Our location was excellent. Within walking distance of Trinity College, to city centre and shopping. Could also walk to Jameson whiskey tour. Dunlin Express and Hop On Hop Off stopped outside our hotel. Our hotel was lovely! It's like we stepped back in time with the fireplace (decoration only) and the furnishings. We were in a twin room and had tons of room. The tea room was beside our room, so we popped in every morning to make our tea. Has everything you need to make your tea or coffee. They would leave pastries sometimes, and you leave your dishes in the sink. They clean them up. The pub next door has great food and friendly staff. The gentleman who checked us in took our luggage upstairs for us. It was a wonderful experience, and if l were lucky enough to visit Dublin again, l would stay here.
This isn't about the hotel but to the people making reservations. Read their website. They let you know they don't serve breakfast, but down the street is a lovely bakery. There was no air conditioning, but we were there at the beginning of June, and we left the window open. It was all good. They do provide a fan. They are on a busy street so it can be a bit noisy. Check their website to see their hours. If you want to eat at the pub you can plan around their opening hours. The shower stall is tight.

Our reception at the pub was friendly and prompt. Located within a few minutes' walk of the Temple Bar and Trinity College area, with many buses stopping in the one-way Pearse street, as well as the Dart train station just 5 minutes down the street, were all most convenient. The tea and coffee provided, as well as the fridge in the dining room, were very welcome, with a lovely outlook on the street. Delicious breakfast pastries were available at Bread 41 next door, so there is a definite saving on eating breakfast out. The room was spacious, the carpet and bathroom spotless. Daily cleaning was done. The noise of the street was not heard when the windows were shut. The beds were comfortable. Having an amazing 18th-century pub downstairs for food and drinks was great. Staying in the historical Michael Collins room was an added bonus! I would definitely stay at O'Neill's if ever visiting Dublin again.
Maybe cheaper prices for drinks in the pub, but I realise this is Dublin! Some live traditional music in the pub would be great.

The location was great, and we loved being over the pub. The staff was very friendly and the food at the pub was excellent. Everything was clean and it was really nice having access to the kitchenette/dining room. The beds were very comfortable and in-room decor and amenities were perfect! It was a tiny bit noisy being right on the main street and next to the tram line, but we kind of expected that. It wasn't loud enough that it kept us awake or woke us up, but wouldn't be great for light sleepers (though I think you'll get some level of noise anywhere in the city). We didn't have an issue with the two flights of stairs, but it might be tricky for those with mobility issues. We would definitely stay here again!

Our room was clean and quiet. I really liked the common room/kitchen set up. My flight arrived early in the morning, so I was able to make myself a cup of coffee, and get my bearings, before going to the nearby bakery for breakfast. I was also able to stow my suitcase in the corner.
For my taste, the room was a on the cold side; I fell asleep with the covers pulled completely over my head! Thankfully there were extra blankets in the wardrobe. There was a radiator in the room, but we could not turn it on, it seemed to be on a schedule controlled from elsewhere. That said, we never inquired about increasing the room temperature, so maybe it could have been adjusted.

Never saw/met anyone who worked at the Hotel (we checked in on a Monday, & check-out was just leaving key cards in a box), but our room was tidied when we were out for the day, and we heard other guests being checked in by friendly-sounding staff. Room was lovely, beds super comfy (but bring earplugs if you're not used to street traffic as the road is busy all night). Shower had good water-pressure and heaps of hot water! Location was superb! So easy to walk to shops, post office, Temple Bar area and Trinity College (5 minute walk to The Book of Kells Experience). Also, really liked having our own door code for entry to the Hotel: felt nice and secure.
We arrived on a Monday night, around 8:00. No bars/restaurants were still serving food and, unfortunately, the kitchen/dining area is actually just tables/chairs, a jug, a small fridge, and a sink - no cooking/re-heating facilities. Managed to find a Thai restaurant that was still delivering, though - whew! Also, no breakfast served/available on site - just tea/coffee.

O’Neills Victorian Pub is the perfect place to stay for your visit to Dublin! It is a quant townhouse with rooms above the pub and the pub serves food on certain days/times. It is within walking distance to many eateries and Starbucks (if you’re a fan). You can walk to most starting points for your booked tours too! The staff are very friendly, accommodating and professional! Thanks Gabriel for your help with our luggage:)
There was nothing to not like.

Great location. Rooms were super clean. Free tea and coffee 24x7 in dining room. Pre and post check out baggage storage. Plenty of space, tall ceilings. Comfy beds. Quiet (on the night pub was closed) no clue how loud it is otherwise. They have dispenser of body wash only.
No ac but we opened a window. A fan would have been nice. As typical there is a master plug that controls all outlets. Just forgot for awhile and thought we only had one plug. You have to walk up an entire set of stairs with luggage. Typical in Europe/B&B just fyi. No sink stopper so bring your own.

Very good location, nicely sized room. Perfect facilities. Works brilliantly for a group for friends and could work for families. Not much else to say as everything worked for why we booked the hotel.
No major complaints with the hotel itself, just be aware with the location trains run late, mostly till around 12am. Went into the hotel expecting this though so it wasn't a huge issue. Just a small note the single bed may be an issue for individuals on the taller side (In a 1 double 1 single room). I am 5'7 and there was only a couple of inches room at the bottom. Should be fine for anyone under 6 just nice to be aware of this.

Excellent location. Spacious and clean room Lovely building and staff Secure The kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities is a fantastic touch and we utilised that every morning I would definitely stay here again, it exceeded my expectations
The building is old and so you do hear other people in other rooms and it can be quite loud at 4am/5am if they've been out! But, there is nothing anyone can do about that and it can happen anywhere. It didn't detract from the lovely stay we had

My friend and I extended our stay from 3 to 4 nights and the hotel was kind enough to accommodate us by moving bookings around so we could stay in the same room for all nights. Was much appreciated! The staff at the downstairs pub were super friendly and served me the most delicious potato leek soup which nicely balanced out my prior night’s overconsumption of Guinness! 🍻😊 We were also delighted to discover that the stop for the bus to the airport for only €9 is just diagonally across the street and runs about every 15 minutes or so. Bonus!
