We stayed in the White Stables in the Tipperary Suite, it was absolutely stunning to the free standing bath to the tropical rainwater showers. The bed was amazing and so comfortable, we got the turn down service and we had a little heat shaped bag of Lavender 🪻 inside shutters and when they were opened you could hear the water feature on the Lilly Pond. Dinner in the Mill Restaurant was out of this world I got the beef, my partner got the duck so succulent. The Breakfast next morning in the Orangery was amazing, several types of Juices I went for the detox one which tasted of ginger, poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, spinach, Rashers, sausages., then we had pastries pain au chocolat, scones, toast, their famous Guinness bread, tea/ coffee prior to this we had fruit salad with Natural yogurt. The facilities were amazing in the Thermal Valley, Hot Tubs, Saunas, And the cold water bucket shower 🚿 afterwards if you dare. Pity it was only 1 night, we cannot wait to return with our Fur Baby Hugo.

It's really beautiful and quaint, very peaceful. The rooms are amazing it reminds me of a film set but without the chaos. The staff are fantastic and the food and facilities are incredible. Great place to relax and unwind. We were celebrating a special anniversary and they had a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge at the suite on arrival. We received a complimentary dessert after dinner which was a lovely touch.

It's very expensive but you get what you pay for

Had a lovely stay but when we arrived we we’re booked for lunch in the mill, there was no one there to greet us, we walked down to the restaurant and we’re told to wait upstairs, someone then took our name and told us to wait then someone else asked our name and told us to wait. Eventually we we’re shown to our table. The rest of our stay was lovely but we went to the thermal village and there were no towels or bottled water available but we weren’t told to take them from our rooms.

Everything about Cliffs of Lyons is phenomenal. The location is private, quiet and set on a massive plot of land which allows for walks, bike rides, etc. The price of stay if very affordable for what you are getting. The staff was more than accommodating and always there to meet any demand. The rooms were spectacular and I highly recommend the Thermal Spa. I can't say enough about how great Cliffs of Lyons is.

This is very much a one off, but there was some work being done on or near the thermal spa and a pump or mechanical noise kept us awake throughout our first night. With that said, the staff were extremely helpful in listening to us the next morning and moved us right away. Again this is most likely a one off scenario

I loved the originality of the estate and the stunning gardens especially the fabulous hydrangeas Also the location of the restaurant is stunning and the food memorable . Breakfast is served in an amazing orangery and is just perfect

I was not happy with the first room we were allocated - too dark and far away from reception -but the receptionist changed it quickly to a beautiful room overlooking the river with its own balcony

Lovely location in the middle of nowhere, yet 35 minutes from Dublin airport. So peaceful. Three different eating options. We had dinner at the Mill which was great. Room very comfortable. Bed was a dream. Right on the Grand Canal for endless walks or bike rides. Very charming and full of character.

The most stunning place I’ve been to! It felt like we were in a little fairytale village! The grounds are gorgeous! The breakfast was delicious with so much choice and in a beautiful room! The spa was pure bliss, so relaxing and cosy. My therapist Claire was exceptional, she went above and beyond! Thank you again. The lady at reception (so sorry I can’t remember her name, she had blonde hair) was so friendly and made our experience even better, she also upgraded us for my sisters birthday which was such a lovely gesture and made our stay even more special! The on-site cafe was amazing, so handy to have whenever we fancied a hot drink and bite to eat. You never needed to leave the grounds as it had everything you could need. It’s was honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in and I can’t wait to come back!!!

Amazing property with loads of character and charm. It's absolutely like something out of a fairytale. Friendly and helpful staff who couldn't seem to do enough. Be sure to try the Village Thermal - hot tubs and sauna set in a lush, hidden garden. The location is awesome, too - close to Dublin, yet you feel so far away.

The only criticism was that the breakfast was massive, far too much than we could eat. It felt wasteful when we couldn't finish all that they gave us. There was also some sort of water issue in our building and the pipes were smelly, but the staff was on it right away.

For the price point, I thought this hotel was super value, we enjoyed the peat bath and sauna experience and a massage. The catering and service was excellent, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner, all from different dining areas, the old mill feature is fantastic. The rooms are so tastefully designed along with the grounds and all the facilities. We will be back.

We had a 2 bed cottage which was spacious and looked beautiful. All staff we talked too were very helpful ( very young) and when asked said it was a great place to work which helped with the atmosphere. You need to give yourself time to stroll around the gardens and take it all in. Breakfast was excellent.

The quirks of the old building means that there was only a small shower room to share between 2 bedrooms( we had been told this and were prepared) however the door was only a sliding door that was difficult to close fully. Small maintenance issues which I felt let them down. The receptionist thanked us for highlighting these niggles on checkout.
