This is my 3rd visit here for the last several months. This hostel is very cute and romantic and cozy and it is located 2 kilometres from the gorgeous Lough Tay (lake) and 3-4km from the Wicklow Mountains and it is surrounded by a farm and animal (deers and sheep and horses); this hostel is ideal for hikers :) what is more, the view from the living room is amazing - onto the hills and valleys across. I definitely recommend this accommodation to anybody including families with little children and for a romantic time for couples :)

Property is in a secluded location and provides opportunity for stargazers. We stayed in a private room where room was spacious and beds were comfortable. The bathroom had everything that was needed but weirdly large (probably 1000 square feet)
The taxi to Roundwood was advertised as free in 2024 and no attempt was made to correct the assumption that it would be free in March 2025. Taxi wasn’t expensive but it was the principle that irked me. Free breakfast was very basic, to the point where it felt we were goaded into buying the Irish breakfast

We were in a family room. It's a great setup with everything we need for our stay. Our bathroom was huge. Very clean, with a lovely rural view from the communal area. We even had a young deer come and graze on the lawn. The included breakfast nice and there was an optional extra for a cooked breakfast. It's only a short drive into Roundwood for takeaways if needed.
The long driveway was very overgrown and scratched our rental car. Some of the light bulbs were blown and the light over the mirror in the bathroom didn't work.

The breakfast was delicious! The staff was friendly and the common spaces and bedroom was clean and comfortable. I also enjoyed the grounds and the ponies.
The double room was very simple, which was fine since we mostly just slept there. Because this was a hostel/B&B our bathroom was shared with other guests. This was really only inconvenient if both were in use and needed to wait. I didn’t realize how light it stayed out late into the night. The window we had didn’t have a cover so it was light in our room a lot when we slept (though probably we could’ve asked for one since there were hooks).

Great place to stay, very comfortable and spacious. Room was cosy and comfortable - dorm room (no bunk beds) looked lovely too. They have thought of everything - shuttle bus, opportunity to buy packed lunches, fried breakfast, free teas, coffee, continental breakfast Only a 30 minute walk to the Wicklow Way trail. Special thank you to Michael the taxi driver. All staff were super helpful - thank you! A relaxed, homely and well organised spot.

Lus Mor is an amazing, enchanting place to stay in the beautiful countryside!!! The location is ideal if you’re on the Wicklow Way and want to stop to sleep somewhere. The shared spaces feel so friendly and welcoming, there’s a strong sense of community and the staff were so kind and helpful!! The breakfast was absolutely amazing too. Everything was just perfect, comfortable, warm, clean and friendly. Don’t hesitate to book, you’ll feel at home! Thank you Lus Mor and the staff!!

I had to make a very late booking and the staff were delightful, the grounds were lovely and both my disabled son and his therapy dog were settled and happy. As a single mother with a disabled son, the one night stay was so lovely it felt like we actually enjoy a mini holiday. Thank you to all the staff who made us feel like a million dollars with everything. God bless you all.
There was nothing I would change or that we disliked.

I loved the comfort and being with other travelers in a beautiful great room. We met lovely folks from around Ireland and Bulvaria, Germany. The owners were so very nice. The shuttle down to the village for dinner was great and fun to eat with other guests. The room and bed were comfortable. The property is beautiful and green and the Wicklow Way is fairly close and lovely to walk on. The workers at the house were so nice. Breakfast was great...you can order a hot breakfast the night before, but the breakfast was wonderful even without the hot order. This was my favorite place we stayed at during this trip to Ireland.
Pretty much loved everything.

The property is nestled in the beautiful Wicklow countryside, it's warm, comfortable and has a lovely atmosphere. It feels like a retreat, even though I stayed in the shared dorm. The showers were clean and the whole place was spotless. I loved the rule of leaving shoes at the door! The breakfast needs to be ordered the night before, which I didn't because I checked in last minute - however, the lady still lovingly prepared me some egg the next morning so I could head to my training class with a filled belly. The other guests were kind and respectful too, which made the common area a pleasant space to chill. I'll definitely be back. (it's deep in the countryside, so you'll need a car or pre arrange transport with them to/from the nearest village).
Can't fault anything, had a lovely experience altogether
