We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property was beautiful, with a charming and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Our room was exactly what we wanted—comfortable, stylish, and well-equipped. The highlight for us was the little balcony, which offered a perfect view of Dublin. It was the ideal spot to relax and enjoy the city's skyline. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay even more special. For my boyfriend's birthday, they surprised us with complimentary glasses of Prosecco at the hotel bar, which was such a lovely gesture. The location was perfect for us as well, as we planned on spending most of our time in the Temple Bar area, and it was just a short walk away. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Dublin!

Location excellent.Staff very accomodating and attentive.Loved cocktail bars. Clean comfortable room but not worthy of being called a suite.I changed booking from Gresham to Clarence as a treat for my mum. This was apparently an upgrade on arrival !!! Would book again but unfortunately would need to lower my expectations regarding rooms. Mum very pleased with it.So that's main thing😏

Despite being upgraded to suite ,which my mum was delighted with, size of room and tired decor let it down. Also cracked sink and tiles in bathroom. Not acceptable. I stayed here several years ago and the room and bathroom was phenomenal.Definitely worthy of suite title. This room was not. While downstairs was outstanding the quality and pricing of some rooms needs re assessed. Feel The Clarence has spent money on upgrading downstairs and rooms don't match this.

The room was beautiful and very spacious, gorgeous interior with a scalloped shaped headboard old fashioned accessories and an art deco feel. The location is right in the middle of city centre making everything easily accessible by foot. Fantastic lobby area that has a gorgeous pop of colour, trendy bar and smells divine with their choice of candles or diffusers they have chosen.

Everything was fantastic... maybe a mirror in the bedroom area but their was a full length one in the sitting room area and the bathroom so it was ok to meander in and out whilst getting ready, really only a minor observation.

Gorgeous decor and design throughout the hotel and room I was given. Really impressive staff at reception. Laid back, quietly efficient and good vibes. Large bed in room was fantastic and spacious room I was given with terrace overlooking Temple bar was a real surprise. Great coffee machine in room too. Loved the large antique bathroom sink and power shower. And the big oak doors have a reassuring close on outside corridor noise.

Small tv high on wall - maybe just that room as stayed in hotel in past and don’t remember that in other rooms - but not overly important as hardly watched it. Nothing hotel can do but temple bar venues can get noisy late on Thursday till 2am (midnight Wednesday) but the generous 12pm checkout compensates and is perfect. There was a generator noise from outside maybe from temporary works going on.

We got a rally agreeable price on this stay for two nights so it was worth the outlay to stay somewhere so nice and so welllocated. The room was lovely, clean and spacious with a nice bathroom and an amazing shower. The bar has a great atmosphere and plenty of space, there’s a. Cocktail bar attached and the dining experience is wonderful;. We had breakfast one of the mornings in a lovely, light room and we had our evening meal there too. I had a beautiful steak and my partner had a wonderful beef ragu. The location is great, there’s a cool bar with a comedy club next door and plenty of places to eat and drink within 5 minutes, the hotel is right on the water front and I’m a superb location. The staff are friendly and helpful and the location is amazing for a modern, luxurious but not fussy and obscenely expensive stay. Well worth a visit.

Overall the stay was amazing but there is no room based temperature control. I asked about turning off the heat and that helped but there was no adjustment on the radiator without tools. We opened the windows which also helped buton a Saturday night you can hear noise through the walls and the windows from the neighbouring bars and clubs.

Walking distance to all the places we wanted to visit - Trinity College, Dublin Castel, St Stephen's Green. Right on the edge of Temple Bar and we were not disturbed by any noise.

Don't think housekeeping did a proper job of checking things before our arrival. Handheld shower missing on the bath which we only realised when we put the taps on!! Situation was resolved very quickly once we reported it. On the plus side, there were plenty of towels to mop up the water.

Loved my stay at The Clarence. I had a nice room with a view on the river on my request. The staff is super friendly and nice. And I had a king size bed. And the location is amazing in the center close to temple bar district but just one minute away so we escape the noise. And I loved the nice lobby and bar to have a last drink and relax before bed after being busy tourism all day. 😁

My room was just a bit small for the price but I guess it is Dublin everything is so expensive in this town. 😅

Friendly hotel large rooms upper floors quiet for the area

the bath tub was rather old and invited to showering only. but with a curtain hanging loose , a curtain that was sucked in because of the powerful water / air draft was a little unpleasant. a small glass screen op top of the bath would be much better .. we solved it with two shoelaces between door and cabinet, keeping the curtain on tis place.

The location was perfect, right in the center of everything but on the river. Staff was amazing and had two of our three rooms ready early! They were so nice and helped us get our car parked and off we went! The hotel is beautiful and rooms were perfect and clean! Bigger than most. We came back very late one night and the bar was closed but the man at the desk jumped behind the bar and made us drinks! He was wonderful. Could not ask for better.

Nothing could have been better! Hotel and staff were outstanding.
