We stayed at the Rochestown Lodge hotel last year and the room was superb. We were slightly disappointed as our room this year wasn’t as nice. The bed was very comfortable, as a consequence we enjoyed several good night’s sleep. Overall a great stay and we will certainly be back. As before the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We felt that the finish on the woodwork, especially around the bathroom door was not a good standard. We also didn’t think it was necessary to have the heated towel rail on in the bathroom but unfortunately we couldn’t find a thermostat to turn it off.

Breakfast was great and an additional bonus, you can order from a menu not like most hotels breakfast buffet...plates hot and the breakfast was lovely and lots of choice, we had dinner in the bar and the food was really good, staff very attentive and great service never waited long for a drink, the room we stayed in was gorgeous really comfy beds and a great shower.. the staff in this hotel are super friendly and very attentive..I would definitely return here, we went to the Dublin Horse show and their is a direct bus outside of the hotel ...the receptionist even sorted out my change for the bus!!

Clean, nicely laid out with good parking space. Our room faces the front of the hotel with a main road but it was not a problem, must have been good double glazing? The staff were amazing and very friendly. Kelly and all at reception were lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was the best, the staff so attentive and obliging, if you wanted a particular table they would make it available in minutes, and the food was delicious. Well done to everyone at Rochestown Lodge Hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, when we arrived I was anxious to get my EV charged but the weekend we arrived was the same weekend of the software failure which effected so many things, including my phone registering in Ireland, which I didn't realise for a while. Despite my, and the hotel staffs, best efforts I couldn't get the charging station to charge my vehicle, it looked as if it was going to charge but it kept failing after a few minutes. We were then given alternative venues by the receptionist, all of which wanted an app installed on my phone which just wasn't happening. We eventually located a high speed charging station which worked when I tapped it with my credit card. This aside, all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, whether it was something we needed or things to see or places to go. They were even able to tell us which bus to get and where to get it. The dining room staff couldn't do enough for us, whether it was a strange food request, or what a particular meal consisted of, nothing was too much bother for them and made our stay all the more enjoyable.

The weather could have been better, but that was beyond the staff's ability to fix. The room was a bit too warm for me but my wife enjoys heat, I don't, again beyond the hotels ability to resolve. I can't say anything bad about the hotel, every question I asked was answered politely. So all I will say is, "If something isn't to your liking, don't spoil you stay by not speaking to the staff." I asked lots of questions and received an answer to every one, some were regarding the hotel and some regarding the local area, but every reply was polite and, to me, informative.

Rooms are so clean and comfortable didnt know what to expect for the price I paid but it exceeded my expectations. Amazing place to stay and very relaxing.

The only aspect I wasn’t too fond of was the price of the food and the uncertainty of timings, for example they have a lovely lunch and dinner menu but there was no info about what time lunch started/ended and vice versa with dinner, but the dinner we had was gorgeous. We got lunch the day we were checking out, 2 ham and cheese toasties (albeit came with fries) cost just about €25.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. We did enjoy breakfast the following morning – very friendly and helpful staff and lots of tasty food. The pool was also very enjoyable. Warm and not too busy.

The TV in the adjoining room did not seem to have all the channels tuned in. The walls seemed a little thin and it was easy to hear doors on other rooms slamming. Also, the toilet felt like it was not connected to the wall properly – it probably was but felt a little shaky.

We loved the staff in the hotel all very welcoming and friendly. We also loved the cleanliness of the hotel in general. Our rooms were very clean, spacious warm and comfortable as we ended up staying a second night we had two different rooms. The leisure facilities also were brilliant we made good use of the really lovely pool, jacuzzi, hot tub, steam room and sauna.

The hot tub was temporarily out of order on the first night we stayed Friday 18th April which was very disappointing.

Reception and breakfast staff, nice quiet room, lovely breakfast plenty of everything.

Location was an issue there are no amenities nearby, only a petrol station across the road, had to get a taxi to Dun Laoghaire which was 10 minutes away. Did not like the fact that we had to pay on arrival, anywhere else we have stayed we have always paid on departure. Double and single bed, would have expected a King sized bed. Bar staff very slow taking orders and they were not particularly busy.

Great selection on the breakfast menu. The room was quite big for the four of us. We only ate lunch in the restaurant once, due to family commitments, but great selection again and meal was delicious.

I thought I booked a family room with separate bedrooms, but beds all in one room! Asked reception but they said all connecting rooms were booked. (My error so had to suffer one room with 3 men!!! ;) )

It is a very nice hotel with a very good leisure centre! We really enjoyed the facilities there. Good sized room, and a quick stop across the street for convenience. The room has everything except a refrigerator and safe. The lighting in the room was not great which I didn't like as I was getting ready for a function. Was great for a one night stay.

The restaurant to me wasn't up to par. When ordering spring rolls for a main at lunch, tea little Aldi style egg rolls doesn't really satisfy!
