Great environment, nice rooms with sea views and very good food. Staff are friendly, professional and helpful.

Some inflexibility around food. On Sunday we wanted a light snack for lunch as we were eating out in the evening. This wasn't possible - full Sunday lunch or nothing! So we went out somewhere else. That doesn't seem right in a hotel at this level.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the beach. The staff are always excellent and could not be more friendly and helpful. Every one of the team try to make the stay enjoyable.Breakfast is always good with a wide choice, quality ingredients and well cooked. The rooms are nice. They are quite large, very comfortable and have good shower and bath facilities. All areas are very clean.

The bar area was closing in the evening after about 8.30pm. We like to eat out and then come back to a drink in the lounge but on at least 2 days this was not possible. We understand March is not a busy time but as a 4 star hotel charging a significant amount this seems pretty poor.

This is by far one of the best establishments I have ever stayed in across the world. It should be a 5 star hotel. The friendly staff cannot enough for you, nothing is too much trouble, the rooms are superbly clean and cozy, the food is amazing and the little touches make it great. While we were at breakfast they opened the windows and freshened the room. In the evening they turn down the bed and bring fresh water and put glasses by your bed. These touches and the friendly staff make it beyond excellent. Could not recommend enough.

If I had one negative thing to say. It would be the 12% service charge added to meals and drinks. If you eat a meal and then have a drink in the bar and add that to your meal bill it is added with a service charge, which seems a little unreasonable. Fully understand this charge if you are not a hotel guest, but if you are, to me it makes more sense to add it into the cost of staying in the first place, or adjust the food prices. Otherwise it just looks like a hidden cost. Appreciate this is discretionary, but the cost didn’t concern me. Just the way it was charged.

Amazing location, literally on the beach, we fell asleep to the sound of the sea. Breakfast on the beachside balcony was fantastic and so much choice. Nothing was too much trouble to arrange for the friendly and super-helpful staff. We were reassured that the kitchen is nut-free which was important for us. Lovely room, just big enough as a family room, would be perfect for a couple. Juliet balcony above the beach. Honestly this was perfect, the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed in!

Staff were amazing.. taxi driver picked us up was fantastic, desk and breakfast staff amazing and we ate at their steakhouse food and staff amazing there.

We paid extra for a balcony but only one of us could go out on the balcony at a time it was more like a window box however it didn’t spoil anything we just had the romantic idea of sitting on the balcony

Braye is right on beach with views of harbour too - so always something to look at and excellent if you want to be in the sea. Excellent outside seating areas on decking and comfy sofas in lounge area if weather not so good - and board games provided too. Good breakfast choices and had lovely meal in The Vault - fresh catch of the day.

Nothing to criticise - good all round. Beds comfy, nice bathroom, excellent shower. Fantastic view (we had sea view room). Lift for me (arthritic knees) so access no problem. Excellent location with other bars/eatery’s very handy for variety.

Fabulous location on Braye beach and in easy walking distance to St Anne’s. We walked from the airport as it was downhill but got a taxi back. Our ferry was cancelled, otherwise it comes in right by the hotel. Fabulous breakfast choices and very attentive friendly staff throughout the hotel. Lovely toiletries in the room and plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits with fresh milk and water in the fridge.

Braye Beach is situated right near the beach and views out over the bay are lovely. It's so relaxing and peaceful. The staff are exceptional and ready to help with everything. Our room overlooking the street was very quiet Food excellent and lots of choice at breakfast. The Hotel has a terrace overlooking the Bay where you can eat breakfast and lunch. We would definitely stay there again.

I personally could not find anything to dislike.

The location and the view of the bay was just amazing. Especially the sunrise . The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and the hotel did everything possible to make our stay great and special.

There was a little bit of maintenance happening. However, I fully understand this needs to happen. We did visit at the end of the season. That is the only negative.

- Very well located, next to the beach. - My room had a very nice view on the beach. - Room was spotless and comfortable, including the bed. - The hotel has two restaurants: one rather upscale and another one more traditional, as well as a nice terrasse serving drinks all day long. Staff at the restaurants, as well as for breakfast, are efficient and stylish. - The hotel is extremely quiet. - The staff were very friendly and helpful
