an absolutely wonderful experience. The atmosphere was incredibly calm and relaxing perfect for unwinding. The room was extremely comfortable, and I truly felt at ease throughout my stay. The staff were exceptionally helpful and always attentive to any needs I had. One highlight was when they went out of their way to book a spa appointment for me at Diora , which turned out to be superb. I can honestly say these were some of the best days of my trip. I highly recommend U Sathorn for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-serviced place to stay in Bangkok.

Clean and comfortable

We initially booked three nights and had a very pleasant stay. The room was comfortable and clean. Later, we decided to extend our stay for two more nights and asked the hotel if we could keep the same room to avoid packing and unpacking our luggage. However, they said it couldn’t be arranged. We understood there might be reasons for this, so we left our luggage and went out and came back around 10 pm to switch room. The staff told us the extra bed was ready, but when we got in, no extra bed. The room also seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned for a while with a slight odd smell and even basic amenities like toothbrushes, which were supposed to be provided were missing.

Breakfast was excellent and food in the library was also good. The room was big and elegant. The garden was beautiful.

The pool was not nice because there was too many people who had no manners. Many and many young women came to the pool in full dresses, even jackets on and they did not use shower. In the afternoon water was grey, oily and it smelled awful. These young women took pictures all the time with no limits and they did not understand, that other guests did not want to be photograped. There was a lot of screaming and yelling, no possibility to relax. The children who we met did behave very nice, only these women did not. The pool area was so beautiful that it was very irritating to feel it like a circus.

The app to order food, and request room cleaning was excellent. Very easy to use and good for communication. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The availability of facilities was excellent, always sun loungers available by the pool. There was not a Spa and wellness centre on sight , however a quick google search found the chain they refer customers too, the closest was a 9 minutes walk

The location of a non-smoking room with the door opening out to the smoking area didn't feel like great placement. Perhaps the smoking rooms could be given this area? Smoking by others at the pool and from their balcony also drifted which was not pleasant. The room by the smoking area, both late at night (after midnight) and early in the morning (before 6am) was very noisy with suitcases and trolley's being wheeled along as well as talking

The room was spacious and modern with a balcony overlooking pool and grounds. The property was beautiful and it felt like a quiet, remote resort in the middle of busy Bangkok. Great location.The breakfast buffet had so many choices and was delicious. Also, t he staff was very nice and attentive.

I did not like the see through glass door on the toilet. The toilet door also didn't go all the way to the ceiling. There was a drape across the entire bathroom but that was still not enough privacy. I don't know if I would stay in the hotel again with that type of bathroom.

This hotel is fantastic. I stayed for 3 separate visits over the Christmas/ New Year celebrations. The consistency of the food, drinks and staff is outstanding. Good luck to Rock on his new venture, thanks for taking care of us. Also Wong & Yu, Pla, Pong and Miew, Pum. These ladies and gentlemen compliment this wonderful hotel and make you feel very special. A big thank you to the new general manager Cherry for her care and attention. This lady will do anything to help and is always checking to make sure you are OK. Last but not least, a special thanks to my friend P. This young man is a wonderful addition to this hotel. Helpful, professional and excellent at his job. Nothing is any trouble for this young man. I have mentioned many people in this review because it is the people who make this lovely hotel so special.. Great pool area, sun all day unlike most hotels in Bangkok, blocked out from skyscraper's. There are hotels, that you like and there are hotels to which you want to come back again. U Sathorn is definitely a place that I would love to visit again. Warming welcoming vibe from the team that does not feel forced or extra. Waking up with the rays of morning sun and birds' songs was what I needed. Birds and a cat really make you forget where you are , and remind you that we are part of nature after all. You can see signs of property aging here and there, but it adds to the cozy homey charm honestly, and the way everything is thought of and every detail makes sense, it all creates luxurious experiences. Superb experience, thank you!

The hotel is very luxurious with great facilities and service as well as delicious food. The staff did an exceptional job at making us feel very comfortable during our short stay. They have amazing room service and all the necessary amenities in the room. Additionally, you can order whatever else you might need and you can do this via their hotel app, which is super practical. We stayed at the hotel because the 24-hour-use-of-room was perfect for our last day in Bangkok, but we will definitely stay here when we visit the city again because the value for money is incredible.

U Sathorn hotel is a peaceful haven of tranquility in a busy and bustling Bangkok. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant is fabulous with great choices for breakfast lunch and dinner should you choose to eat in. Frans brunch and greens is a great place to eat nearby too. The pool is gorgeous and all the staff so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend. Also only a short walk or hotel Tuk Tuk to metro where you can tap and go with your contactless bank card.
