Extremely convenient location for Trinity College, Archaelogical Museum and all transport including Hop-on, Hop-off bus tours and Merry Ploughboy Pub shuttle pick up. Parking around the corner at a public lot with reduced rates. Breakfast was excellent and staff was very friendly. Stored our luggage until our room was ready after our early morning flight arrival. Very comfortable, quiet accommodations in the townhouse building across the street from reception.

The public parking was on a one-way street around the corner so with protests in the government area nearby while we were staying, access was temporarily limited, but that was not the fault of the hotel. The convenience of the location overrides any inconvenience we had with parking.

Superbly appointed room with all the facilities one would expect in a city hotel. Held a traditional quaintness whilst presenting with contempory and well maintianed decor and facilities. Very clean and staff exceptionally freindly and helpful. Hotel well located close to all the key areas of Dublin city; Trinity College, O'Connell Street and the bustelling Temple Bar area. There is also a supuerb Italian restauarnt ext door to the hotel.

Whilst not a responsibility of the hotel, the transport facilities for travelling into Dublin city from the airport are not as good as in many comparable cities.

I was especially impressed with the staff at Trinity townhouse Hotel. When my first room was not up to the standard of the Iveagh garden hotel (where I had transferred from that day to have a nice send off weekend), Julia and Isaac did everything they could to make my time better and eventually were able to find an upgraded room for me and never treated me like a problem guest. I’d like to give a special thank you to Julia who is always extremely poised and helpful.

The price and size of the original room and the amenities of the hotel were far below the standard set by the Iveagh Garden Hotel that week. Though I understand that the other hotel is not in the main tourist area. I was frustrated that I was not able to cancel my room and move hotels when to my understanding the hotel was already full and was not going to lose important money from me.

The location is perfect for getting around the city on foot or bus. The rooms are compact but well organzied so it doesn't feel cramped. The breakfast is excellent!

There could be more outlets in the rooms - there wasn't an outlet close to mirror for drying hair and one bed side table didn't have any power outlets. But we made it work and the hotel has extension cords available. There are NO elevators beacuse of the historic nature of the hotel. The staff will carry your bags to your room so that's not really an issue but if stairs are a problem, just ask for a room on the first floor

The staff were lovely and so professional. The ladies in the breakfast room were very attentive and all of them smiling and so pleasant. The location is perfect, within walking distance of everything you would want to see or do in Dublin.

The bed was uncomfortable and a little more attention could have been paid to the cleanliness of the rooms ( the walls in both rooms we stayed in needed a wash). The stairs up to the rooms with luggage was a struggle and if someone out of shape or elderly books this hotel I would suggest asking for a lower floor.

Beautiful hotel. Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. Our room was really comfortable and quiet. We were at the back of the hotel and the windows were partially frosted for privacy, there was a ventilation system just below the bathroom window, but it really wasn’t a problem for us. We paid for the cheapest room and it far exceeded our expectations. The aircon and heating system worked incredibly well. Huge comfortable bed and great pillows. The breakfast choice was great, I loved the fresh fruit salad, the yogurt with granola, croissants, poached eggs, orange juice and coffee. The only niggle was that the bacon and a few other cooked items were tough. Location was great, really central, but also in a quiet location.

Great location. Well appointed compact room. Tea coffee making with biscuits 😊 Tissues - always a nice touch thanks and first face washer on tour! Nice full Irish breakfast with additional fruit, yoghurt and cereal and fruit juices and pastries.

Very small room. Lucky I don’t have a cat to swing. Limited PowerPoints for charging etc. The bed is very high so don’t consider booking if you are a shorty. But there is a lounge that you can sit in if you need to sit because there is no chair in the room and nowhere to put your bags unless you slide them under the bed. Warning there are four different buildings up to 3 levels with no lift and Steep stairs. Thin towels and toilet paper. Edge of Shower walking away from the tiles on the floor I think that could be grouted.

Complementary upgrade. Great Breakfast.

We booked a Superior King room for 6 nights, and first we were given a corner room that had a 45 degree angled wall that cut across the space. It was small and cramped; it definitely should NOT be sold as a Superior King. We were at first told there was no other Superior King available, but then we were given the option to move to room #112 which, out of desperation, we did. While room #112 was large, we were in the basement--one window that let in no light and that looked out onto concrete--and there was no decorative fireplace. It was definitely NOT like the photos on the website.

The room was lovely, spacious and very well appointed and the beds were super comfortable. Great attention was paid to everything

The TV ocassionally had trohble finding the areial signal however this is not an issue to me at all.
