For a 2 star hotel our experience here was very good. Bruna could not do enough for us and was extremely welcoming and accommodating. I was dubious about the hotel before arriving due to the reviews, but everything was as described and as expected for a 2 star hotel - don’t expect luxury from a 2 star hotel. It is basic but perfectly functional. The location was very central and Bruna provided us with a hairdryer on request. The room with the terrace provided a lovely outdoor space and views of Cassis. There isn’t a lift in the hotel and the stairs are tight, but I knew that when booking so wouldn’t consider it a negative.

Nothing unexpected, the hotel is as described and what you would expect for 2 stars.

We had a room with a small private terrace. The terrace also included a storage for the cleaning personel, but this was absolutely no problem for us. I read some earlier reviews where especially the bathrooms were mentioned, but ours was absolutely new and albeit a bit small, it was amazing. The location is also fantastic, and even though the parking garage is about 8 mins away by foot, there is a space right outside the door for loading and unloading. The aircon was strong and the woman who received us was very helpful and informative. Would definitly come again!

Great location, it's downtown Cassis and close to the beach for a quick swim. Also right near the bus station to get you to the Cassis train station.

The price of the breakfast was rather high so we chose to eat out. Maybe a simpler choice for less money would be sufficient. The lights in the upper corridor didn't work.

I think the reception of this hotel is absolutely perfect. The lady who welcomed us was amazing: kind, informative and multilingual. Everybody we met was excellent. The location is the best you can find. You can see the harbour from your balcony but at the same time you will be in a secondary street. All amenities, including the supermarket, are right outside the hotel. The room was small but very lovely and it had a very nice little balcony. The parking needs to be reserved in advance and it is very convenient. It is a lot cheaper than any options offered in the town.

There is nothing I can find fault with. The rooms are quiet small but for us this was really not an issue.

The hotel is extraordinarily well placed, in the center, near the port! It can be seen that it was recently renovated! But, being in an old building, there are things that cannot be changed, despite good intentions (the size of the rooms, the structure of the stairs). The lady at the reception was very kind (I guess it was Natasha) and offered us a superior room compared to the one we booked, this one with a very nice little terrace! The room is narrow, but for a short stay it is OK! The garage is a big bonus, not being very far from the hotel.

Everyone working at Hotel des Calanques took great care of us. Breakfast was very nice, and in the offseason they went out of their way to set it up for us in spite of not having reserved in advance. We arrived after check in had closed and they sent us detailed video instructions on how to get into our room. The whole place was very clean too. I really enjoyed our stay!

The staff is super nice! Due to a change in our plans I emailed them the day before arrival if we could store or luggage at the hotel during the day, it was no problem at all. When we arrived the next morning they had already prepared our rooms for us! The hotel is clean and basic. It has a good location. The rooms were bigger than we expected after reading the reviews. I would stay here again!

The bedroom and bathroom was pretty standard but having a little courtyard outside our room was really cool and the bathroom was very modern and clean. The shower was super great especially. Bed was very comfy and overall had no issues. The staff were extremely kind and helpful especially when I took some breakfast when I didnt know it was extra.

The only issue I had was the lock to our door was quite confusing to figure out even though we followed the instructions on how to lock it.

Super good location seconds away from amazing places to eat and drink and short walks to beautiful beaches!

The walls are very thin as house keeping started really early and woke me and my partner up both morning we were there for the street out the window is also a bit loud of a morning too

amazing location right in the centre of town, really safe. the Staff were so helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and new and fresh.

the walls were extremely thin! luckily i didnt have noisy neighbours, but if you did a good pair of headphones would be needed!
