It's a luxurious hotel and this is the impression that you get from the moment you enter the premises. The room was very spacious, we had a nice view towards Elbe river and we've got a cot as requested before. The breakfast was very very good with many different options, staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is fantastic, on the edge of the old town, just great.

The parking is quite expensive (24EUR per day). Pillows were super soft and uncomfortable for me. We had a bit of unstable temperature of the water in the shower. Not a big deal but those are the points to improve.

Really good location, within easy walking distance to the old town and the sights. Excellent breakfast with all you could wish for. Our room had a view to the Elbe which was lovely. Our comfortable room was really spacious with plenty of storage space. We would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend. Competitive parking price as we received a small discount for our 4 night stay.

There wasn’t really anything. We didn’t dine in the restaurant in the evening so cannot comment. The pool can get quite crowded.

Excellent location: The hotel is within walking distance to the historic center of Dresden. The building itself is of historic interest and has been renovated in a stunning fashion. People and dog friendly hotel with good access to doggy walking areas around the hotel and along the Rhine. The hotel is easy to reach by car and offers good parking facilities. The hotel offers an excellent breakfast with a great choice in a breakfast room overlooking the Elbe and with a terrace for taking breakfast outside in good weather.

There seem to be plans afoot to put an office for staff working for the Saxonian government between the Elbe river and the hotel. This should be resisted at all costs!

EMPTY BAR IN THE ROOM, AND IT MATTER WHETHER I ASKED ABOUT IT OR NOT, IF THERE IS A BAR, IT SHOULD BE REPLENISHED (I RETURNED TO THE ROOM BEFORE MIDNIGHT AND WAS UNPLEASELY DISAPPOINTED); 2. HOWEVER, SWIMMING POOL AND SPA - SEPARATE PAID ENTRY TO THE "SAUNA" AREA. NO TOWELS, NO SERVICE, I DID NOT FEEL THE ATOMOSPHERE OF PEACE

Hotel interior is fantastic, location in the city is also fantastic. Breakfast was extraordinary. We had a minir situation upon arrival and immediately got a new room. Staff was very polite and friendly. Elevator ride is experience you must get. The pool was nice and clean. Very clean, very nice furniture and classy feel overall. Would go back!

Official parking is too expensive and there is a nearby parking that is much more affordable. Beds could be more comfortable. The fact that our initial room had a drainage smell issue was a minor nuisance, but staff reacted quickly and to our satisfaction.

It's a lovely hotel with ample parking available. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Staff very helpful, small issue with the room when we arrived which was rectified quickly and with a smile. Swimming pool was great and fun for the kids. It was a short walk into the beautiful central of Dresden. If I was in town again I'd definitely consider stating here again.

Improvement would be separate towels provided at the swimming pool rather than having to use rooms bath towels.

Everything - we stayed for a week, the location is a perfect base for exploring Dresden. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very helpful. We were there to celebrate a 70th birthday and we were not disappointed - it was a very enjoyable week.

We were there during a heat wave - over 30 degrees every day. That couldn't be helped of course but the air con in the room did not seem very effective in that sort of temperature but I don't know if anything can help when it is that hot.

Exceptional staff and facilities. Breakfast the most extensive I have seen in many years of travelling. Only a 10/15 minute stroll alongside the river Elbe to the Semperopera ,museums and art galleries of the old town. An amazing hotel and worth every penny.

As an elderly traveller climbing in and out of a slippery bathtub for a shower is not fun. Having sturdy hand holds would help.

The breakfasts were amazing: a huge selection of food and drinks all very fresh. The hotel is quiet, we almost didn't hear our neighbors. The city center can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. That is, the hotel is very close to the main sights but is a little bit in the distance, so it is quiet and peaceful. A small swimming pool is accessible and towels are provided. Our stay was two days off in a row, so we could not buy milk for our young daughter. At the piano bar closer to the night, the bartender found milk in the hotel kitchen and poured us a glass.

There was no robe, slippers, toothbrushes, or anything else in the room. On the second day of our stay, we noticed a small card on which it was written that you could ask for these things at the reception. I realize that maybe not everyone needs it, but it is better to ask about it when checking in. Also, the air conditioning didn't work in the room and our windows faced the road - we had to sleep with the windows open to the noise of cars. I realize this is not critical, but I would like to know that the air conditioning is not working now throughout the hotel, not broken specifically in our room.

Hello there. I thought I have to say that. I found reception staff need a bit more of training. When customer arriving and waiting , they need to be invited, called to preside to the desk. I was standing, waiting and resection person was looking at computer, so I do not know if they are busy or waiting for me to do the move first. I understand that in Germany service can’t be called over friendly but standards should be reached. Also in sauna facility, which I had to pay extra I was forced to take my bikini off by other guests(German). I thought it is unexplainable. And if that the case and guest have to go to sauna naked the staff should inform guest and put some writing ✍️ sings that we all have to be nude in those saunas. This aria is more a relaxation facility , not a torcher for one and enjoy for other . I was upset, very uncomfortable and didt go to sauna next day. It was shock for me to see men with young girls(daughters) going to sauna naked. I didt sings for that. And if it is the way it should be information for foreign guest, becouse not all countrys at the same level and would like to get some privacy and choice. Over all it was not bad. Thank you. Elena

I didn’t like that room was not cleaned, saying that electricity had to be saved. I had an empty bag left in the bed, saying leave it outside and they will put some goody’s in it.so I end up chasing them for that goody, just to see what it was. Thought I was a bit tight.
