Very friendly and helpful staff all over the place - from reception to bar to barbecue team - everywhere :-) We had intially booked the standard rooms which were a bit too basic for us. After the first night, the manager organized an upgrade to the superior rooms which are a lot better. A lot!. Thanks again for that. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and always fresh prepared. During our stay the team set up a seafood barbecue for dinner, hope they keep this!

It was quite noisy due to a close beach diso/club and the main street.

We were initially in one bedroom which the bathroom had a very bad smell. By the next day it didn’t improve so the staff very kindly moved us to a room upstairs that was way better. They have a bar by the beach, and even though the music was not intended to be too loud, the bass could resonate a bit in the rooms… so it might not be the perfect place if you are looking for quite and early nights

Excellent location. Close to everything you need. Managed by Suranga...a gentleman who took care of us. Our bed was very comfortable and our room was clean. Thanks for everything Suranga and hope to see you next year!

I can see they're lacking funds for general maintenance. More could be done with standard of food. No fault of management or staff. All are great. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much

Great location, right on the beach and a quick walk to many restaurants. The rooms were very clean and the staff was amazing. I got sick with dengue fever during the stay: the staff kept checking in with me to see if I was okay or if I needed anything and upgraded us to a room with AC for a small additional payment to make us more comfortable.

The room was a bit different than we expected from the pictures (e.g. there were no mosquito nets)

Location was great! Proximity of the beach. The place is beautiful.

Staff was not very present and not informative ( no communication). It didn't look like the restaurant was open? again no clear information. Bathroom is not very modern. They could have cleaned the room.

Staff is more friendly. They helped us to find new places to explore near at Arugambay and gave tremendous service during our two days stay. Beach view at hotel was incredible. Located center point. So it’s easy to accessible public beach and street.

Nice place with ok food, access to nice part of Arugam Bay beach, large garden area. Big, clean, conveniently equipped room. Location great, multiple eating/shopping/atm options in surrounding area. Whole staff was very nice and helpful(especially with our little child). Worth noting: despite the party vibe of the place and the beach bar they really care about the comfort of the sleeping guests at night and the whole place quiets down around 10 PM.

Not a disadvantage of the hotel itself just a clarification of what to expect: place is pretty lively during the day, loud music plays all day on the bach, lots of day guests of the beach bar, fishermen, surfing school attendees hanging around. If that's your vibe then it's a great place. But if you're looking for more quiet and calm atmosphere the place can be little overwhelming.

What an amazing property located right on the beach 😍 Their Tiki lounge is so cosy to sit, or lie in a hammock, and enjoy the sun and ocean sounds. Even though breakfast was included in our room price, we could choose every morning from the à la carte menu and thus got a great variety of breakfast options. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Definitely recommend!

The low budget room was cozy and had everything we needed but wasn’t the cleanest place we’ve stayed in. There were a lot of insects, which is understandably if you’re sleeping in a beach house, but still not very pleasant. However, I still feel we got great value for money as the room was considerably cheaper than many other similar places in Arugam Bay.

The holidays were exceptional! Very nice staff, good food, especially the fish market! The bungalows were perfect for us as described, right by the sea.
