I was a bit concerned about the size of the room for a stay of more than a week, but it was perfectly fine for two people — we just kept our things in our suitcases. The room is spacious, clean, and the bathroom is clean and well-equipped. Housekeeping emptied the trash every day and provided towel replacements. The whole property is beautifully furnished and clean. Although the hotel is located next to a main road, there was hardly any noise in our room, and the window could be covered with a blind. There are several restaurants nearby, and for breakfast, you can go to a Starbucks about 200 meters away. There's also a café on the beach that opens at 6:30 AM — the beach is about a 10-minute walk. The best way to get to Dublin, Howth, or even Greystones is by using the DART suburban train or buses. The seaside promenade is beautiful, and you can go hiking to Bray Head nearby. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing that would be good to add is at least a small fridge in the room — otherwise, excellent accommodation for a great price.

It was lovely
It was coded access and self check in. A contact phone number was available on the door. I called, and it was very hard to hear the person giving me information as it was on a busy street, beside a bus stop. I got instruction that the information was provided via email but it wasn't. Had to call again to be told to check my text message. The information was provided via text. It would be so much better if this information was provided via Booking.com or I had been told how to get the information before arrival.

The bed was comfortable, there was a mirror near a plug (a necessity for women drying their hair) , the shower was good and the room and bathroom clean. I liked the fact it was cleaned one of the days of my stay and I was given fresh dry towels which is always appreciated. The black-out blind also was appreciated.
The walls were very thin so I could hear other people in their rooms snoring at night. I mislaid my key card one evening and had to walk to the hotel on the front to find a staff member to assist. No one was on the end of the telephone number to call. I made a cup of tea the first day but my mugs weren't cleaned and milk wasn't topped up for the remainder of my stay which whilst not essential, was a shame.

Me and my partner had a good stay here. I’m not the biggest fan of hotels in general (prefer self catering as a home away from home), but Firefly was pretty good. Easy access to the train for the DART into Dublin (only €5.20 return each which is ridiculously cheap compared to getting into London from the same sort of distance), and we enjoyed the Bray Head circular walk (although read up on the cliff path to grey stones as it has been partly closed off for a while). Overall the place was easy to check into, clean and comfortable. I know others haven’t liked the beds being two singles together but quite honestly this was a perk for me. Bray itself seems a little rough (mainly coming back from Dublin at midnight) but I’d be more than happy to come back and dint feel unsafe.

The self service check in was efficient and the apartmemt was clean and comfortable. Coffee in rhe room and refillable water at the entrance was a nice touch. The Field Guide in the room made great recommendations for bars ans restaurants and Herbert Road car park was close by and inexpensive.
There was nothing i didnt like really. I would have preferred to stay closer to the prom but managed to hit 10k a day on my step count so that was a plus. The walk to the harbour bar isn't very well lit up in the evening and something to consider if your a solo traveller. There was a lot of renovation work goimg on in the area.

The location was superb, with a bus stop right outside the building and about 10 minutes on foot from the beach and the Bray Daly train station. There was also one Tesco nearby and plenty of restaurants near the seafront. Self-check-in was easy and quick, and the room had everything I needed (toiletries, tea, kettle). It was also very clean when I arrived. Overall, Firefly is a great value for money for anyone visiting the Bray/Dublin area.
The sound isolation inside the building was rather poor. I could hear people talking in the neighbouring room and also people walking in the room above me.

The location was very good for our purposes, on the main street close to bus stops or the DART station. The shower was very good and the bed comfortable. It's very suitable and good value for one or two nights if you don't intend to spend long in the room.
Firefly works entirely automatically so don't expect a human touch. The room was quite dark with only a window looking out on a small back yard.

Good location on the high street, just around the corner from a large council surface car park that was just over 5 Euro for the day. Easy walk to the Dart station to travel to Dublin or elsewhere. The same walk takes you down to the stoney beach. There are a few places to get coffee or a meal. I tried the fish and chips at the Harbour Bar (in the hotel details in the room) - lovely. There is also a fish shop next door but one if you don't want the walk. Room was comfortable, slept really well. On a main road so didn’t open the window buy there is air con. Also a hairdryer, iron and board, kettle and Nespresso machine. No lift and I was in the second floor so a possible consideration for some - but there are also ground floor rooms I'm sure you could request. Would definitely stay again.
No lift and the stairs with a heavy case. Nothing to do with the hotel - just other guests who are really inconsiderate and slam doors and talk loudly at 6am. Perhaps a sign to remind others to be thoughtful.

Stayed for 1 night on our way through the area. We weren't sure where it was located so parked our vehicle about 5 minutes away and found it using Google. Access code information sent prior to arrival, so easy to enter the premises, nice interior, room key in a lock box. Our room on first floor, small to medium size, nice modern decor. Amenities supplied, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, coffee and tea, kettle as well as a coffee machine. On a main road, but no noise. No lift. No meal options with this accommodation but there were a couple of cafes in the main street where you could get a breakfast.
No parking available

we were a bit worried about the technology as we are a older couple but it was very simple we were given very clear information so we managed beautifully the room was fantastic very clean and cheerful the bathroom also was very clean and well looked after the location was great we were central to everything the price was a bit high just for 1 night but maybe its more economic to stay a few nights but would definitely consider staying at this hotel again.
the price for 1 night considering there was no breakfast or staff to pay .
