Clean, comfortable. Polite staff. Excellent breakfast.

€100 damage deposit added to cost of room on check in without anotice. I have stayed in multiple hotels all over Ireland including in Dublin and it was the first time I have encountered this practice. Also, warnings in the room that any damage or cleaning beyond the norm will result in a fee of €1000 I thought was excessive. The €100 was refunded immediately on checkout but I feel that prior notice of this fee should be given and to maybe have a little faith as I imagine the vast majority of your clientele engage in appropriate behaviour.

The staff were very nice and welcoming every time my husband and I came and went from the hotel. My husband had the breakfast and said it was a really good breakfast. The rooms are clean and very modern.

The only thing I didn’t like is the silly window that they have in the shower wall that is also in the sleeping area. It’s a frosted glass but anytime I needed to use the bathroom, in the middle of the night, as soon as I turned the light on, it illuminated the entire sleeping area. The light will disturb the other person if you come with someone. They really need to seal that window up. It makes absolutely no sense and you can see the silhouette of the person in the shower so if you’re with someone in a platonic relationship, be aware of that too.

Very cool hotel and friendly staff.

The cooked breakfast was was pre- plated in small rectangular almost ramekin type plates. Therefore you had no individual choice of hot breakfast. The plates had been sat on the hot plate for a while which meant the food was only warm - not hot. At this price point a buffet hot breakfast should be offered.

What was exceptional here was the staff. Vanessa, Damian and particularly the lovely Amadou were the concierges of your dreams, helpful, kind, always trying to improve our experience (and always succeeding). The king bed was juicy! the robes in the room were great. Having laundry facilities on site for guests was a great help too. The 7th floor aerie with the bar and reception were terrific.

I didn’t eat the breakfast but it looked plentiful.

The property was clean and fresh, and you could tell that the housekeeping staff were highly qualified, no a single speck of dust or lint anywhere which I applaud them for that. The beds were immaculately made and everything was arranged really well. The staff were really nice and approachable, they made sure to greet everyone with a smile and were on the line to help anytime I called them. The water pressure was great and there was hot water all day long, plenty of towels, bathrobes, soaps, etc. The blinds were great, I usually wake up when the sunshine comes in through my window, but in Aloft, that didn’t happen which was good for me to get a good night sleep.

I would’ve liked if there was breakfast included, because of the rate I paid. Also, I could hear the guests that were next door, it’s either because of the thin wall or maybe they were loud. There is a deposit charge that I didn’t know of, so it would be better to let people know what to expect.

Property is very nice, perfect location for us, wonderful views from 7th floor lobby, bar and breakfast area. King room was clean and comfortable. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were great.

The first night our booking of a king room, a month ahead, was NOT honored. We were put in a queen room with full on hospital room bathroom. Tiny sink about 24” off ground, no counter area, shower in corner w drain in floor, just terrible. On top of this there were endless plumbing problems and we had to brush our teeth in the lobby! All the while the hotel was still advertising King rooms for that day and the next!! I believe we were targeted by the jerk at check in because we had reserved through Booking.com and had a much better price than what they were asking that week. The next morning a wonderful staff member switched us to an excellent King room for the remainder of our four day stay.

The hotel’s location is excellent, with a beautiful rooftop bar

We didn’t get the room we had reserved, and only after 2 nights were we moved to the one we selected. On the second to last day, we found the rooftop bar, which is a shame they didn’t provide that information at the reception. On the third day, we didn’t get any coffee or milk with the machine in the room.

Great location, you can walk everywhere or take a bus to all the sights, the rooms are comfortable and cozy, the view of the St. Patrick's cathedral is lovely and the view from the hotel bar on the 7th floor is fantastic. The staff is super nice and I absolutely recommend eating at the Tenters gastropub on the ground floor, great drinks, fabulous food and outstanding hospitality by the staff

Only thing that was a pain was the sliding door of the bathroom, if you were small or an elderly person it would have been impossible to open and close them properly

Good location for the event I was attending - clean modern and very welcoming and helpful staff. Pub restaurant was serving a good selection of very tasty food and drink.

The window blinds are a bit of a faff and the soundproofing wasn’t great. You could sometimes hear other people winding blinds up and down and going to the toilet which wasn’t so great.

modern building in a quiet setting and opposite a distillery. very walkable to the dining and shopping district and most importantly walkable for the sights like the St Patrick Cathedral and Guinness Storehouse. The highlight is the reception floor with the bar and waiting area with large windows and magnificent views. The drinks were reasonably priced and free coffee too 👌

Getting there from the airport, the only real option with luggage is cab which is $$ we caught the airport shuttle to Dublin City but still had a 15min walk to the hotel with luggage. A shuttle from the city centre to the hotel would be good.
