Our location was excellent. Within walking distance of Trinity College, to city centre and shopping. Could also walk to Jameson whiskey tour. Dunlin Express and Hop On Hop Off stopped outside our hotel. Our hotel was lovely! It's like we stepped back in time with the fireplace (decoration only) and the furnishings. We were in a twin room and had tons of room. The tea room was beside our room, so we popped in every morning to make our tea. Has everything you need to make your tea or coffee. They would leave pastries sometimes, and you leave your dishes in the sink. They clean them up. The pub next door has great food and friendly staff. The gentleman who checked us in took our luggage upstairs for us. It was a wonderful experience, and if l were lucky enough to visit Dublin again, l would stay here.

This isn't about the hotel but to the people making reservations. Read their website. They let you know they don't serve breakfast, but down the street is a lovely bakery. There was no air conditioning, but we were there at the beginning of June, and we left the window open. It was all good. They do provide a fan. They are on a busy street so it can be a bit noisy. Check their website to see their hours. If you want to eat at the pub you can plan around their opening hours. The shower stall is tight.

Very good location, nicely sized room. Perfect facilities. Works brilliantly for a group for friends and could work for families. Not much else to say as everything worked for why we booked the hotel.

No major complaints with the hotel itself, just be aware with the location trains run late, mostly till around 12am. Went into the hotel expecting this though so it wasn't a huge issue. Just a small note the single bed may be an issue for individuals on the taller side (In a 1 double 1 single room). I am 5'7 and there was only a couple of inches room at the bottom. Should be fine for anyone under 6 just nice to be aware of this.

The pub downstairs was vibrant, so quaint, delicious food and had very friendly staff. The location is a 6 minute stroll to Temple Bar district but also across from a Harry Potter vibes university and perhaps the best of all, two doors down from the bread factory which was simply delicious. The room was well sized and easily fit us all in (2 adults 1 child) with space to spare even, the rooms and bathroom were clean and tidy, the lovely flowers outside the windows were bright and welcoming. The property tells you up front that they don’t have air conditioning so this may affect some people if travelling in the Summer (we were mid September) On the first night it was a touch stuffy until we cracked the window (which brought in a bit of street noise that we ended up finding a fun part of the holiday to hear the different accents from the street below) - but this is a very minor issue because on the other nights we didn’t need to open the window at all, we just didn’t for a fun holiday thing.

Not a lot of ventilation (disclaimer here - I might be used to things in Aus and this might be perfectly normal in other countries) for instance, no fan above the shower or in the bathroom for the steam.

Very clean (which is my number one priority in a hotel), surprisingly spacious room, gorgeous vintage aesthetics, free coffe/tea in the kitchen. Bathroom was also perfectly clean and beautiful. Friendly workers and a very peaceful building. Perfect location - 10/15 minute walk away from everything. I love vintage design, so the interior definitely exceeded my expectations! I loved the lighting in my room as well - very cozy. Overall I'm very happy with my decision to stay there and the room was exactly what I was hoping for.

The windows and walls let in most of the noise from the street (as do all old houses!), so make sure to bring ear plugs. Fortunately the bed itself was very comfortable and clean. The furniture itself could use some refurbishing (replacing the textile on the chairs and fixing the old doors of the room and the big cupboard), but I personally wasn't bothered by it. There was also a stain on the carpeted floor that could be removed.

The person who greeted us at the bar was exceptionally helpful. He also gave us a discount card for Q-park Setanta, which was useful and saved a lot of money for overnight parking of our hire car. It was mid afternoon when we arrived at O'Neill's, so it was quiet, but he took us outside, through the accommodation entrance and all the way up to the room. He explained thing on the way. We had late lunch in the pub afterwards, then dinner later. There was table service and the staff were very good. We were able to walk to the National Museum, St Stephens Green and lots of other places from O'Neill's as it was well located.

The nearest secure parking was about 19 minutes drive away around the one-way system and about 12 minutes' walk back. However, I was able to park in a loading bay on Shaw Street, around the corner from the pub entrance to unload bags then to load them into our car after driving it back from the car park the next morning, so it was no hassle really.

The room had a nice character, with a big mirror and a fireplace. Because the pub was closed, it was absolutely silent at night. The dining room had a variety of teas to choose from. It was a good stay after a long flight. The room was very clean. I was informed that there was no breakfast at the hotel but recommended to go to Bread 41 Lab. I think it is one of the best bakeries I have found in Europe! It is just 50 meters away from the hotel.

There was no human connection (i.e., no reception due to the renovations)! I punched some numbers to get into the hotel and met noone during my stay!

Comfortable beds, spacious room, staff with great customer service helped us with our luggage to our room, great food recommendations (Had delicious savory pastries at Bread 41 and an even better and larger hot buffet breakfast at The Trinity Hotel - just told them we were staying at O'Neills and they gave us a good price for their full breakfast). The location is great as it's near the city center but far enough away from the noisy pubs that we could sleep soundly. Hot shower and daily housekeeping. Clean room and move they offer tea and coffee down the hall.

O'Neill's is at a great location -- easily walkable from O'Connell Street Bridge in the City Centre and also accessible by bus. The Express Bus to Dublin Airport stops just a block or so down Pearse Street. The rooms exceeded my expectation. High ceilings and beautiful old architectural features. The pub itself is a nice old fashioned pub, with snug areas and smaller rooms and a good atmosphere. Convenient to Grafton Street, Trinity, Stephens Green, etc.

Nothing I didn't like -- but I would remind those considering booking that there is no lift in this building. So you have to haul your luggage upstairs and downstairs. The staff provided generous help with my bags, so not a big deal in any case. Just something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues -- and I'm sure the staff will be glad to help.

Great location, it is just opposite to Trinity College. Room was spacious and very comfortable. We loved the common kitchen where we could have a tea or coffee. Dining possibility just downstairs in the pub with very nice food and drinks. We received very detailed information before arrival on how we get the keys and about breakfast/dining option. This was very helpful and appreciated.

Nothing really. You need to consider that there is a pub downstairs and another one on the other corner so it is not a very quite place but for us it was not disturbing at all. No music just people enjoying themselves.
