The hotel itself and the location are beautiful. The room was amazingly comfortable. Breakfast was super good with top quality ingredients.

Although most of the staff were friendly, many of them seemed to be doing the minimum required of them. At a hotel of this caliber, you expect people to make a bigger effort for you to be super happy, but here we didn’t get that feeling. For example, we were unable to get some fruit for one of our children because the casual restaurant was closed and were told that the only option was to get room service. It turned out to be easier to drive to the convenience store in the town next to the hotel to get a bit of fruit.

This is my second visit , the rooms are specious and clean. Amazing views , safe and relaxing Good breakfast and friendly staff

You need to consider that they have only 2 fine dining restaurant with limited options , the nearest town bray with good options , the only grocery is in the palace garden until 530pm. We ordered one time via uber eat from a place in bray The hotel should consider more options moreover although the breakfast was good but for the first time in 5 star hotel you need to pay for the omelet as additional menu order which is a free service in hotels breakfast. We were able to sit in the Terrence for bf only last day as it was closed after rain , why the hotel didnt consider adding proper cover with glass for guests to enjoy the outside views in a raining country like ireland . It is an option that can be Easley implemented

The setting of the hotel fabulous,the hotel itself gives of an air of luxury which I liked.The rooms very elequent,clean and well stocked.Parking very good and safe.Breakfast excellent I stayed at K Club next day and take a bow,they fell behind you in this area.

There was an issue with a double payment made to my credit card,I do feel reception should make sure they are aware of holding payment and collecting a payment.If I had not brought this to their attention would it have been detected 🤔.Also no changing rooms at pool area for men🤷.Menu a bit stuffy also in main restaurant and second restaurant not an option with no segregation of children.No issues with children in hotels but as with others I've stayed in segregation works extremely well for both parties.Bath could have been bigger.

We were upgraded to a suite. Really enjoyed the additional space and proximity to services and dining. Everything had been well thought out enhancing the sense of luxury and peace. Exactly what was required to rejuvenate. We would have loved to stay longer, will definitely be returning if possible. Dinner was superb and breakfast fabulous, everything you could want and more. My husband enjoyed a swim in the pool.

nothing really, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was busy at 9, however we were prewarned, and managed to get there just before the rush.

The robes are lovely and cosy and the size of the room umand bathroom is more than adequate. The hotel itself has a lovely reception area and a number of places to eat. The grounds are spectacular and walks around the estate are highly recommend. The swimming pool is lovely with a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Robes are provided at the swimming pool so you can lounge around the pool on one of the loungers. The breakfast was exceptional.. lots of options on the buffet both hot and cold. There is an additional charge for some options on a menu but there is more than enough at the buffet to please everyone. Staff are lovely and very helpful.

There were cobweb by the curtains in the bedroom and the Bedside lockers had a glass top so you could see the dirt built up underneath which couldn't be cleaned. The TV has a number of channels that simply don't work and the streaming option also didn't work so you can't log in to your own services.. would have expected better from this hotel. There is a Nespresso machine but no kettle which is a tad annoying. They do provide 2 cartons of water in the room but we ended up trying to use them in the Nespresso to make tea. The swimming pool ceiling seemed to be leaking with a large crack across it. There was also other damage and wet spots along the ceiling. Similarly in the ladies showers there was significant black mould along the ceiling.

AMAZING STAY AS ALWAYS

There is not one negative thing to say about this hotel . Me and my boyfriend recently had the pleasure of staying at Powers court for the second time . From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were delighted to receive a room upgrade with the most stunning garden views—waking up to such a serene and picturesque setting was a dream! The culinary experience was just as exceptional, with delicious food and a variety of restaurants that catered to every taste. Each meal felt like a thoughtfully curated experience, and the service was impeccable. The spa facilities are also next to none. Extremely relaxed and clean .

Fewer meal options for dinner/lunch. I would expect more meal options for a 5 star hotel and the price paid. Only 1x sauna and 1x steam room- was expecting more as this is a Spa hotel. Sink in our bathroom wasn’t working properly and we couldn’t use it. Male young waiters in the restaurant wasn’t showing happy face while serving- they might be too stressed with the work or just don’t like the job they are doing.

Immaculately maintained with beautiful decor and friendly professional staff. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious, underfloor heating in the bathroom area with twin washbasins and separate shower and loo was amazing. The food was extremely well presented and cooked to perfection both in the evening and at breakfast. The public areas were adorned with flower displays and intimate seating, so there was always a quiet place to relax in.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the resort.

The hotel is 30-40 minutes outside of Dublin and about same distance from airport. But the grounds are beautiful and if you want the experience of living in the Ireland’s countryside then this is the place. It boasts the 3rd best garden in the world. The staff was amazing. Some of the nicest, kindest and accomodating people. I can’t say enough about the front desk and concierge. Really go the extra mile. I had to wait on the phone because my luggage didn’t arrive in Dublin; the front desk told me to go to the restaurant and they would handle it. The front desk then walked ti the restaurant to get me because my presence was needed. Really more than I expected anyone to do. Also, on site restaurants and food choices are very good. The bar is excellent.

That I didn’t have more time to explore the surrounding property.

The hotel, facilities, lunch and dinner were all excellent. The only disappointment was the breakfast. It cost €28 which is fine but then it was an extra charge(€7.50) if you wanted an omelet or eggs Benedict etc...which I think is a bit cheeky considering how much you are paying. The filtered coffee, tea and cappuccino were all awful...seemed like very cheap tasting tea/coffee...as if they were all watered down. It's pretty easy to make a good cup of tea or coffee...I think they could improve on that.
