The garden is great, and the location is fantastic. It’s possible to book a boat trip with 3 stops to visit temples and ruins. The host is really nice

We booked the smallest room, the decription is clear about what to expect. But still a bit to small and primitive for our taste. It was very clean

Very good location close to the historical park. I’d initially wanted to stay closer to the river, but think this was the better choice in retrospect. The owner was lovely and very helpful, the rooms were small and quite basic, but comfortable. Showers/toilets outside of unit were just across from the rooms and clean. There was no noise from other guests at all from what I could tell, despite the place being well booked. There were a couple of options for just sitting and lounging about the property, and the trees provided nice shade. Several eateries and a coin laundry were located within five minutes walking distance. We didn’t borrow bicycles, but the ones I saw seemed well-kept. The massage place across the road is open to 9pm. Do recommend the boat tour offered — the THB50 „extra“ vs buying it from the pier cover pick-up and drop-off at the hotel and are absolutely worth it. If you bought a pass to the historical park, take it with you, as entry to Wat Chaiwattanaram isn’t included in the boat tour fee.

There was a bit of noise like from a distant club from around 22:00 both nights, but out of the three of us, I was the only one who noticed and aircon + earplugs easily took care of this for me.

Convenient location near all the temples is a huge plus. The facility is a bit older and that adds a lot to its charm and character. It feels very homey. The older gentlemen at the front desk, "Pop" is very kind and helpful. When we needed to get a ride, he helped us by calling a tuk-tuk

The room was a bit warm in the daytime. There isn't any insulation in the walls, just bare wooden panels which let the heat from outside in. It has the affect such that even the air conditioning on full blast can't cool the room down during the day time (but after dark the air conditioning was sufficient).

Very friendly staff, always smiling and ready to help! The room was small but comfy, even had an AC. You get a free bottle of water, tissues, towels, + snacks and some beverages at the entrance. In the bathroom, you can find shampoo and shower gel. I loved the balcony and the lobby. Both are well maintained. You can also hop on a bike provided by the host for free!

It can get quite noisy in the morning when everyone wakes up. Keep in mind that it is quite a long walk from the train station to this place, but getting a cab isn't an issue.

The calm and the beauty of the property, the garden, the house itself. Breakfast was amazing, the owner and the staff very kind and helpful. Private bathroom even if it’s not in the bedroom is a real bonus. Proximity of the temples.

Our bedroom, we didn’t have the choice, it was fully booked. Very small, no real windows, feeling a bit like in a box. Nothing to see with the other rooms in the proper house and the littles cabins. Next time I will choose those ones if possible.

The atmosphere and location was great. The staff were fantastic. We had a minor plumbing issue which was dealt with swiftly and efficiently. The host was very helpful and always happy to help. The guests had a communal area to speak to each other if wanted. The scenery was beautiful to wake up to. Free bike rental was extremely helpful

The level of cleaning standards in the rooms (under beds for example). The bikes need a bit of work in terms of comfort. The benches on the balcony could be a bit more cushioned.

Its super cosy, has a oasis like garden & balcony where all guest can escape from heat and rest during mid day, very quiet. Close to everywhere, just opposite temples, there is a really nice cafe just on the corner 2 mins away, perfect location for a perfect stay. They brought 2 bottles of water every day to room. AC was working perfectly. Windows with net, protected from mosquito etc. It was a beautiful and peaceful stay, Free bikes available.

Nothing! Just they can provide soap in toilet.

The location is perfect. The host is extremely welcoming and kind. When I arrived he upgraded me to a bigger room as it’s low season so quite quiet, and the next morning I was struggling to find my tour so he phoned around for me and got the answer. Very welcoming environment and a lovely stay! Room was big and comfy, powerful AC! Had my own bathroom which was clean and stocked with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

No complaints, it’s exactly what I was after.

The location was excellent, a 5 minute walk from the archaeological site. We arrived in the evening and there was a lovely night market just outside the grounds with the ruins in the background, it was very pretty and lots of great food options. The beds were comfortable and had a mosquito net, although we didn't see many mosquitos about. The shower pressure was really good. The staff were very friendly, and the grounds of the hotel were nice in a little garden, very quiet. We travelled with our two dogs and they were made very welcome, and it was nice to sit in the garden under the shade of the trees with them early in the morning before it got too hot.

Amazing bed and pillows! Kinda cozy feeling and absolutely wonderful mornings on the second floor balcony with view on beautiful shady garden. And of cause location! 5-10 mins walk to the most famous sites, 7-elevens, cafes and etc

Must have: earplugs and anti-mosquito repellents or your nights gonna be ruined with 0 sound isolation in rooms. Also bathroom can be a little bit cleaner... even with this kind of authentic house. Some coat hooks in bathroom would be very useful.
