Beautiful host who kept the highest standards of care and generosity. The place was immaculate and had a great style. Ann's kindness was super appreciated as we had breakfast too, being both vegan she prepared beautiful options for us before we arrived and it was great for everyone in the breakfast room to share fruit, yogurts and cereal options too as well as plums from her own garden (what a blessing to have had plums and banana bread). We stayed in the small twin room so it is a little tight but Ann did an excellent job getting the most from the set up and we had a great sleep and it met all our needs and within a price we could afford. Thank you very much for the love you put into hospitality as it helped us both recover from the hecticness of life. Great location to go to the Treetop experience (Est. 20e per person Inc. Slide and parking and great bins to recycle and put food waste too as well as water fountains, a tyre/mechanic 1 minute away who sorted out a slow puncture, roundwood stores is a great cafe/bakery 25 mins away by car, Centra is big in Rathdrum the local village, Coolalingo Falls worth a visit if you want to dip in a waterfall and lots of walks and nature nearby and Glendalough and Lough Tay are all not too far away.
I only recommend having earplugs when I travel always as a backup and we used the one night as there was a buzzing sound maybe from a toilet fan, not sure but it was not there the following night. Sorry I forgot to mention it to you Ann. Thanks for everything!

Ann is a wonderful host! She always responded quickly to our messages and greeted us when we arrived. The property is just outside the town of Rathdrum and it's possible to walk to town for dining. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and was so quiet at night. We had the smallest of the rooms but had enough space with plenty of shelving provided. The breakfast was fantastic with several options to choose from along with all the usual accompaniments: yogurt, fruit, cereals, tea/coffee/juice. Enjoyed her homemade soda bread and fresh omelettes. A perfect base for exploring County Wicklow!

The location for visting the wicklow Mountains was excellent, also very close to the seaside towns of Arklow and Wicklow and about 20 mins from Brittas Beach. Also very close to Glendalough, and Avoca... Ann the host, was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were compact, and had everything you could need..very comfortable, very clean...breakfast was really top notch, with more choices than customary....parking right outside the door, lovely sitting room available to guests.. WiFi, smart TV in the room ..
Nothing, the only disadvantage to us was the house was about 2 miles from the nearest small town Rathdrum where we found good food and drink, but needed to drive so no drinking, a small detail...as long as you have a designated driver or a taxi your all good to enjoy a couple of good pubs.

Ann was a wonderful hostess - accommodating and kind, since we added an adult daughter to our stay at the last moment. A great cook and baker with a varied and delicious breakfast - from fruit to fresh hot scones. The room and bath were spotless and comfortable. Hairdryer, toiletries, tea/coffee fixings, and plenty of towels were a plus. The room was cleaned and sorted for our second day. The house is lovely, bright, and very welcoming - it has a cozy sitting room as well. Plenty of off-street parking. Plenty of lovely flowers. Very convenient to Glendalough and Glenmalure, our destinations, it is located about 1 mile from the village of Rathdrum with a choice of eateries. Wicklow, a lovely town of 10 thousand, is located 20 minutes away and has everything you could need. We warmly recommend Ann to anyone and herself and Lettermore Country Home without reservation
Only reservation: We asked for a triple, so there was a single bed in addition to a double. This met our needs perfectly, but the room size is more suited for the double only.

Our room was comfortable with storage space if needed. Tea and coffee were provided and replaced on request. The breakfast was really good with lots of choices and all items were freshly cooked. Anne the owner makes her own soda bread and scones and these were a treat every morning. The location was good for getting to the Wicklow mountains for walking each day as long as you have a car.
Any problems that occur are quickly sorted out by Anne, if you let her know, such as hot water or requirements for tea and coffee in the room.

Absolutely amazing breakfast and the choice was fantastic. Best omelette I ever had. Lovely, clean and quiet place. Excellent location in the heart of Wicklow county. Great value for money with parking and outdoor area for BBQ.
You need a car as the nearest amenities aren't within the walking distance but it's not a problem as the car is needed anyway to see all the beautiful places around.

The room was spotless clean, the bed had an excellent mattress, good blinds on the window and quiet and peaceful. Anne was a great host. And she made a cracking breakfast with fresh fruit, yoghurt, brown bred, toast, different teas and a yummy Irish breakfast and other options. Plenty parking space outside.
The entrance to the house is behind a corner when you come from Rathdrum. Be careful if there is a car right behind you and slow down and indicate early.

The room was comfortable and clean and Ann rotated towels and replenished coffee and tea. The breakfast was spectacular and Ann went above and beyond. The furnishings and finishes were classy and modern and very homely. Excellent range of family games and puzzles in the lounge. Excellent location to the town without being too close to the centre.

The genuine friendlyness of the owners. I only stayed 1 night but am definitely will stay again if i have the opertunity. Lovely area even for the region. The drive towards the town is atrue joy especially when approching form the west. I can keep going, but the only way to truly experience these great hosts is to book.
What a stupid question. Nothing.

The location was good and lovely clean room. The Hosts were outstanding with good advice and very friendly. The Breakfast was also outstanding. A menu of what was on offer as a hot breakfast together with all the continental items made this one of the best I've had in all my stays in Eire. There was plenty to eat.
Nothing to add. All was good.
