The property is a beautiful historical mansion surrounded by greenery. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. A special mention goes to the staff of the hotel, whether at the reception, the bar or the restaurant. Truly gentle and pleasant personnel.

The limited catering and gastronomic selection of the property is in contrast with the place. Lack of choice and limited availability of the restaurant service.

The place is incredible, a castle as the name says it, and the room was excellent, super comfortable and spacious. Large parking area. The price, for Dublin, is really good.

Breakfast could be served in different options, to allow for a cheaper option. The bathroom does not have windows if that is something you care about.

I booked through B.Com & when I arrived at hotel had to give 150.00eur as a security deposit which I didn't realise I needed to do but was told it would be put back on my card next morning I agreed to this as I was getting it return next morning I checked out gave my credit card for refund was told it was all sorted only to find this was not so I did ring hotel to ask about refund & was told it takes 2/3 days for refund to go through my account ? The security deposit was more than the room. I was disappointed & not sure about my return .

This property was exceptional, the grounds and gardens were lovely for a little walk and for the view. the interior of the castle was decorated to suit the castle perfectly. I enjoyed the food I had for dinner at Jim's Bar and the staff made the experience even better - they were very helpful and immensely polite. The room I stayed in wasn't in the castle, it was in the court yard. The room was spacious, clean and had everything needed to enjoy chilling out. I couldn't recommend Finnstown Castle Hotel enough!

The staff aren't friendly, not one smile or hello from anyone who served us from the time we arrived untill we left.

Beautiful decor, charming grounds, luxurious property - we loved staying here, it was relaxing, private, and had that ‘feel good’ air about it, we would love to return.

There was honestly nothing we did not like about Finnstown Castle Hotel. On arrival, we met the general manager, who is an absolute gentleman - thank you for your warm, friendly welcome Barry. On Saturday evening, we had a drink in the hotel bar, and the lady there was so helpful and friendly. I forgot to ask her name but her attention to detail, and customer care was excellent. Thank you!

Huge bedroom for a great price, the shower was lovely. The room was cold but warmed up quickly with the heater.

It was VERY noisy. I was woken once or twice by a loud slamming door. Also, there's no elevator and I had big heavy bags with me. I had to check in at reception and then leave the building to walk in the rain to another building where my room was.
