The hotel is in a great location - 5 minute walk from Heuston station, Luas line. Walkable distance to the Phoenix park. We were in Dublin for an event, so didn't plan on spending much time in the hotel anyway. It was absolutely perfect - friendly staff, a nice clean room to get ready before we headed out. The bed was very comfortable for the short time I spent in it. The breakfast selection was small, but when you need sunglasses indoors in the morning, you can't be too fussy. It was certainly better than queueing in a shop deli! I would definitely stay here again.
Just an observation as someone who does occasionally travel on her own - the locking mechanisms on the door could do with beefing up. I know some women travelling solo do like to see a good chain lock or something to give them that little bit of extra security/peace of mind.

Good location, easy access to Heuston station, couple of pubs next door which do nice food and music. Hotel receptionist friendly and helpful allowing us to drop our bags before our stay and leave afterwards. Room a good size, bed comfy, would stay in this area again as not too busy and easy to get to attractions

👥 Profile: Couple in a relaxing trip to Dublin for a few days. 👍 Reasons for this choice: price, proximity to city center, no breakfast included since we prefer to try different places everyday 🛏️ Room was very compact but had everything I needed 🌡️ Warm and cozy, didn’t need the heater even in November 🚿 Nice bathroom with a nice shower—adjustable height and perfect water temperature 🧹 Effective cleaning service 👨💼 Friendly and helpful reception staff, especially one very nice guy 🕒 24-hour reception for added convenience 📍 Perfect location with Phoenix park mere meters away, a lua stop (heuston) close bye and cozy shops open nearby during the day. 💲Comparing with others this was one of the most affordable options so we find the price fair
🏚️ The building is charming but quite old, so some rooms may be noisier than others. 🚪 Our room was on the ground floor under the stairs, and unfortunately, we could hear every step and creak from guests going up and down. 🛌 If you're a light sleeper, I recommend requesting a room away from the stairs. ♿ This place seems to provide minimal requirements for accessibility, for example while the building has a lot of stairs, it also has a lift.

Staff were amazing and so polite! Loved them! The receptionist and the lady serving breakfast, Well done. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. I slept like a queen!
Well, cannot say this is the hotel's fault. Some old gentleman in one of the upstairs bedrooms fell asleep and left the sink tap open four hours without realizing. Nevertheless, the hotel was filled with dripping water all over and it looked like a scene from a horror movie. To be honest, that was pretty cool! Except the smell of chlorine that filled the space. Kudos to the staff who had do deal with this and who apologized in advance to us for the inconvenience. I know this is totally not your fault. They were even ready to give us a new room in case the water started dripping on our faces as we slept. Luckily, the water didn't reach our bedroom.

we left very early to catch a bus to the airport, so didn't have breakfast. The room was comfortable, and the location was excellent. We came in by train from Cork and left by Dublin Express Bus to the Airport. Heuston Station for both the train and bus were were just a short walk away. Easy to do, even in the early morning. We also walked to the Guinness Facility. The staff recommended Nancy Hands Pub for dinner. It was excellent and had live music early.
Wished we had a longer stay to take in the Phoenix Park.

The location was great, cheap and cheerful, just somewhere to lie our heads after travelling to Dublin for the Dublin zoo wildlights.
We stayed in this hotel last year and noticed the radiator in room 329 was broken, staff quickly brought in plug in radiators and all was well. However this year we booked two rooms for our stay and one group of us were in room 329 again, I was surprised to see the radiators were still not working, a year later. We did not bother contacting reception as we were exhausted after our day out and were all quickly asleep, however I think it should be said. Also the hotel does not provide parking which has an inconvenience I had to search and pay for parking after a long day of driving to Dublin which was not ideal.

My ferry from Holyhead was cancelled and I arrived at 02h30; evening reception made check in really stress free (I also had phoned). Booking a taxi to go to the station next morning was organised efficiently. I was only in hotel for a few hours so hard to say too much else.
The breakfast served its purpose but was basic. Room slightly on expensive side but I appreciate it is approaching busy season. Morning receptionist did not speak or understand English very well but she did make every effort to be helpful.

Our room was spacious, comfortable & clean. The bathroom was larger than others we have experienced in Ireland; a refreshing change. 24 hour reception was helpful for our late arrival & returning late from day trips. Everything is well maintained. It was near the beautiful Phoenix Park; we enjoyed seeing deer feeding on a foggy morning. It was a comfortable 25 minute walk along the Liffey River to the Temple Bar area- without the price tag. 🫶☘️🫶
Maybe a broader breakfast menu would have been enticing; but not essential. Overall very good value for money

The room was really comfy, clean and well equipped. The guys at the reception were amazing, super polite and always available whenever you need a hand with sth - they also let us store our luggage after check out - The location is good as it's basically around the corner from Heuston Train Station.
It's not the closest to the city centre as you have to walk a little bit to reach it but you have the metro as well as some bus' stop near the hotel to reach downtown in no time.

Great location: the Heuston train station is a 7-minute walk away. Other places in a walking distance: nice parks (Phoenix Park, Croppies Memorial Park), cafés, fast food restaurants, convenience stores, the Guiness Storehouse (20 minutes of walk). After check-out, we were allowed to leave our luggage at the 24-hour reception, and pick it up later, for free.
The building was like a labyrinth: we had to walk through quite a few long corridors to reach our room, and we had to remember where it was, because the wall signs were not 100% correct. The walls were thin. We did not buy the optional breakfast, because we thought it was too basic and not worth the price. There are plenty of cafés nearby, with very nice breakfast options - we opted for one of them. We did not mind any of the above, as we were only staying for 1 night.
