I booked the Penthouse, because its the PENTHOUSE and I stay there MANY times per yr. for the last couple years. Elevator opens DIRECTLY INTO YOUR SUITE (I LOVED THAT). The view is..."YES". Anna at the front desk is Always smiling and pleasant, I look fwd. to seeing here every time I arrive. Location is away from the noise (3min. drive to beach) but close to nice restaurants (there is new construction next door Vista 2). Pool clean nice size, workout area...24hr security and Clean.

Penthouse needs a KING bed and a Bigger TV...there's a few wall repairs (holes...peeling paint) that should be taken care of. Painted red, wood furniture on the balcony stained my clothes DONT SIT THERE. A set of tableware or silverware with some glasses and cooking utensils would be appreciated.

This was a continuation of my stay which I had there two days earlier. The extremely helpful staff upgraded my room to a 2-level loft apartment, which was bigger, nicer looking, and had a better view of the beach. This was highly appreciated. Anything you needed and wanted to have they supplied very quickly like extra pillows or towels. Very friendly and helpful. The affiliated San Tropez restaurant is literally right on the sea (you can go in your swimsuit, bathe and have lunch) and only 2 minutes away by walking, which was another discovery. They offer a 10% discount for the residents so make sure you ask for it by showing your key and the food there is really high class gourmet and the variety and quality are tops. Enjoyed it several times. They cooked the Risotto Genovese exactly as they do in Genoa, Italy.

Booked a small studio as a last minute stay. Had stayed there before. Needed to leave for a couple of nights in Santo Domingo and then come back to Boca Chica. Very accommodating and attentive staff. Needed an extension chord to connect my personal devices which was immediately provided.

Had a slight problem with a leaking air conditioning system on the second night before leaving. The staff offered to change the room when I got back.

This was a 4 day trip getaway as a couple. This residence is located around other residencials at Boca Chica.The security is top-notch. Felt very secured walking around in the night. There's a 24-hour security onsite. If you order takeout, you have to go downstairs and pick it up outside the residential. We had to walk about 15-20 minutes to get to a nice Colmado and get some fritura food to eat. Just be advised that if you don't have a car it be kind of complicated to move around. The residential it's self has a nice pool located on the 2nd floor. The water is nice and warm A+. The apartment was very clean. I just felt like the bed could have been better, more comfortable, and supportive. If you needed room service, you had to leave the key by reception. Let them know you wanted the garbage picked up and clean towels.etc etc. The AC worked great A+. It's a very nice and quiet area so if you want to relax this is the place. Party and loud music, then this would not be your location to stay. Hope my review helps. Also the receptionist who works in the morning and night shift. Very nice girls. Balcony was nice. I expected a little better view and better seats, but it's ok.

The bathroom could be more upgraded. You have to be careful turning it on makesure you don't burn since the hot water could come down. You have to babysit it before you go in there lol The bed could be much better, better mattress and supportive. Kitchen utensils and stove need to be more upgraded. I had a coffee greca without any handle.

Excellent loft design. Well decorated. Super friendly staff at the reception. Full security, delivery not allowed to go up to rooms but will be brought in by the reception personnel. Very functional wifi, nice TV with lots of channels. Exercise room with gym equipment in pool area. Very comfortable bed. Free parking. Within walking distance to everywhere you want to be. But you need to act safely, especially going out at night, when it is advisable to take a taxi.

Would have been nice to have a couple of small bottles of water and a welcome coffee kit to make coffee on your first morning. Guests were not respecting the rules about not going in with wet clothing into the elevator. A suggestion - May need to reinforce the rule with some kind of a penalty deposit (i.e. all guests deposit a certain amount like $25.00 and those who violate the rules as verified by security cameras, will have their deposit forfeited, while others will have it reimbursed).

Great apartments with everything you need and a view across the ocean. Very friendly and accommodating staff and reception. A well run establishment with comfortable and homely apartments.

The property was good, no complaints but for me Boca Chica misses the mark. Not really a beach more a bay and the private beach access, though very appreciated was really access to the bay via a restaurant, not the sand and sun lounges you would normally expect at a beach. Dominican Republic has some truely stunning beach towns, but i would include this town on that list.

Everything was as expected. It was a nice budget property, a good bang for your buck. The partnership with the nearby restaurant St. Tropez was nice, although the restaurant seemed a bit overpriced. The 10% discount was nice.

The beds weren't very comfortable. The fixtures in the bathrooms could be updated. The doors all stuck a bit so it was loud opening and closing

The apartment was truly gorgeous and very spacious. It had absolutely everything you need. Close to everything..restaurant. beautiful pool with a grilling station. I will definitely book again at Vista Marina Residence

No negative experience

This was our 4th, maybe 5th stay, I forget. The location is excellent as well as the staff. Very friendly and accommodating. This is our choice to stay when vacationing in Boca Chica. If something is missing, we talk to the receptionist on duty and the issue is ALWAYS taken care of sooner than I expect in the Dominican Republic.

The bed was a little to hard but acceptable. Power outages, as expected, but they're not really a fault of the property. Fortunately the power outages were limited to only one day, yes, another surprise there, too.

From checkin and during my 5 night stay everything was great. The staff is friendly, and this is my favorite hotel in Boca Chica. Iv'e stayed here many time, and the accommodations are excellent
