Cant praise Jacobs Well enough, all the staff and owners were delightful, friendly and very helpful, the food was excellent with a great Irish breakfast that set us up for the day, the accomodation/room was very clean and cleaned daily. Entertainment in the bar Wednesdays and weekend. Great pint of Smithwicks
If I had to include something I didnt like it would be the room we had which was above the bar, it was noisy with the entertainment being just below. But, in reality it wasnt much bother but may disapoint somebody. The Hotel is on the main road and there was a bit of traffic noise for us

From the front this hotel/pub looks great but once you enter it has the wow factor! With a large bar area, dining area, garden and an extra room to accommodate the pool table at the rear. It is so clean you can see it gleam. With an impressive bar and back bar you won’t be disappointed with your first impression. The staff are very helpful and happy to accommodate you, the landlord and landlady are the hardest working couple I have seen in hospitality for a long time. Our room was very spacious and exceptionally clean, we were situated above the bar and could hear the din from customers below. The bed was so comfortable, it was the best we’d slept in a long time. We ate here on both nights of our stay as we didn’t want to go anywhere else. Every item on the menu is homemade. The lasagna and Brie is recommended. The breakfast will keep you going all day! The location is great as it’s close to the Wiklow Mountains National Park and to the coast.

Our room was spotless and had a fresh, clean scent (perhaps it had been recently painted). It was comfortable, and the beds were excellent. We booked a room that included breakfast, and I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu. Instead of the typical continental breakfast, they offered a wide variety of options, from porridge and a full Irish breakfast to toast, pancakes, and much more. We also dined in the restaurant both evenings, and the food was consistently delicious. The chicken goujons were particularly tasty. The Guinness was also excellent. I appreciated the thoughtful children's menu, making it a very child-friendly place. The staff was universally lovely, the food superb, and the beautiful natural surroundings make it all the more worthwhile.
The hotel has live music on weekends, which can make it quite noisy (we could hear it from our room). However, they do warn you about this during the booking process, which I appreciated. If you're a light sleeper and prefer a quiet environment, this might be a consideration. But if you're not bothered by noise, or even want to join the party, then this hotel offers excellent value.

Lovely place to stay, room was spotless and very comfortable. Staff were so nice. The food in the restaurant was lovely, we had dinner there the evening we arrived and breakfast the next morning. Breakfast was included in booking price. Location for tree top walk and glendalough was excellent! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
On the dinner menu the tiger prawn dish did not have tiger prawns in it, they were shrimp, which was disappointing.

Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Choice of breakfast is excellent and we really liked whatever ordered. Pub, restaurant and hotel in on makes this a very comfortable place in a smaal village. The restaurant is very good too and off course there is all the draught beers you are looking for.
Wewere with 4 frneds staying in a 4 bed room and for us that was oké, just sleeping and showering there, but it is a bit crampy and as the toilet is in the bathroon with the shower it van get a bit smelly (-;. And iit has a twin ande a double bed, so you 2 have to share bed and blanket.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pub and restaurant were wonderful.
The door in the gate to enter the upstairs is difficult to enter. One of our ladies tripped and fell on the sidewalk. Also, people outside the pub disrupted sleeping since the windows faced the street.

The B & B is located in the building next to the pub. You check in at the Hotel and they will take you to your room. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Breakfast is at the Hotel next door and it was good - i was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the coffee they served with breakfast. We enjoyed our stay.
There was very little lighting in the hallway when we returned to our room after dinner.

We chose not to park on the street but parked in the large free public open air car-park five minutes walk away. We were shown to our comfortable room which was of reasonable size, with ensuite shower and loo. It was spotlessly clean. This is a very busy pub/bar and restaurant. We had a drinks in the bar area and had our meal in a side area in sight of the bar. The restaurant seemed to be closed by the time we ate, but this was not a problem and our meal was excellent. Breakfast in the dining-room was good, with the usual choice of full Irish!
The bed-room was over the bar and the noise travelled, but was quiet after 11pm. Kitchen noise commenced at 7am but was not really a problem.
