendly staff. My room was on the third floor but there is a lift, although only one so could get a wee bit busy but not a problem. I would go back if I decided to return to Dublin.

Nothing really, maybe an armchair in the bedroom would be nice . The free Dublin Street map is bloody awful and Google Maps are no substitute for a decent street map so have one on sale would be an added facility as trying to work out the streets around is a little complicated.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. There is a restaurant connected to the hotel that opens at 3 pm but is available for a delicious breakfast for purchase 7-10 am. Bus station close by and convenient to municipal bus stops in to get around Dublin inexpensively. Convenient to some excellent Dublin pubs and bakeries. The manager gave us a courtesy upgrade room. Everyone at this hotel truly goes above and beyond for their guests..

The hotel does have some long winding hallways with short up and down stairs to front rooms but the staff always ask if we needed help to check luggage in or out. The front rooms can be warm on hot summer days in Dublin & there are no fans in those rooms. Staff does crack a window after cleaning to try and reduce the heat. Not a big issue on either of the above but just be aware when making reservations.

Comfy room, nice and quiet. Initially though our room was too noisy at the front of the hotel. In the winter this wouldn't matter because the windows would typically be closed. Luckily, the management were able to move us, despite being practically fully booked and this led to us having a marvelous room in a different place within this extensive hotel. The bathroom was excellent with a powerful shower and even a heated towel rail.

Very little really. The second bed we had had a reinforced edge. An uncomfortable feature meaning one couldn't sit on the edge of the bed to put on ones socks. The other thing was the shower was fixed and there was a curtain which meant that there was a little less flexibility when taking a shower.

The hotel Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was self-service and there was plenty of choice and the hotel bar serves excellent evening meals which were reasonably priced compared to other places we ate out. Rooms were large and very clean with firm comfortable beds. The showers and bath had fast-running and constant hot water.

I was the only one out of 4 of us who had difficulty sleeping due to the location near a bus terminal and trams but these did not run too late and it was handy for our trip out to Howth and travel to the ferryport. I had difficulties closing the curtains as they weren't tab top and suitable for the curtain pole and it felt like I was sleeping in daylight due to the lights outside. Despite the location near other services, it was very good for getting to places within Dublin and I would book this hotel again due to this and next time take earplugs and an eye mask to combat the issues I had.

It was my second time in Beresford Hotel, I really liked it 2 years ago and now that they have updated the furniture looks completely different and even nicer. The staff is great and helpful, and the hotel is perfectly located. The bus station is just in the corner and the stop from the airport bus and the main streets of Dublin city center are easily in a short walkable distance. The breakfast is fantastic and full English breakfast is served. This time again I was staying because it's close to the Convention Center, I was there again for a conference and I didn't hesitate to book again in this lovely hotel. Definitely my place to stay if visiting Dublin.

Ideal location to discover Dublin, the room meet my expectations and good hotel for a couple. The breakfast is very qualitative with a large choice of options between Continental or Irish breakfast. On top of that, the kindness of the staff is really pleasant. We had to store our luggage for an extra day in order to discover the city freely and the staff were very understanding and helped a lot along the way!

As we had a great hot weather in Dublin (Very lucky I know) I would like to have a fresh and cold shower but it was not possible to have cold shower where the temperature of the shower was a bit too warm for my taste

Very clean hotel throughout. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Room was spacious and comfortable. Needs were anticipated before arrival ,such as a fan in the room and extra pillows already provided without asking. Very accessible location with bus, tram and train a stones throw away from the front door. I have stayed here several times now and will always recommend.

I have nothing personally to complain about. I loved my stay and frequently return to this hotel. The only thing I will highlight for others is that if you stay in the front facing rooms you can hear the tram and buses early in morning and late at nigh

The breakfast is GREAT and my god the shower.... I'm pretty sure I don't have a single dead skin cell on my body and that's AMAZING.... bed was comfy, room was a decent size and you can't beat how handy is it from the train station!.....

...... It's legit not the fault of the hotel but my days the noise of the trams and trains... I'm lucky that I can sleep through anything but my wife tossed and turned a bit... If you like city noise or a heavy sleeper then rock on but if you don't definitely bring ear plugs or something similar! It's not deafening by any means and I coped fine... But it's more a warning that it can be a bit noisier... More to love than hate though by far!

The rooms were comfortable. It was in a very good location. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Only stayed a couple of nights but they made the bed and tidied. Liked the heated towel racks. A nice touch. Lots of power points.Though perhaps a little pricy, the buffet breakfast was good. Had a lot of variety and things you could save for morning tea.

Not sure why we were given the disabled room. Wasn't that inconvenient but a bit of a nuisance with the bathroom arrangements. What was a real nuisance were the hot and cold water taps. Because they weren't marked and were different from anything I've seen before, it was guess work to balance hot and cold in the shower. Even worse the sink taps. To get this a reasonable temperature, you had to move the tap through extremely hot before you got to the cold water. Could be dangerous. Maybe its not the custom here but in Australia even the meanest motel has a small fridge. Not here. The room was quite stuffy. No fan but you could open the window. But then you got outside traffic noise though that was not too bad.
