We really liked the friendly staff all round who were very helpful. The rooms were comfortable and a decent size. Breakfast was good, and the parking was spacious. The hotel was very easy to find given the hotels written instructions.

The view from the window on what looked like the kitchen room with all the kitchen outlets and more was somewhat depressing. Our room also had an odd musky smell the whole time despite having the windows wide open. This was mentioned to staff to have checked out when we left. The TV remote wasn't working. The second day at breakfast, the coffee was VERY weak. Apart from that, it was a very pleasant stay.

We were attending an event at Kilmainham Hospital so it made sense to pick a hotel on that side of the city but due to demand this hotel was a little further out than I had hoped. However it proved to be an excellent choice as it was on a bus route. Having got a Leap card it made getting around super easy. The country park across the road was really pretty to walk in & we saw some amazing wildlife. The staff were really friendly and helpful & the food was good. Our room was simple but very clean & I appreciated the tea & coffee making equipment.

The hotel is close to a main road so with the window open it could be noisy. The room did have double glazing which stopped the noise but meant it could get quite warm.

The hotel was clean, and the room was well stocked. The front of staff was extremely polite.

The service at breakfast was quite poor. they didn't care about how it looked on the plate. The beans were dripping off the plate, and the scrambled egg had more water on the plate than egg. They were more concerned with chatting amongst themselves.

The location of the property was excellent for our visit to the area. The staff were very friendly, efficient, helpful and very polite.

Everything was great but the bathroom especially the shower was a little cramped but it worked fine. The breakfast was adequate but basic. It would have been nice to have a little more choice. Staff at breakfast were lovely and friendly.

Staff were brilliant, very helpful.

I somehow didn't book breakfast when booking the room. Not thinking this was a problem, I asked for charges to my room for the evening meal as per usual. However, when presenting myself for breakfast, I was told that was not booked and that I needed to pay there and then as it could not be charged to the room even though I had given pre-authorisation for charges. So, not an ideal start to the day. The other niggle was the close proximity to the main road. Even with windows closed, the sound of traffic percolated well into the late evening. The hotel cannot really help being where it is. I suspect it was there before the road was built anyway, but some better glazing would certainly help, or maybe I request a quiet room next time.

We were warmly welcomed by the staff, they are very friendly. Later, we went to the restaurant for dinner, and the atmosphere, staff, and food were all perfect and beautifully presented. The breakfast were great too. I enjoyed my stay at the Lucan Spa Hotel, a very comfortable and calm place, beautifully designed.

My friend, it didn’t like having to climb the stairs to our bedroom on the second floor. I think there might be a lift, but I didn’t ask about it. Next time I visit, I’ll be sure to check it out properly.

I loved everything, the staff are fantastic, the food omg what can I say it was brilliant The breakfast staff went out of their way to make sure you were well looked after. Dinner was to die for, enough to to feed a family on one plate. I was home from Australia for a wedding and holiday, after 9 years, I could not have booked a better hotel. Well done to everyone 💗💗💗💗💗💗🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I loved everything

Arrived at Dublin from London for a wedding on a Saturday with a friend. Friendly staff, although our initial allocated room was cold and the staff on the night shift was prompt in changing it at our request. We had a bigger and a warmer room. Thank you.

Cold room initially, heating in the room was not working. The radiators were cold, heating was not coming through the pipes. The staff provided us with a portable heater but it was taken time to warm up. It is advisable to check the rooms properly including the radiators, before guests' arrival and not to rely on the central heating. This will prevent changing rooms' request.

the hotel had a rustic estate type feel to it. which we liked. the staff were really warm and helpful. the location is a little out of Dublin centre but we chose it in purpose. plenty of parking space and great tasty breakfast buffet in the morning. all in all great value for money

there was some odd metallic damp smell in the room not sure if it was due to moisture being old building and not great bath moisture exhaust
