All of the staff were friendly. The hotel is clean. Our room was clean.
My dinner experience at the hotel restaurant wasn’t good. The staff were friendly. I ordered rigatoni pasta one evening in the restaurant and it had no flavour and too oily. Also just thrown onto a plate. I could have done it better and presented it better at home. Very substandard for over €20.00. I ate only half and told the waitress. I would have ordered coffee and dessert had I been approached after that at all. I wasn’t, and after 15-20 minutes I just got up, paid and left the restaurant.

Location is the best thing about this hotel, you are close to the most important locations. After visiting the pub, you can walk to the hotel. Breakfast is good (15e), room is clean and looks like in the photos. The lobby and restaurant are very nicely decorated. It is quiet at night so you can get some sleep. The room is small so it is more suitable for couples rather than families. An iron and a hairdryer are available.

Location was very good but the best part of the stay were the staff who made us feel very welcome and many went over and above their duty to help us during our stay. The in-house restaurant MOSSCO was a great attribute and served the best food at affordable prices. Staff worth mentioning were IRENE (waitress in the restaurant) who went out of her way to get our meal sorted when we had restrictive time limit. Her pro-active attitude was very refreshing and noteworthy especially as she was relatively new to the position. WILLOW in the bar was also an asset to MOSSCO as she was professional and welcoming behind the bar. She quickly recognised us during our stay and remembered our favourite cocktails which was impressive and she made a mean cocktail. TAMITA, one of the breakfast managers was also a pleasure to meet as she also recognised us during our stay and always had a lovely word for us. Other bar staff to commend for their politeness were SERGIO and ANDRE.
The size of the room was the most disappointing aspect of our stay and it felt quite cramped with the furniture in the room. I particularly felt it as I suffer from claustophobia, and was expecting a little more room than we received. In comparison with the Premier Inn room where we last stayed, this was cramped. I was also disappointed to receive a discount voucher for the restaurant towards the end of the stay rather than on arrival: receiving it at the beginning would have been more inducive to using it when the customer would welcome an in-house meal on arrival when there may not have been time to explore locally. Giving it at the end of the stay was less helpful as we had had time to find other restaurants that were more unique and alternative.

I’ve been to Dublin more times than I can count, and as someone originally from Limerick who now lives in France, I’ve tried my fair share of hotels. Travelodge Plus absolutely blew me away. From the moment I arrived, every single member of staff was warm, genuine, and on-the-ball — the kind of hospitality you simply can’t fake. They are the heart of this place and the reason it’s Dublin’s best-kept secret. The hotel itself is spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. My room was quiet, the bed was super comfy, and the little touches showed real care. Check-in and check-out were effortless, and the team somehow made everything feel both professional and personal. Location-wise, it’s ideal for getting around the city without the fuss, and the value for money is exceptional — especially in a city where that can be hard to find. In a world where quality is measured in stars and five is the maximum, I’d give Travelodge Plus a solid six without a second thought. If you want genuine Irish hospitality paired with comfort and great value, this is the place. Bravo to the team — you’ve won me over completely.
There was and is nothing not to like about this best keto secret.... fabulous 😍

Check-in was nice, quick and friendly. Isabelle was very pleasant to talk to. The location was also very handy, one of the main reasons we choose the hotel. The dinner we had was good too. Diego was diligent and had good character. The food was also great. The luggage store was also very useful.
The food in the restaurant (dinner) took longer than anticipated to come out, even though we were one of two tables eating at the time, which was bizarre. The TV in 674 kept cutting in and out at time and the room was a small bit cramped. The milk in the room was also not the nicest due to being in a warm room all day (nothing you can do to change that though) but diego got us a glass of milk upon request in the restaurant. These little hiccups didn't take away from our great experiences however

The hotel staff is excellent—from the receptionist to the busboy, everyone we met was kind, courteous, and helpful! Good food too!
There was no parking. Not only that, but you had to park on the street or use a nearby garage that was about a 7 min walk. Parking at the meter during business hours meant you have to move your car every 3 hours and be sure to feed the meter at 7am. Parking in the garage meant you had to pay €20 a day, plus pay every time you exited the garage WITH validated parking from the hotel—I guess it’s more without that—when meant you could pay much more than that. I think they need to work out something better:

The bedroom was well appointed, clean and comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. Big plus was being able to open a window which is not a given on the 6th floor of a hotel - thank goodness! We loved being able to have fresh air. The staff were all fanastic and couldn't do enough for us.
It was a 10-15 minute walk to the centre which would be no problem at all for most people although a little far for my elderly mother so we ended up using UBER quite a bit! The breakfast offering was not as high quality as other places I have stayed in but after all it is a budget hotel. Some nicer bread eg bread rolls would have made a difference. Overall though we were very pleased with our choice.

Rooms are beautiful and spacious. USB charging ports everywhere which was nice. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Air conditioning in each room very simple and easy to cool/warm. Rooms very quiet. Delicious breakfast and staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly. Location was excellent. Only a few minutes walk from temple Bar and other attractions. Nice lounge on the ground floor for business/phone calls or just hanging out watching sport.
Soap dispenser in the shower was the only let down. Other hotels have shampoo/conditioner/bodywash. If they changed this, it would be perfect. Apart from that, my stay was great.

This hotel is modern and in great condition with excellent facilities. It is light and bright and in a very convenient location for the airport/Belfast coach and completely walkable to the city centre and all main attractions, so no travelcard or other transport tickets were needed. The hotel breakfast was also very good value, pre-booked for 13Euros per person, so definitely much better value than finding a café. Staff were all very welcoming and helpful.
Our room was actually quite tight for two adults. We had a twin room, but even with the beds pushed very close together there was not much space for our luggage.
