We had a spacious, clean room with a large comfy bed and bath. Friendly staff and plenty of parking. Breakfast options were available downstairs at an extra cost. The attached bar was great in the evenings with live music and was showing a mix of sports. Like many others, we were there for a hike around Glendalough. We safely walked from the hotel to the Information Centre in about 30 minutes (the road has a solid pavement the whole way), and therefore avoided paying to park the car down there. Everything was convenient and we had no real complaints.
WiFi in the room would have been a bonus, but this didn't affect us on a short stay.

The room was very clean, comfortable bed, nice and quiet environment. The restaurant was very nicely decorated, delicious food (breakfast and dinner). The service was really helpful, friendly and nice people. We are very happy and definitely getting back here.
The only thing we didn't like is the public transportation, there is only 2 bus service during the day and if you don't pay a taxi or have your own vehicle is difficult to move between places near by.

Such a beautiful family run hotel. In a wooded scenic area with river running by. Had a room with lovely view of river and forest. Bbq on Saturday, excellent food in restaurant. Such friendly and helpful staff. Music in bar at night, friendly atmosphere. A great experience. Breakfast was first class. Hopefully can return soon.
Couldn't stay longer. Missed the lovely walks around the hotel as heavy rain.

The whole atmosphere at Lynhams is completely delightful and captivating. The decor is lively and unusual, big spaces for sitting around if you wish, super food for breakfast and dinner, a terrific selection at the bar, spacious rooms, and a friendly, informed staff, eager to help. The location right near Glendalough is terrific, and it far exceeded our expectations. The four of us (two couples) were completely delighted with our experience, and would happily return.

Very large bed and spacious quiet room. Nice local pub and restaurant with friendly staff and good choice of food. Irish music too+++. View on the woods and torrent. Close to the national park. 1 your drive to the airport (when you avoid traffic hours!). Roomy parking lots. Small grocary shop, with a large range of everything even off license choices.
Quite difficut to operate the shower combi-faucet especially with soapy hands!

Room with view of the river directly behind the hotel was fantastic! We kept our windows open all night for the relaxing sound of the water. The location could not be better for exploring Glendalough, the Glendalough lakes, and Wicklow mountains area in general. Very convenient! The hotel dining experiences were excellent! We had dinner and breakfast. In both cases, the food was high quality and service friendly and professional. Everyone we spoke with at the hotel was warm and informative, from the front desk to the bar and restaurant servers. A very enjoyable stay!
There wasn't much to not like. The facilities are neither new nor immaculate, but that's not at all unexpected here. If you're wanting a big, flat-screen TV in your room, and new, fancy bathroom fixtures, this probably isn't your type of hotel.

This is a quaint hotel in a very small town - great location to visit the Wicklow Mountains National Park and Glendalough. Staff were super friendly! Room was dated but large, clean and quite comfortable. We ate in the pub both evenings - delicious food, great service, lively atmosphere!
Nothing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
