It was a small quirky room with all the mod cons you need. Quiet, despite being on the beach promenade. Fantastic that you had breakfast in the restaurant where we also had dinner the night before. Fantastic food. Great beds, and even though it was tight, it had a special charm about it. Loved all the quotes from Oscar Wilde int eh room and all over the hotel,

Our heater didn't work, and neither did the TV or the plugs on the same side of the wall, so I think a bigger electrical problem was at large. However, we were given 2 heaters to keep us warm at night.

This boutique Hotel was in a perfect location which was right on the promenade and opposite the pebble beach. The staff were extremely friendly and it was immaculately clean throughout the entire building which included the Caffee Vergnano, Wildes Bar and their Indian Restaurant. There is also a Kebab shop under the hotel too. The rooms and hotel were beautifully decorated and very modern yet kept some period features. We stayed 2 nights and on the second day our towels and bathrobes were changed and the room was cleaned. There is onsite parking available (£10 for 24hrs) which was greatly appreciated as it’s pay and display everywhere.

I am on crutches and was aware of no lift, however I wasn’t aware just how steep the stairs to the bedroom was. I managed ok as I had help. Therefore, the property is not ideal for people with limited walking abilities and it’s certainly not wheelchair friendly. There are approximately 12 steps to get into reception. There is no lift and a flight of stairs to get to the first floor bedrooms. The bathroom in our room was very much an en-suite as it was small with no heating in it but immaculately clean.

Lovely staff. They couldn't do enough for us. Room was small but adequate for our needs with a fantastic view. We were offered a bigger room for a bigger price when we checked in but we didnt require. A sea view was what we wanted & it didnt disappoint. We could lay on the bed with the window open and hear the waves breaking onto pebble beach! The soap in bathroom smelt devine! Breakfast was delicious and served until noon! Bed was very comfortable. A throughly enjoyable stay in this historic property! Would stay again without hesitation! The food in the bar was nice and the selection of drinks was amazing! I have never saw a better stocked bar in my life! The off street parking was worthwhile. We were there off peak and there was amble space in the road but I would say busier times of the year you would be stuck so definitely recommend the 10 euro per day to park at the side of hotel.

Couldn't get the TV to work the local channels. Netflix prime etc worked fine. The 2 lights above the bed didn't work. The USB socket in plug beside the bed didn't work. The double socket below the TV worked fine the 1st day as I used it for the hairdryer but day 2 it didn't?! Just little things but if they had worked my score would be a 9.

The location of the hotel was great, right on the seafront. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, including the night porter who had to close the door behind us when we checked-out at 5am for our early flight home. Our room was comfortable with a side view of the sea. The bathroom was small but clean and sufficient for what we needed for 1 night. We also ate at The Curry Leaf which is downstairs in the hotel and the food was absolutely delicious. Having parking on-site was also a bonus, given the busy seafront location. Thank you

Location was great. Breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable.

Having to pay €200 deposit! This didn’t happen on previous stay. We had already paid our 4 night stay in full; we are in our 60’s, I’m not sure what damage the owners thought we were likely to do! Room was very small, bathroom minute. Downstairs sitting room and upstairs balcony area were closed.

The room was lovely and comfortable and cosy, the shower was great. Lovely extra touches like comfy bathrobes. Excellent location, lovely cafe for breakfast also. Staff are very nice and cheerful.

We booked a sea view which we didn't get.

Lovely Hotel full of character, staff were very welcoming and helpful. Restaurants on site and a well stocked bar. Good view of the sea from the room would be lovely in better weather. Nice to stroll on the prom and a short walk into the town centre. We stayed in Bray overnight as it was only about 45 minutes to the ferry. The room was small but comfortable and had everything we needed.

We prefer a bath to a shower but the shower was of a good standard.

As cold and stormy as it was outside - we were welcomed in the complete opposite manner: warmly and so kindly! The staff immediately offered us warm coffee and checked us in. The downstairs dining and restaurant area is lovely and has interesting bits (photographs & a guestbook dating back to 1882) for those who wish to know more about it's rich history. The room had a (tiny, but there) sea view which we loved, and it was clean and comfortable after our long journey. We would definitely stay here again, and like we said to the staff upon leaving: the only thing we didn't like - is that our stay was so short.

We had three rooms altogether. All were lovely, very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. They are not massive rooms but has everything you need and perfect just for us. We had an absolutely fabulous dinner in the Curry Leaf restaurant. It was honestly the highlight of our trip. Soo delicious!!

The fire alarm woke us up with a scare early in the morning. False alarm. But these things happen and wasn't really a big deal to us, We had a laugh about it afterwards.
