The room was very cute, we enjoyed the comfy bed, and the personnel at the reception was very friendly. Apart from that as a person who constantly gets cold I was happy about warm temperature in the room and a spacious bathroom. The studio's kitchen had everything one needs to cook. We stayed at the end of March and the water in the pool was warm. We went one hour before closing time and it was completely empty. However if there are 5-6 people it might already become quite full. But for this price of the room it's a very nice option to have.

If you're a light sleeper make sure to take earplugs and a sleeping mask: the walls are quite thin since it's an old buiding so you hear a lot what your neighbours are doing, which is not that dramatic. Our room was in front of a lantern and it was quite bright in the room.

Very central location (small village though), on main Street. Staff were very nice friendly and helpful. Place looks really cute (like a little Smurf’s village 😉). Nice little spa with massage option (took the 25minutes for 35€ which was nice). Restaurant in the accommodation which had nice food (not more than that - need to clearly say if you want to get a table inside or outside). Room was very clean and the kitchenette was more than sufficient for our needs. WiFi was working great.

The floor is from wood and cracks a bit. Our room (number 9) was facing the main street so was a bit noisy when morning traffic started. Because there is no AC it can get a bit warm so recommend to bring a portable ventilator.

Very charming hotel in a historical building, with inside patio, where guests can have breakfast. Good breakfast. Very good restaurant with traditional cuisine. For us it was a great place to spend long weekend in Alsace.

Our room was a studio with the bedroom on the upper floor, but the stairs were quite steep (it could be a problem for elderly guests) Also in the bathroom, the shower is inside the bathtub, which is not very practical.

Wonderful opportunity to discover what hides behind the wooden gates of all those old Fachwerkhäuser of the region: a labyrinth of rooms, stairs, balconies, wine cellars. Our apartment was furnished with what seemed to be antique refurbished furniture, lovely wall decorations with Jean-Jacques Waltz lithos, rich breakfast in the morning, calm night with the bell sound from the clocktower

Beautiful hotel in a historic town. Friendly staff and good restaurant. Our room was very nice.

I did not like the fact that the hotel restaurant was closed from 14:00 till 17:00 so you cant get anything to drink. You have to look for a restaurant in the village that is open during the afternoon as most of them are closed as well.

I loved the suite that had an Alsacian authentic cosy style. The whole place (Bergheim itself too) is very calm and quiet. The food and the service in the restaurant was great. The breakfast was a buffet, the food was delicious, fresh and local. The personnel from the reception was really nice and helpful and spoke English. They also informed us that we can go to a wine degustation close by (the same owner). As I didn't book in advance a massage, they were really kind to accommodate my request in the end, despite having no places left and I eventually enjoyed a great Bengali massage.

Absolutely lovely location in the middle of a beautiful little village, several wine cellars in walking distance (including one of the hotel’s family, which was delicious). Spacious family room, although a little dated. Good restaurant and very nice staff. Possible to have a lovely run through the vineyards!

It was a great / superb experience staying in this beautiful hotel. Arriving in the city and at hotel means entering a different world which offers relaxation and French hospitality. Flowers and vine branches everywhere with old machinery such as wine presses on display. If you love romantic rooms with old but restored furniture (like we do), however with a modern bathroom it is a MUST to book this hideaway! We also had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant - it was very tasty and the prices were totally fine! Another plus point: As it was my boyfriends birthday i asked if it is possible to have a small cake in the morning ... well it worked out and we both had 2 wonderful tartelets in the morning - THANK YOU! In general the region is very scenic - there are quite a lot of things to do (especially for kids being 6/7+) BUT Bergheim is very sleepy. If you want to have a drink in the evening (especially on Wedndesdays / thursday when the restaurant is closed) it is almost impossible to find something. So get some drinks in advance and take advantage of the 2 beautiful inner courtyards of the hotel.

Perfect location to explore the route des vins and other places of interest . Lovely village .felt like stepping back in time to the 16th century expecting the 3 Musketeers duelling on the balcony at any time !..

The room was outdated and in need of renovation. Bathroom in particular .

Everything was excellent! Atmosphere, personnel, cleanliness and the location. We loved the place snd will go back again!

Coffee was not good, while breakfast had good options. Actually that is the only thing which they need to improve.
