Spacious and a large bed. Host explained everything. Bikes were available at 60 baht and motorbike were also available to hire. Host very accommodating and friendly. Came over from Kanchanaburi by local buses and the drop off point was only 200m away.

Nothing! I enjoyed everything about the stay.

Warmest of welcomes the moment we stepped into the grounds. It felt so homely. The traditional style room is immaculate; bed and bedding so comfy. All necessary home comforts have been considered - lamps, mirrors, pictures, generous pillows, quality bedding, vanity supplies in the bathroom (gorgeous scented handsoap for example) and a seating area just outside your room. The convivial reception area is equipped with comfy seating, water, tea, coffee and all the information you could possibly need to make the most of your time in Ayuttaya. Central location is ideal for convenience - A few minutes walk up the street is the fabulous Night market and just across the road the most amazing life-saving massage Thank you to the proprietors for this recommendation as well as all your advice - and for building such a special place in this busy city

Very friendly hosts. They give you a lot of information and are very helpful. Two times we rented their bikes (60 Bath). Rooms are comfortable with a big fridge. Location: great, walking distance from different temples. If you come by train, you just cross the street and take the ferry. Once you're on the other side, you walk only 5 minutes to the hostel. On your way, you pass Jim's Café. A nice place to take a break. They also have chocolat from Belgium! On the other side of the street, you'll find a massage salon. Give it a try. Many great restaurants nearby. Our favorites were Sikram and Raan Tha Luang. There is no breakfast but you can take a morning coffee outside which gives you the opportunity to meet other guests.

Wifi wasn't always good.

My stay in Baan Bussara was just lovely. Rooms are spacious and clean. Owners are super nice and with good advices. Location is just perfect. Very close from morning market and lots of massage shops. The night market is a bit further but still close from the guesthouse. Maybe same distance to go to train station taking the little boat to cross the river. If you are on short trip and don't have much time, just rent the bikes here. It's same price everywhere in town. Also for the boat trip.

Mosquitoes but it's definitely not the owners fault. If you travel with a mosquito net you'll be fine during the night

Very happy with my stay here. My room (6) was large and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice and clean, there was ample hot water in the shower, and the host couple were pleasant and helpful at every turn - the coffee bar in the morning was a nice touch. It was close enough to walk to the small evening market up the road by the park entrance, but quiet too, and they have some bicycles for rent at 60b/day too. There’s also a good selection of local food options within easy walking distance. (We really liked the 10b soup across the road!) Would definitely recommend a stay here for singles or couples.

We have stayed at Baan Bussara several times, and there’s a reason for that. The rooms are clean, spacious, quiet, and well-maintained. There are bicycles and motorbikes for hire, and the friendly owners will organise pretty much everything locally for you if required. The owner will also make the washing machine available for a small price too, with an outside area to dry the clothes. 15 to 20 minutes walk to the excellent night market. We ate at the night market most evenings. Oh, and try the Michelin rated mussel omelette stall at the market too! The chef is an entertaining soul.

Nothing to dislike

It was my second time staying here, love it and will continue to come next time. Good location for night market and morning market, very nice owner, size of the room huge enough for two, hot shower and balcony/terasse, fan, ... You can rent a bicycle with them for same price as everywhere in town and they have a boat trip to see 3 temples at sunset time. They also have a/c, tv and a fridge but didnt use them.

Mosquitoes but not the owner faults as always but now they have the electric racket to get rid of them 🥳 and this time i brought electric repellent So was just perfect

Outstanding budget guesthouse. My stay in Ayutthaya was enhanced by staying here. I hired a bicycle from them for day 1 to see ruins on central island. Boonrod, the owner organised a boat trip to see 3 excellent ruins/shrines and day 2 I hired a motorcycle from them to go to Summer Royal Palace and ruins outside the central island. Room, good size, big bathroom, fridge, fan, wifi. Comfortable bed, water & toilet paper left outside door each day. Near night market and mini marts. Boonrod has excellent English. Highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay 😃

Absolutely nothing!

Big king bed very spacious room. Clean. Small guesthouse. Nice lady received spoke English. Can rent bikes, they aren't great bikes but in the heat far better than walking. The historic park is several acres, bike makes it so much more pleasant than walking in the heat

Town itself is grubby, garbage everywhere. Good Thai food from street markets, but don't expect any western food. However The historic site park is groomed and full of shade trees. Very pleasant. Go early morning. Ayutthaya is worth one or two days tops.

I recently stayed at Baan Bussara Hotel in Ayutthaya and had a wonderful experience. First and foremost, the owner is incredibly lovely and hospitable, making sure all our needs were met with a warm smile. The room was very clean and comfortable, offering refreshments that were much appreciated after a day of exploring. The hotel also provides motorcycle and bicycle rentals at reasonable prices, which we found very convenient for getting around to Ayutthaya's attractions and local eateries. The location is central, yet the atmosphere is peaceful. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Ayutthaya.
