Very helpful staff and a short straightforward walk of about 10/15 minutes, when loaded with luggage, from Mitte Banhof. Rooms spacious and well fitted, with wardrobe, hangers, ironing board/iron, carpet slippers and robe, fridge /safe, and a good selection of hot drinks with kettle. Good bathroom with walk-in overhead shower. Best of all, a night light facility, so for once, my little toilet finding torch was redundant! Reasonable choice on the breakfast buffet, and a selection of foods cooked to order, eg. Scrambled eggs with bacon, waffles, and pancakes. Impressively they had a gluten-free ra ge of foods available . Good bar facility at night, and they were happy to store my luggage until after 6.00 in the evening , which meant I could have another full day exploring.

It is quite a walk into the old town, so I regularly used a taxi cost between 7 and 8 euros.

Separate shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion were fantastic. Coupled with the addition of slippers, a complementary dressing gown and a super comfortable bed, we felt pampered and relaxed in luxury for the evening. The room decor and lighting was great, and the air conditioning worked perfectly and was a lifesaver. The bathroom was spacious and shower was great. The customer service was fantastic. We arrived at the hotel hours before check in, to ask if we could store our luggage. They checked us in straight away, and we were able to go up to the room. We noticed that we were one robe and 1 pair of slippers short, so we called reception to ask if we could pop down for another set. They were at our door in less than 5 minutes with a replacement. Great tea and coffee making facilities, even included hot chocolate sachets and a biscuit each. Fruit and iced lemon water was available at the entrance which was very refreshing given the heat during our stay. I would 100% recommend this hotel, and will gladly be staying here if I return to visit Dresden.

Breakfast was solid and tasty, the staff was friendly and ready to help with anything. Our room was at the last floor - and we didn't hear a single sound from other people. The room and other premises were exceptionally clean and inviting. The spot is nice as it is close to all the historic places, but a bit to the side - so it is not crowded at all.

Would be great to have a bigger bed (however, I have to say that we stayed in the most basic room). At first our room lacked one complect of bath items, but it was immediately fixed by the staff

Room is clean and shiny and all in perfect condition with great amenities. Shower is large, new and clean, we received two connected rooms just as requested and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and happy to support. Breakfast is just great with many good options, fresh and tasty food. Location is good and we mainly walked anywhere, but note there are closer locations to the city center

The hotel's breakfast, both made to order and buffet, was wonderful with plenty of choices and a very welcoming and friendly staff. The room itself was adequate, with a good view and an interesting decor.

The fitness room is a basement fitness room (sigh). Yes, no windows, few machines and poor ventilation. It's clearly an afterthought that remains an afterthought.

Nice modern hotel. Two elevators so no waiting ever. Once properly oriented, pretty easy to get to the old town. Really close to a middle eastern and an italian restaurant, and a few minutes from a brewery restaurant.

A little farther from the old town than ideal. About a 15 minute walk. Room was an upgraded superior unit, but it was a little smaller than we like.

Comfortable, clean and convenient location to old town and access from motorway. Very good breakfast. The staff are very welcomming. Cosy bar with simple but good bar food - pizza, flammkuche, soup, bruscetta, chilli. Good parking garage 22 euros a day, or 6 euros a day on the street outside. This is our regular stop on trip from UK to Poland.

Nothing to dislike.

Very clean and comfortable hotel, beautifully quiet at night overlooking a small park and nearby music conservatorium. Smallish rooms but more than adequate, tasteful, interesting decor. Very good breakfast with both buffet and ala carte included. Staff generally pleasant and helpful.

Breakfast room very busy and rather squishy - one morning we were seated along a wall and literally couldn't squeeze our way in or out (and we're not huge). Some breakfast room staff not particularly friendly towards guests or more junior staff.

This is a small high quality hotel, with great rooms and very good breakfast. The location was perfect for us, as we arrived by train, wanted to walk around the old town, and pick up a car later. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from train station, 15 minutes walk from old city, and there is enough parking places around on street, and additional parking with the hotel. The staff is very helpful, smiling, and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing really

The room was small but perfectly adequate, and the interior design features made it feel fresh, interesting and gave it a personal touch. The bathroom was clean, the water pressure was very good and the water temperature stayed constant throughout (not necessarily a given in a hotel by any means). The staff were helpful and very friendly.
