The property is absolutely stunning, offering a tranquil retreat with beautiful surroundings. While one section of the garden could use a bit more attention and a few more flowers would add to its charm, this doesn’t detract from the overall appeal. The hotel itself is lovely, with tastefully decorated rooms that exude a cool, stylish vibe. The pool area is particularly impressive, featuring a large, inviting pool where you can easily spend hours relaxing. The owners and all the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. All in all, it’s a place I would highly recommend!

The breakfast was good but iz could be improved by incorporating more local ingredients and products from small, local producers. This would elevate the experience and provide a more authentic taste of the region.

We spent a wonderful 2 weeks here with our children. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. The garden with wonderful huge trees is a dream! We really enjoyed our delicious breakfasts below the trees. The pool was wonderful for adults and children as well. Day trips to Marseille, Aix En Provance, etc. were great fun and so were the beaches in Cassis and La Ciotat. We highly recommend Bastide Beaudinard for anyone wanting to relax and recuperate. The hospitality of Olivier and Yoann was outstanding. Thank you so much for having our family.

Perfect Chambre D'Hote in a beautifully renovated manor house. Our room was well appointed, spotlessly clean and decorated to a very high standard. Loved the fact there was a shared kitchen with a fridge for cooling drinks and facilities to make lunch. Also loved the shaded pool area to take in the Provencal sunshine. Breakfast was taken buffet style in the garden - loved all the homemade jams to accompany the breads and pastries. Special mention must go to Olivier and Yoann (and of course Simba) who were so welcoming to their guests and were always on hand to offer any advice on restaurants and things to do in the local area. Would 100% recommend

Nothing - it was a perfect way to end our tour of Provence

it was so beautiful, my husband kept saying when we first arrived, “Pinch me, this can’t be real.” Olivier and Yohan have done a stunning restoration to this historic property that has its own fascinating story through the centuries. Our teen daughters loved the pool and Simba the jaunty Labrador. My husband and I most loved the morning breakfasts served on the terrace, where we engaged with our hosts and other guests from Holland, the U.S, and France, all of us sharing about where we had been the day before and where we were going that day. We got many good tips for our excursions! We had the family room, called The Garlaban (named after the distinctive mountain that looms over the area) and we felt like it was a great value to have two separate spaces for the price we paid. The sofa folds out as a bed, with a real mattress. Our daughters said it was pretty comfortable. There’s a nice little kitchen that most of used to assemble simple meals (cheeses, cured meats, tapenades, local strawberries and cherries, wine, etc.) from market purchases on evenings we didn’t want to go back out. With notice, the hosts can make you a delectable charcuterie board featuring local products. Also, Yohan is a professional tour guide and we booked him for half day tour of Marseille. Highly recommend!

We ab-so-lutely LOVED it here! Yoann and Olivier were so kind and made us feel at home. The bastide is so beautifully renovated, so much thought and care went in to designing the rooms. It is a perfect place for a peaceful and romantic stay, but still so close to Cassis, les Calanques, Marseille,… Thank you both for this lovely stay. We will recommend it to everyone we know! ❤️

The Bastide Beaudinard is a very peaceful and relaxing retreat and ideally located for day trips to beautiful spots in the region. The lovely garden with its old trees offers different cosy seating areas where you can round off the day while enjoying some delicious cold plates/tapas accompanied by a glass of excellent rosé wine suggested and prepared by the hosts. The inside of the Bastide has been renovated and furnished with much love and attention to detail. Thank you, Yoann and Olivier, for being such welcoming and attentive hosts and for having made our stay perfect!

Yoann and Olivier are very friendly hosts. They do everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable The Bastide and guestrooms are recently renovated and look very pretty and the styling of the rooms is original. The swimmingpool is nice, and big enough to really do some workout. They provide a lovely breakfast with homemade jams and even a fantastic lemoncurd pie! We made a trip to beautiful Aix-en-Provence and Cassis. Both just a doorstep away from the Bastide. When we returned Yoann and Olivier suggested an "Apero" with lovely Rosé from the Provence accompanied with homemade tapenades served in their beautiful garden. At Bastide Beaudinard we have experienced what "living like God in France" means.

Nothing! It was perfect!

Everything was perfect. It's a beautifully renovated house on the outskirts of Aubagne with the vast and calm garden and the swimming pool. I could profoundly relax and the owners, as well as other guests were extremely friendly and we've had many small chats around breakfast and the pool. Really wonderful, convivial place. Do note that the car/taxi is the only way to get here and there are no grocery shops within walking distance. All in all can't wait to return!

A lovely place hosted by great people. Had a lovely cheese, charcouterie and wine evening on the terrace and great breakfast with home made conserves etc. They organised taxi for us in and out of Marseille and couldn't have been more helpful
