Lovely hotel & staff, room was perfect, great comfortable beds & clean 🤩

Just disappointed at €347 for the night & not even a breakfast in that price, when I could book it in 2 weeks time on a Friday night for €166, terrible rip off but that’s the way it is in Dublin 😢

I liked: the neighborhood, the room and bathroom, the bar, the food they serve, the kindness of the staff, the cleanliness, the garden. There are good cafes, pubs, restaurants, and pizzerias nearby. The neighborhood is quiet and not noisy at all, so you can stroll around in the evenings without worry. I'll gladly return on my first visit.

If I really had to make a comment, and I'm doing it solely to fill this box, the building could use a facelift. On the inside, however, since I'm not a fan of carpeting, if I were the owner, this would also be something I'd revisit, but again, it's subjective.

Lovely boutique hotel 5 minutes drive, 15-,20 walking from the centre of Dublin, quite near Stephens Green and busy Grafton Street. Has parking on first come first served for about 6 cars but lots of street parking around, some more pricey than others. Public transport goes right by. Quite well situated for Board Gais theatre, 10 minutes by car, Aviva Stadium or RDS for events. The National Museums all close by. A few nice squares and parks also. Reasonably close to the National Concert Hall and very well placed for Trinity College, Dublin Castle and other tourist places. The hotel is an amalgamation of old Georgian buildings and has terrific outdoor seating space to the front. It has it's own restaurant and bar (didn't use either) and all in all a good find. Sustainable soap and shampoo etc which is good and real glasses. Upstairs access by staircase so could be limiting for some but ground floor rooms available. Bar etc is on the basement level but not that far down. Room was snug but beds comfortable. TV was a bit small but adequate but not sure about the channels. Free, good speed WiFi throughout. Lady on reception was lovely on check in. Great to have bright lights to do some work, many venues just are poorly lit, this wasn't.

Was all good as travelling alone but this would be a single room, very tight for two and a bit cramped. Furniture a little jaded but that didn't bother me as such. The lights over the bed are great but way too low, very easy to hit your head, and I did! Otherwise a good, basic hotel and Id stay again.

The location is good. You can walk to central Dublin in about 15-30 minutes, depending on where you're going and the price reflects that distance. I'm a big walker so I enjoyed that. There are loads of buses, taxis and trams available as well. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We left our bags with them twice and they were very nice about it. The rooms are small but clean. We had 3 in a room and survived just fine! Hot water is good and plentiful. We were very satisfied.

The pub downstairs is dark, which is very typical of Dublin and not to my taste, but I don't think they can change that.

We chose it for the location (convenient for both UCD and downtown) and the price. The area is very nice and on several bus routes. The room was somewhat small but well laid out and most importantly the mattress was comfortable. A few too many spiderwebs in window corners, but otherwise clean. Breakfast was good, and there are several other options nearby, as well as Tesco, etc.

We had some difficulty communicating with the lady at the front desk. Perhaps English is not her primary language and ours isn't either - she had trouble understanding us (this has never happened to us before).

The location was excellent for the RDS Arena. The little beer garden area at the front gave it a lovely vibe, especially when returning from a concert.

Difficult to hairdryer your hair when closest mirror was on the open bathroom door some 20 feet away. A dressing table would have been nicer. Also for a Superior Double room, at €324 for 1 night, a fridge it would have been nice as the bedroom was stifling. Health & Safety rules-bedroom window only opened a few inches as high up. Toilet had the remnants of the previous occupier too.

The space was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very nice. The lobby was beautiful aswell. I really liked thes space outside where you had benches to sit on and also a little bar with the restaurant downstairs. It made the space feel verywelcoming and convivial.

I admit it was very hot in our hotelroom and even with the open window at night, it was pretty difficult to get fresh air in... Also the bathroom such as the toilet could use a renovation.

This is a wonderful hotel just beyond the canals ideally placed for walking or taking a bus. The place is full of charming character! The bar below is frequented by locals and hotel guests alike, not only when there is a performance. The bus 38a takes either into the center or out to UCD - just what you need.

There is precious little to improve. If pressed to mention something would suggest that the bedside light option could perhaps be less bright. All in all, we would certainly come again.

My initial room was very small and affected by the noise sounding like air-con generators. I would not have been able to sleep with that. I asked at reception if there were works around the area as I was not 100% sure it was due to generators or maybe some work in progress which may have stopped at night. It turned out it was the noise from kitchen generators. The reception staff came to investigate and immediately offered me a replacement room. I was happy with the new room and appreciated the helpful staff. Pleasant stay overall

The initial room was small and not quiet and not worth the price I paid for it. The hotel does not have a lift and that may be an issue for other guests, it was ok for me because I am active and had small luggage staying only 2 night. The rooms are a bit outdated and could do with some freshen up considering the price charged.

The location of the hotel is great. It's just far enough out from the center to be like a real neighborhood with plenty of shops close by. I had the breakfast once and it was good but I had to pay extra. The staff was super helpful. My room was quiet. The lobby was well appointed, the building in good repair and if I needed anything, the staff was quick to respond. The pub downstairs was great. I went down almost every night.

The room was quite small. It would have been nice to have a chair in the room. The closet was also tiny. I had to ask for more hangers. There was never any annoying problem and if I get back to Dublin, I want to stay there again.
