Recently refurbished, the room had a light, airy feel to it. The breakfast was made up of a good range of products, which should suit all tastes. The bar is comfortable. The hotel is situated at the western end of the lively, central area which features many bars and eateries. There is a pub right next door which has traditional Irish music, but at no time were we aware of the sound unless we stepped out onto the pavement.

Only a couple of minor irritations: There were no hooks on the back of the bathroom door to hang a dressing gown or washbag. Also, although there was one in the bedroom, it would have been nice to have a second waste bin in the bathroom.

Comfort, courtesy and attention of the staff. We expected a basic three-star at the 89 euro room-only price and got a modern well appointed room, and good service. We'll remember this for another date. Breakfast selection was good too. Location is opposite the Dublin City Civic Offices by Christchurch, well away from the noise of Temple Bar. Two parking places on the street might be lucky for a drop off.

Ideally they could provide a kettle and mugs in the breakfast room for people who like real tea. You can't make Barry's tea with the hot water from the machine that is made for herbal tea, it's not hot enough. And on the booking form, move the final checkboxes to ABOVE the signature box, I could not see them at first (expecting signature to be the end) and thought that the form did not work.

Lovely staff in a small hotel that is within walking distance of the core of Dublin. Easy to access tourist-y things like walking tours, if that's your thing. If not, you can quickly find all the shops, pubs and restaurants you could want. I gave it a 9 as I think it will deserve it once the renovations are complete (see below).

Renovations tarnished our experience, right down to flushing the toilet. A shame, as it appears to be a really nice boutique hotel. Additionally, we had to park in a parking building that was a few blocks away, with only a bit of a discount to that cost. This is better suited to people who are looking to walk to/from the Temple Bar district.

The location is perfect, right between Temple Bar and Christchurch, but hidden from real busy noise. The vast majority of things are within walking distance. The room was small but clean. Mind you, they seemed brand new as if we were the first or near first people to stay in them. The shower and bathroom were excellent, stylish, clean, and did what it was supposed to. Staff were helpful and friendly. I'd definitely consider it again. It was also great value, and considering location, it was super value. If you're asking, then yes, I'd recommend it.

We had no view. Room 107, you can't open curtains as people could look directly in. Our heating seemed stuck on, but staff tried to fix it, but the room was so hot. The space between desk and bed was small, and the beautiful trendy chair was annoying to have to move and squeeze by, but honestly, these are first world problems it was a nice spot, really nice spot.

Location is excellent, about 2 mins to Christchurch. We were heading to a gig in Vicar St and it was less than 10 mins away. Room had everything you'd need and was spotlessly clean and had a reasonable price. We have stayed here a number of times and always been happy.

The noise of people talking in the corridor which started about 7am. We were on 1st floor and heard female and males voices. From conversations they beloved to staff and kept going on and off til about 9.30. If they were doing work/renovations in hotel we would have preferred to be warned in advance. We had never experienced this before when staying here

Great location and easy to get to by airport bus or taxi. Very close to Temple Bar but in a peaceful location. The lady that did our check in was very friendly. A lift. Clean , generous sized room and bathroom , we were in a triple bedroom. Good shower. Our room was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet even with the windows open. Hairdryer and safe in room.

No fridge, room was very hot and the fan supplied was not great. We wedged our door open to allow the air to flow through. Towels are a tad on the small side.

The location is definitely the strongest point of this hotel. It is close to everything! It is very close to Temple Bar (which is nice when you want to go fast to bed after a night out/restaurant). We never had to walk more than 15 min to reach all the things we wanted to visit. The staff is also super friendly! Check in can be done at any time (we arrived at midnight) without any problem. The room was very spacious.

Although its location (in a quiet street) in Temple Bar is amazing, it also comes with a disadvantage: it can be loud during the night when partying people go back home. We slept with the windows open since it was warm. I cannot judge when windows are closed. The bathroom is not the most practical. The shower head of the bath/shower cannot be moved. The sink has 2 faucets (cold vs hot water) so it is not possible to have a specific water temperature. In addition, the faucets are placed very closely to the sink edge so that it is impossible to use the faucet without having water everywhere.

I stayed here last minute after an issue with another hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised. The location is excellent, very central and convenient for exploring Dublin. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, which made a big difference after a stressful day. The room was comfortable and clean, and the price was fair for a last-minute booking, although a bit high considering what’s included. Overall, a solid option if you’re looking for a well-located place with good service in Dublin.

no cons, everything was ok

I really liked this hotel, and definitely would return. It was comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly and the location was wonderful. I believe if I am going somewhere and spending your hard earned €, I should be treated as a guest. This hotel did. The hotel where my friends stayed (much more expensive) did not. The down side is that the building itself is aging. If you like shiny bells and whistles instead of comfort, you won’t like this hotel.

I arrived at the hotel having booked in on line. Painless experience I have to say. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel smelled lush.. I asked for a rm change as I didn't want a rm opposit the lift. This was done with no fuss. Went to the room, it was clean and comfortable lovely coffee machine. Phoned down for a hairdryer as the one in the rm didn't work. The receptionist arrived with replacement, the original was working but I was not using it properly. All was done with a smile and very helpful. The bed was very comfortable! I was more than happy with my stay. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Only slight down side was the eggs at breakfast reminded me of those sweet eggs because they had been pre fried and had been in ban~ Marie for some time but for 14.95e I think it was ok. The coffee was gr8 as was the coffee in the room.
